Went for some beer and dinner. Both were great. Tried the blue cheese burger. The patty was huge and tasted great. Sweet potato waffle fries for the side. Sat at the bar and service was great. Tuesday was trivia night so we stayed. The host did a great job with the game. Highly recommend.

Upon walking in at 830pm on a Saturday we were concerned since it was basically empty- especially when we realized they closed at 9. However, the service was not lacking, the beers were cold, and the food came out HOT & FRESH, which was a great surprise since we were starving from a long drive! Everything about the experience was great! Only thing is no TVs or games to play and no real "atmosphere", especially on for weekend night. I'd go back for the food and beer tho for sure!

Google
Got bungy backroads pizza and hot wings followed up with chocolate peanut butter cake. Everything was excellent. The pizza had caramelized onions. Yorkholo is officially my favorite place to eat in Mansfield. Can’t wait to try another item from their menu

Google
The wings were amazing, great sauces and cooked perfectly! Some of the best I've had. I got the Bungy burger with fries; the burger was cooked perfectly but the onion rings were chewy and it was sitting in a pool of sauce, which made the bun soggy. The fries had a good taste, but were cold/soft and didn't seem fresh. Our server was very friendly and helpful, and checked on us often. Our table however was *very* sticky and gross feeling, and there were a lot of flies. Lots of potential, but it was quite expensive for what we got and I'm not sure that it was worth it.

We were in Mansfield for work and we decided to stop in one night. What a treat! The atmosphere was amazing and the food was absolutely delicious and filling. Do yourself the treat and make sure to stop in, next time you're in Mansfield

Servers were new and had never eaten there. Could not recommend anything good and forgot our silverware even after bringing food.. House salad dressing very mustard-y and awful. Forgot cranberries on salad. Breaded chicken sandwich was huge and awesome, but served with the tiniest portion of lukewarm fries. Maybe 20 small fries. Asked waitress if this was a normal portion size and she said yes. Ketchup only in packets which is fine for takeout but annoying for eating in. Expensive for two..$35 and we were still hungry. I would go elsewhere..

Google
First time visiting and it was great. The beer pretzel and the Southwest burger were both amazing and delicious. I never thought that nacho cheese and guacamole could go so well together in a burger.

Stopped on a Friday around 430 shortly after they opened. No wait and plenty of tables or bar seats to choose from. Waiter was very nice and informative, prompt with refills and taking orders, food out quickly. My husband ordered the Fish and Chips which he enjoyed. Said the fries and tarter sauce is exceptionally good. I had a soft pretzel and garlic parm tofu bites which were delicious. The tofu bites are beyond amazing and the best tofu I've had in a very long time. My husband tried all 8 beer on tap and liked all except 3. He particularly enjoyed the Black Lager and the British Brown Ale. They have a brew crew mug club with cool thrown pottery mugs, seems like a good deal if you live in the area and drink regularly.

Yelp
We were greeted quickly, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Nice selection of beers on tap, including two from other breweries. Few unique beers and some nice IPAs. Food was good, always appreciate it when the kitchen listens and gives you a rare burger when you ask for it. Fries, fresh cut, and perfectly crispy. Great food and beer, nice ambience, welcoming, and friendly service, definitely five stars!

Yelp
Many options on menu Clean and nice seating area Food tastes good Prices reasonable Quick service

Yelp
Stopped in Mansfield on way to Canada - small university town with a small "Main Street" drag. This place stood out by a mile - and we were not disappointed! Top notch friendly service by Anna - she made amazing recommendations and patiently answered questions without making us feel rushed. We ordered the dark mild Yorkholo, kale salad, fish n chips, veggie burger (be sure to get the cheese on the side - it's a lot), and the spinach dip (scrumptious but massive quantity!). Everything was hot and delicious!

Joel L.

Yelp
Excellent experience. First when I called to ask when they closed they told me when they stopped seating. This was a great way to communicate we are welcome to show up anytime before then rather than leaving us guessing when it's too close to closing. Second, the service was incredible. We felt welcome, well informed and taken care of. Polite, informative and attentive, you really couldn't ask for better. Food was very good as well. Burgers were creative and tasty, the fish and chips was solid, fries were hot, this was worth the stop. If you order coffee you are going to get an absolutely stellar cup of coffee made in an aeropress. Why not five stars? The beer wasn't up to the rest of the experience. It was fine but not great. Would I come back? Absolutely.

Yelp
Very nice spot for a college town with a small-town feel. Had the PA Grand Canyon Vanilla Porter, which was excellent. Also ordered a pretzel burger with seasoned fries - freshly cooked, delicious, and well-priced. Service is quick and cheerful, and well worth the stop.

Cassie T.

Yelp
Great spot to stop in for a few tasters and the best thing: fried pickles! The good kind too - pickle spears! Delicious. The beers are good, especially the PA Wilds saison & Dead River amber ale. Service was good and there is a little patio out front. No dogs allowed, unfortunately, according to their sign.

