If you are paying less than $NTD 1400/night. You can skip my review but during peak season in December, this hotel does not justify the premium price of $NTD 5000/night. The room itself is dated, dirty and the bathroom shower curtain smells like stinky sweat. Not to mention the bed itself is hard as rock, you might as well as sleep on the floor. Least the bed sheets and blankets are relatively clean. But you won't get a good night sleep with all the funky smells (even at Lobby the insects pesticide smell was a bit overwhelming) and paper thin walls when your neighbour is partying whole night. You can hear everything from a couple chatting next door to a group of people yelling and laughing, you feel you are among among the action til 3am. You can also hear anyone on the floor above you showering or flush the toilet during the night. Overall the sound proofing is non existence. We wanted to cancel our stay after first horrendous night. But the hotel doesn't reply to any communication with the booking sites so after 3 sleepless nights I was glad to wake up at 4am and check out to the next hotel. If your budget can stretch there are better options out there.

Extremely disappointing – Absolutely not recommended!!!!!! We booked this hotel for two nights based on the many positive reviews. After our stay, we genuinely cannot understand how this place received any good ratings at all. The disappointment started the moment we entered the lobby, which smelled strongly of mold. For a supposedly accessible hotel, the first shock came when we saw the room door: a simple glass door through which every sound from the hallway could be heard. The room itself was extremely worn down and completely unacceptable, so staying there was not an option. We were offered another room, but only for an additional fee, which we were told covered both nights. So we moved. Upon entering the four‑bed family room, we were shocked again: the entire room was in terrible condition. Every piece of furniture was damaged, scratched, or had peeling paint. The bathroom was full of mold, and every tile joint was dirty, cracked, or rotting. Hygiene standards were clearly nonexistent. Shortly after, the unfriendly receptionist called us to inform us that we would have to move again the next day because they had made a mistake with the price. So we packed up once more and changed rooms. Unfortunately, this room was just as bad: run‑down, musty, and extremely dirty. We truly cannot understand how this hotel has received such positive reviews. It is neglected, smells moldy throughout, and is far from clean. We absolutely cannot recommend this hotel under any circumstances. It could also be a safety hazard (see pictures), not talking about any animals you could find in the bed (luckily we didn’t find some)

Besides the bed been hard like rock but it actually doesn’t hurt my back. I don’t have that ‘wake up needed to stretch’ but it’s not good for side sleeper. Well, that been said, you’ll be tired after long day so it’s fine. I love the night staff, I didn’t get his name but you could chit chat with him with there’s nobody around. Ask for suggestions etc. the room is clean and not dusty. The toilet has ventilator so it’s a plus point for poop smell. They’re strict with late check out. I was charged with 300NT (11:15am) check out time 11am. so bear in mind. Don’t have to be mad about it. I should’ve passed the keys to the counter first and do a last check of the room after.I’ve chatted with others and we all have different room different themes!! I’ve got a all pink.I am able to fit 2 cabin size + 1 large luggage. The space is big enough for me and my mom.Toilet has a tub too!!! Good for soaking our tired feet. The have a basement with tea eggs, cereal, games, massage chairs, washing machine, dining/gathering area.

I stayed here for two nights with my boyfriend, and we had a wonderful time! The location was great, and the hotel staff were all incredibly kind and helpful. Some reviews mentioned issues with the bathroom, but our room was very clean and everything worked perfectly. It was such a treat to be able to soak in a bathtub outside of Japan — I felt so happy and relaxed! There was also a basement area with complimentary drinks, massage chairs, laundry machines, and even some games we could enjoy freely. Everything about this hotel was amazing.I’ll definitely stay here again the next time I come to Taiwan! 謝謝❤️❤️❤️

The staff was friendly. The room was spacious. Some furniture is new. The floor was dirty and the shower door won't close fully. I am ending my stay earlier and going to a different hotel. I will not come back to this one. It was very loud at night or early morning. Couldn't get a good night's rest.

