Yongduam Rock

Breezy and relaxing spot by the coast interesting to see the unique black charcoal colored rock formations. A nice place to take a short walk, enjoy the ocean view, and feel the fresh sea breeze.

Quite a nice coastal area, alot of tourists come here for photo taking.

The wind was so strong and cold if you walk down there, yet it's so soothing and the rock did look like a dragon's head. You can even see airplanes flew over. love the sound of waves hitting the shore. "Yongduam Rock is a breathtaking natural wonder! This iconic rock formation, shaped like a dragon's head, is a must-see on Jeju Island. The stunning views of the ocean and surrounding landscape make it a perfect spot for photography.

The waves crash hard, an endless, booming white, Pounding the rock where sea spray fills the air. They splash and retreat with unrelenting might, Yet fail to wash the inner worries I bear.

It’s a rock formation. If you’re nearby it’s lovely walk& close to a cute park so it’s definitely worth checking out!

The walk was stunning. The cafes along the way are mind blowing, world class.

It is a natural scene and near to the seaside, did not spend too much time here, plus it was winter time just took a few pictures and left. Maybe it is better during good weather time to really enjoy the view.

16 December 2024 at 5.30pm Take time to make out the jagged and layered rock similarity with a lion’s head. It’s also a picturesque spot to catch the sunset and watch the planes making the final approach. Maybe even snap one in the background!