Amy S.

Yelp
Wow. I really wanted to like this place. They were out of a lot of stuff when we sat down, so we ordered the spinach dip. The first one they delivered was broken. Pools of oil on top and clumped cheese? I sent it back. The second was much better texturally but had roughly 4 leaves of spinach in cheese fondue. It was edible, just not what we ordered. The pizza was ok. Very greasy. The fish and chips was also disappointing. The fries were flaccid and overseasoned beyond edible. And the fish, although tasty had twisted in the fryer and folded on itself. So the areas where it touched, the batter was uncooked.

Bobby M.

Yelp
We stopped in for a date night and got seated right away and ordered quickly, however it did take 30 minutes to get our water. But the quality of the food made up for the wait! It was very tasty and good portions, I opted for wings and a pretzel and the wife got the pepperoni, sausage and onion pizza

Anye S.

Yelp
Lunch stop on our road trip home, and a great find! I loved my bacon shrimp wrap which was crisped up in a panini press, hubby loved his bbq bacon cheeseburger. I was driving so he had a beer which he enjoyed. I also particularly liked their homemade ranch dressing which was generous with the dill. The place had nice brew pub ambiance and offers cider for sale, not busy at lunch on Saturday. Several coffee / bakery places nearby so a great place to stop. Not cheap but commensurate with quality.

Kristoffer F.

Yelp
I come here for the burgers. If you are a Bud Light and french fry guy, then they got you but... It's all about the burgers for me. Wednesday night is pizza night and they are not shabby. TEXAN APPROVED.

Kitty K.

Yelp
Food and service was great! The homemade ranch was amazing! Will be coming back to get more poutine fries!

josh b.

Yelp
Wings better at other places. The ranch is horrendous, blue cheese is better but not great. They were out of apple juice for my kid. Chicken salad was good and service was good. Going to try the place next to it next time. They really need to get better sauces.

Matthew S.

Yelp
Do you like BEER! Well, need I say anymore? Lol Good variety of types of Beer, the people here are really nice, good food, nice variety. In the neighborhood come on by

Shannon C.

Yelp
Traveling through from Tampa Fl: nice location, the staff was friendly and very attentive. Food was good, we had Chicken fries and the Yorkholo salad. Many beer selections on tap, we sampled a bunch, good though maybe a little immature. Worth the stop. Cheers!

Jim B.

Yelp
Had a great visit here, evening dinner stop on the way to NY. Warm, casual ambience after street parking right out front. We prefer bar seating in these pubs and there was plenty of room for the two of us. Super friendly, prompt attention and service. Thank you! I had the bacon bleu burger with onion rings, the other entree was the veggie southwest burger wrap. Super pleased with the quality and qty of food, super good. Beers, yep, also super good. Great place, family owned, homage to the grandfather (York) who lived in a hollow, spelled holo...now I know how the name came to be... Keep up the good work, we'll be back!

Jeff N.

Yelp
Bummer. Such good beer, and such undercooked burgers. The good - those beers tasted great. Service was decent, but staff wasn't all that friendly. The bad - two burgers ordered. One was ordered medium and came out with a pulse. It was actually cold in the middle, and wouldn't even clock in as rare. Other one was ordered medium well. It was served as medium on one side and barely rare on the other. Bill was partially credited, but I wouldn't risk eating here again. It really seems like a health risk to have the food. Would be back for beer, but that's it.

Steve S.

Yelp
Great atmosphere good food. Service was not as good as the food and it took a ridiculous long time to get our order and food. The deep fried pickle spears are crazy good and the fish and chips while hot were not what I expected since the fries /chips were soggy and not chip like. The fish made up for the fries since it had a light crispy exterior. Yorkholo deserves another try when in the area.

Jenn J.

Yelp
Great food and great service! What a great stop on a road trip! Especially since it was easy to get off the highway and back on! I recommend the Cajun shrimp wrap and spinach dip. My friend who is a vegetarian was very happy with the selection too!

J P.

Yelp
I was in town for work and the hotel recommended this place. Apparently the place in named after the owners grandfather. It is not a big place which made it feel more local. The waitress was great and when I selected my beer, she said let me bring you a sample first just in case you don't like it. She was correct , so I ordered the summer light ale. We ordered an appetizer of fried pickles and a bacon blue burger cooked medium well. The food came out at a reasonable time. It was hot and delicious. My only knock on the place was that is closed at 9:00PM on a Friday.

Curtis M.

Yelp
Grass fed burgers top the list (right, it's not 'fine dining' but, the dining is fine!) Extensive selection of craft beers, brewed on site. Folksy tavern ambiance and cheerful service. One of our two recommended restaurants in Mansfield (which is close to being a restaurant desert otherwise).

