Beautiful white sand beach, with a lot of space and turquoise sea water. Definitely a good spot pour the sunset. Probably the best beach in Miyakojima if your goal is to lay down and get your skin tanned a little.

After touring around all the beaches on Miyakojima and nearby islands, Yonaha is the best beach for suntanning for me. It is easy to access and has free parking. There are sun beds renting services available, there is a cafe on the beach and a shower/toilet. The beach itself is very long, with amazing soft white sand. There are more shallow areas further towards tokyu hotel for the ones coming with kids. In the evening you can be lucky to view amazing sunset, if not too cloudy. The only thing I wouldn’t come here for is snorkeling: haven’t really seen any fish here.

It is really a beautiful beach. Very long. It was not crowded at all (mid May 2023). Very quiet and relaxing Of course the restaurant close to the parking is totally so very commonplace. No interest, but I was hungry :)

Truly spectacular place! It is selected as the best beach in Japan by so many guidebooks and rankings because of its clear, blue water and fine sandy beach. The crystal-clear emerald green sea gradually becomes darker towards Kurima Island ahead. You will be impressed by the sight you have only seen in postcards. On your left, you can see the beautiful Kurimajima Bridge across the sea. Located between islands, the water around the beach is very shallow and there are almost no rips so it’s pretty safe for little kids to swim and play.

It’s a nice beach to play in the water. Sunset is looking nice too. I went there on the very last day of February and was lucky that the weather was warm for that one day. It was like my private beach 😀

One of my favourite places on the planet. The quality of the beach, sea, facilities and surrounding nature married with a bit of man-made practicality is top class; not many more beautiful places than this.

This beach is the perfect relaxation beach. Most of the vendors are awesome but don't rent from TRIP unless you like screaming J pop infringing on your beach time. It's a shame too because they hold the best part of the beach.