Hotel is only about 300m from the Shuanglian MRT station and lots of food shops and convenience stores within walking distance. Love the fact is they have washing machines & dryers (didn't use them) and a large lounge in the basement for free beverages. If you have kids they'll love the jelly which comes in 4 flavours (grape, strawberry, coffee & green tea). The rooms were a bit aged but everything was in good working order and clean. Only odd thing I found was that they write your room number on the 2 access keys that they provide. Imagine if you were out and dropped it, someone xould just pick it up and go straight to your hotel and get into your room. Tried telling reception that it wasn't a great idea but not sure if it registered. All kn all happy with my stay at Yomi and would go back again

Have stayed throughout Japan and Seoul for last 3 weeks - this hotel is such a disappointment- Upon arrival had to change rooms 3 times due to dust and a full on window view into adjoining family lounge of apartment 3 metres away! Another room as depicted in photos on booking page was available but was told as it a renovated room I would need to pay more!! The carpet is old the bed is hard -( I mean like sleeping on the floor hard) I would not recommend at all !

Yelp
I must said this hotel feels just like home! (It's location is in Taipei) Super 24 hrs friendly and helpful staff (especially Yuki and Roder) with clean facility. This facility is suited for all type of traveler. Staffs here speaks all type of languages. For us, my 5 years old daughter, husbands and myself enjoyed this place greatly! This facility has washer/dryer, game room, office room, break room to enjoy coffee and tea, free breakfast complimentary, bikes, computer and printer for your use. In our hotel room, My favorite feature is the hot shower and toilet seat warmer! In addition, complimentary waters, instant noddles, coffee/tea, electric water heater for us to use. This hotel is surrounded by restaurant and also 7-eleventh. It's only 5 min. walk to the metro station. (Shuanglian MRT) We stayed on monthly bases and loving it! We highly recommended!

Yelp
Staying here for our taiwan trip. 80$ a night for a suite room. With the complimentary amenities like coffee and breakfast, laundry use, WiFi in house and wifi mobile device, and so on, I'd say the stay here has been pretty darn worth it. The multilingual concierge is absolutely wonderful and pleasant. They helped us organize a day tour to yehliu geopark, shihfen, shiwei and Jioufen with an equally as knowledgeable and fantastic tourguide. The suite room is a decent size for three. We do have three large suitcases so that sorta occupies a corner of the room. However there's still enough space to move around. There's also a sauna in the bathroom which was an interesting surprise. Although the hotel only has one elevator, I have yet to experience elevator traffic. I highly recommend yomi for anyone looking to stay in Taipei.

Yelp
We highly recommend this hotel if you travel to Taipei for a visit. OMG it is better than some US$300 a night hotel in U.S. We have a suite w a queen size memory foam bed and a single bed. There are two charges for iPhone/android/iPad. We get free Wifi in the room and a loaner for Wifi access while outside. They provide free bowls of instant noodles, bottles of water, cans of energy drinks, snacks, coffee, and tea bags with refills every day. Inside the bathroom, there's a sauna room. The toilet seat is heated to the comfort of your bottom. You can wash your bottom after doing business . The buffet breakfast is unbelievably generous, serving Chinese, American, and Japanese style menus. We could fill up before heading out for the day. There is a massage chair in the bottom floor for you to relax. In addition to bibles found inside the small chest next to the bed, surprise! we found a pack of condom! Laundry with 3 washers, 3 dryers, and detergent is free. This is unheard of in all of our hotel experiences! The staff can speak English and the hotel is conveniently located in the city within walking distance to subway. I could have given 10 stars for this hotel .

Yelp
Not a great experience at all... Limited help with taxi and luggage service. Some rooms don't have elevator service. Breakfast is via stairs in the basement with bad odours smell since it's next to toilets and washing machines. Plus side is it comes with free condoms and ear plugs when your neighbour is having a one night stand. Not sure why the rating is high...

Yelp
This hotel is ideal for anyone who's looking for a low-cost break while traveling in Taipei. Although the beds are a little stiff, you need to take into account there's free laundry and you can play Wii or Mario Brothers while you wait. Also, free breakfast in the morning with coffee or tea. BUT most importantly, a bidet and a large soaking tub in the bathroom. A 10-15 minute walk to the night market and close to the MRT red line stop Shuangling for convenience. Great staff.

Yelp
This hotel is great. They provide fresh fruit, water and other drinks in the room - for free. There are built in chargers for smart phones and the breakfast buffet is very good with a wide selection. The front desk staff is super friendly and helpful, speaking English to help with directions. I highly recommend it - especially for the price.