Lisa D.

Yelp
Food was wonderful and service was amazing. Recommend to anyone looking for a night out! Went at Christmas time and the place was all lit up for the holiday. Just what we were looking for.

Steph S.

Yelp
We loved our experience at Yorkholo. It was not busy when we went in, likely because this college town is on spring break. Regarding COVID: There was hand sanitizer when we walked in, tables were spaced out, employees were masked, and there was a sign for patrons to wear a mask at the door. The food was great. We had a Yorkholo salad and a pulled turkey sandwich on a pretzel bun. The salad was HUGE, fresh, and delicious. I took half of it home. The sandwich was really good, and the pretzel bun was soft and perfect. Instead of choosing a single beer, we ordered a flight and enjoyed sampling the options. It was well presented. The waitress was patient, and knowledgeable about the history of the bar/restaurant which was very cool. Overall, it was clean and welcoming, and we will definitely be back. I recommend!

Ali K.

Yelp
We really enjoyed our dinner at this local brewery. My mother and I had the meatloaf and my sister had the boneless chicken wings and homemade pretzel with queso. Everything was delicious and the portions were enough for a second meal. I tried the Pumpkin IPA and liked it so much, I purchased a growler to take home with me. The story behind the name is a good one, and the young man who waited on us was friendly and knowledgeable.

Dolores H.

Yelp
Delicious BBQ pork sandwich special! Wait staff very helpful and able to adjust my order to GF. The restaurant/brewery was very inviting, great atmosphere and pleasant to be in. Will definitely! stop again.

Pam S.

Yelp
Not dog friendly inside or outside. We were looking forward to eating there but ended up at Thin line. Blitz met another doggie and we met new friends and exchanged numbers

Anjanette K.

Yelp
Yorkholo... YUM! Great find in Mansfield. Neat building and atmosphere, interesting beers, and very tasty food. Tonight was pizza night, and the Bungy Backroads Pizza did not disappoint- absolutely delicious mix of meats and veggies. Apps were great, too! Very friendly waitresses rounded out a super experience all around. Do yourself a favor and check this place out if you find yourself in Mansfield!

Arthur S.

Yelp
Food pretty good. Waitress awesome nice and helpful. But she was the only waitress for the whole place! Waited a long time for our beers and food. Owner should be ashamed because place is under staffed!

Kristen H.

Yelp
Headed north through PA and took a chance at Yorkholo in Mansfield - so glad we stopped! Great decor, super friendly service (a wee bit slow, but very friendly and polite) ... beer was tasty! We ordered the BBQ chicken salad special - fresh and delicious. We also got the poutine - flavor was good - texture not so much. Fries a bit soggy and way too much gravy( I never knew there was such a thing until we got our order) but all in all I'd highly recommend checking them out

Nancy R.

Yelp
We really wanted to visit but we were traveling with our dog (well behaved and on a leash) and they said they could not serve us inside or outside seating. Had to go somewhere else

Ann S.

Yelp
I recommend their Kale salad. It is so very good. Complex with all kinds of veggies and cranberries! Not just kale!!! It is a large portion, so I was able to have some the next day, and not a bit soggy. I think next time I go I will try to buy a large portion since it kept so well. By far, the best kale salad I ever had!!!!

Lisa C.

Yelp
My husband loves their beer. Their food was awesome also. Very friendly staff. Definitely recommend.

Frank D.

Yelp
This past Saturday I had possibly the best sandwich of my life at 73 yoa. The smoked brisket with bacon on a pretzel roll covered w maple bourbon sauce was outstanding. People should be busting down the doors for this. Our severs, Emma and Micki did a wonderful job and also had a Clayton meet the outstanding Che,Tim. Topped it off w a couple Green Monsters and the day was complete. Thanks for a memorable experience

Gianni A.

Yelp
This place is awesome. Sick vibes man really enjoying my time here. Food is delicious.

Jeanette L.

Yelp
We were in town for our daughters orientation at Mansfield University, loved the Main Street location. Excellent service! Our waiter explained the history of the name and owner, etc when we asked. Food was great. Best honey mustard sauce! Will definitely return when back in town.

Brittany S.

Yelp
Worst service I have ever experienced. Don't go here on a lunch break because you will be there for two hours and thirsty the whole time. The waitress could have at least acted like she was busy. If the place was on fire she definitely wouldn't make it out alive.

Nick C.

Yelp
Great food and decent beer - definitely a great place to visit if you're in the Mansfield area. Monday night they have artisan pizzas made out of spent grain from the beer making process. Would definitely recommend getting a pizza - however the wings are also very good. Would recommend staying away on Tuesdays (Trivia night) if you don't want to play trivia because the place is very small and you can't hear each other think. Overall a great place to check out!

Heathe W.

