Children’s room is closed. Noted on the website and on signs on their doors. Not wheelchair accessible. Great for able-bodied adults but otherwise you’re out of luck.

Nice quiet library, comfy bar style seating right by the large windows makes for a nice studying experience!

5 star service, but this branch is in need of an update - especially the front doors

Inaccessibility. I finished using the computer and walked over to use the bathroom about 15 minutes before closing but a librarian told me the floor was closed. I told her I needed to use the bathroom and she told me I could not. I received a firm no. This was extremely inappropriate and ableist. Many patrons have medical conditions, may be taking medications, or have an age related need to use the restroom. I was sure to head to the facilities with plenty of time before closing. I barely made it to my next destination, which kindly let me use the inclusive restroom with no questions asked.

The staff at this location are extremely rude. I would like to put names to actions but I was barked at and attacked by multiple staff members all at once for asking a question and didn’t get a word in to request names. The male security employee is the most pleasant person to converse with. Totally unnecessary the way they speak to the public. Something has to change, the reviews says it all about the staff.

Why would you deny a guest at the library from using the public bathroom 20 minutes before closing. This is shameful behavior and very disturbing, please teach the staff to treat all people with respect, and not allowing access to public restroom is unacceptable.

I came in today to get some quiet reading done in a cool place while I waited for kids to come out of school. It was ridiculous that two of the staff and seperate intervals proceeded to carry on a very loud conversation with a woman that came in I don't know for what. She seemed to just ask a question a stayed for about 40-45 minutes talking very loudly as if she were in a cafe meeting with friends. Is it just me? I always thought NYPL'S are supposed to be a fairly quiet space, and to have not one but two librarians carry on for such a long time with what clearly was loud conversation is so inconsiderate and rude!

The librarian was so amazing helping me with my genealogy.