Yelp
This place is a total hipster paradise. Take it or leave it, depending on your thing. That said, it has one menu item that is so absolutely ridiculously delicious, I cannot leave town without getting some to go if I don't have time to stop in and eat in the bar itself. It's the Cajun Shrimp Wraps. These dang things are SO good. I have no idea what makes them so delicious. I don't even like Cajun seasoning usually! These are INSANE. So delicious!! One of those foods, when one is eating, one never wants to be gone... I highly recommend trying the Cajun shrimp wraps when you stop in to grab a beer. It's a little menu item that is nestled on the menu, no one has the slightest idea of how stupendously good these are!!

Eric L.

Yelp
They were out of all 3 beers that I wanted to try, but I had a lager that was good. The burger and fresh cut fries were pretty good as well.

Steve M.

Yelp
Ouch... it's a small town I get it but wow... the menu looked great but it seemed like things that were on it weren't available. My son ordered the pretzel burger but didn't find out until it was finally delivered to the table that they were out of pretzel buns and that was only after we asked about it once it came to the table. Not sure why they ask how you want your burger cooked because both of ours weren't medium but a borderline dry and well done. We've been in the area for years and wanted to try something new but this makes Sheetz look good.

Alicia K.

Yelp
Mediocre at best. We love small breweries, but we must be honest, the brews we tried were nothing to rave about. The foods were little better, even though they did have a nice variety to choose from. We had a gluten-intolerant person with us, and the hostess had told us the special of the day was served on corn tortillas, it was not! Apologies were given, and a couple of us made exchanges at the table so no one would go hungry, but it was a disappointing experience overall.

Mikki K.

Yelp
The food was amazing!! I got the steak and my friend got the meatloaf....he loved it!!!! My husband got Fish and Chips....we was very happy with his choice! I would go there again as there aren't many places to eat there..... So glad we found it! The people were very kind, interactive and very knowledgeable about the restaurant's history. Thank you for a great meal!

Joe C.

Yelp
The food was a little slow, but worth the wait. It was the best poutine I've had outside of Canada. The wait staff is helpful, cheerful, and overall very good. The beer is nice as well. If I'm back in Mansfield, I will be back.

Eddie S.

Yelp
Very good burger, fries, and kale salad. It was very tasty and the atmosphere was nice.

Sandra A.

Yelp
This was an unexpected treat. On our way from DC to Rochester and looking for some good food on way home. Nice little restaurant and brewery. Not far off the interstate. Worth the detour. We split a Blue cheese burger w fresh cut fries. And it was delicious! Cooked med rare could of ate the whole thing but decided to try the pizza as well. Another great choice. Special crust. Veges cooked just right. Glad to have some to take home. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful in suggesting the right beer for our taste. That was good too. Will remember this place on next trip.

Dana B.

Yelp
Got ripped off when they saw my out of state license. They charged my card for a meal I did not have hours after I left the restaurant. If you are a tourist stay away. I picked up a growler on a recent vacation back to Pennsylvania and was charged for $50 of food that I did not get. In my credit card dispute you can even see they ran my card 2 hours later when I was not anywhere near the restaurant and it had no signature. In my dispute they state "Dispute is invalid because the card was used twice at the establishment but hours apart for different amounts. One was a growler fill and the other is for meals and drinks. I believe the person came into the establishment twice and may have forgotten." I was not able to further argue the dispute because I was on another vacation on and Chase did not send Yorkholo's denial to me with enough time to get them a response. I called and left my contact info and never was gotten back to. I'm tired of fighting it and out $50. I have Google Location History that shows I was by New Albany, PA around the time of the 2nd charge to my card, and I had picked up a pizza at Papa V's so I wouldn't have ate there anyway. Side note, I brought the growler to a wedding reception and no one liked the hefeweizen.

Michael S.

Yelp
Nice selection of Yorkholo beer with some guest beer choices. Wine is also available. Food is great. Menu has also included some vegetarian choices. We will be back.

Ann H.

Yelp
Don't show up with a dog to sit outside. Beer was mediocre, we were going to order food but half of their items have bacon but they were out of bacon, service was ok except for the short, bald, chubby man that continually berated the poor waitress for not getting rid of people with dogs fast enough. Nothing was done about the children running around screaming like wild animals while their parents ate but NO DOGS!!! The children were more of a health hazard than any dog.

Eunice A.

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem in an amazing little town. Our first trip with the YHEC program and this town just opened its doors to us. Trivia Tuesday was a blast and a break from all the rain. The food was great. The staff even better. The Mayor...awesome. Makes ups want to live there. Found my new favorite wine. Country Canyon Concord from Oregon Winery. Yes, we stopped and bought a case on our way out of town. Worth the detour.

David M.

Yelp
Very nice place to eat and drink. The atmosphere is very nice and the food very good. My wife loves the pb&j burger. The tap beer menu is good but could have more beers.
