Negatives (-): 1. No hot water inside the rooms, only in public restrooms. Funnily enough the hot shower there did not work either. 2. No bathroom amenities, just towels. 3. Inadequate curtains in the rooms and bathrooms. Positives (+): 1. Large car parking area. 2. Near a Masjid (good if you’re muslim, otherwise the call to prayer sound will disturb you). 3. Free breakfast. Not much choices but good enough. 4. Beautiful garden.

This is my first time stay in a hotel instead of homestay at Bromo. At first we got a little reservation trouble but the hotel staff could manage it well. I love the room and the outdoor of the hotel. We had family dinner here at the hotel's restaurant, so warm and fun. Thank you Yoschi's Hotel and staff!

WORST EXPERIENCE AND PLACE EVER, DO NOT GET THERE||* The room: |- Ours was next to the street, where dozens of jeeps pass from 2 to 3:30. Do not expect to be able to sleep with such noise|- No thick curtain, expect lots of light in the room from 5am|- Water from the sink just goes down on your feet||* The food: eggs pastas and rice are fried and oily, orange juice tastes very bad (not fresh), and the host refused to give us milk for the coffee ^^||* The experience: my girlfriend and I wanted to hike to Bromo viewpoints, then Bromo itself, by our own means. |The tour organiser from the hotel tried to sell us his tour, telling us with great insistence that it is very dangerous to hike to Bromo viewpoints in the dark, that the road was not indicated clearly, and we might get lost in the dark and fog.|We ended up walking there by our own means, and can tell: the walk up to the viewpoints is a not even a hike, it is just a simple one-hour walk. Hundreds of families walk there every morning with kids, wearing usual urban clothes. The walk is super well indicated, accessible to anyone in average physical condition.|Trying to scare us in order to sell their tour, pretending to be willing to help, was VERY DISHONEST. I had never experienced such dishonest behaviour in a hotel yet.||The hotel is a 15 mins drive away from Cemorolawang, and it is not possible to get taxis from there (no Grab nor Blue Bird), especially by night. So the only way was to ask the hotel to get a taxi for us. |The tour organiser from the Hotel refused to get us there if we didn't buy the full tour, thus forcing us to do so, as otherwise we'd be TRAPPED IN THIS ISOLATED PLACE. Thus we ended up paying 27€ each to escape the place.||In summary: terrible place, terrible food, and some dishonest people trying to scam you (most people working at the place were nice, I'm only refering to the guy who sells tours here). |TO BE AVOIDED AT ALL COST

Price was ok, but it has many downsides. We had a room with twin beds and private bathroom. The toilet leaked when flushed. The sink also leaked. Cold water only in private bathroom. Rooms were not sound resistant. All food had a 20% tax on advertised price. Wifi only available in central areas. Room was dark even with lights on. Only stay here if you're desperate for a place.

This hotel provides decent service with affordable price, but that's all the plus side, and unfortunately there are too many downsides. - small room without hot shower. - room is not soundproof, it gets very noisy during nightmare with their live music and road noise nearby. - Wifi only in dinner area. - location is not the closest to Mt. Bromo. - breakfast and dinner menu is very limited. - 20% tax and service charge for anything you order. - they tried to charge me 10.000 IDR for extra piece of blanket.

In some aspects it is just decent and okay, but in others not. The water is not working in one of the room I booked, one room doesn’t have a water thermos (heater), and one of the electricity socket doesn’t work. And they don’t give you toiletries. But overall it is still a nice place to stay with a good service and affordable price.

This hotel has a unique style and decoration, and I liked it. It feels natural. The owner of the hotel was very kind to me and my family. It felt like he always makes sure that all of his visitor feel welcomed. The restaurant has a mini stage for live music. Even though the location isn't near Mount Bromo directly, I really liked and enjoyed the time when I was in this hotel

Went during low season and it was not as bad as the reviews I read. Bed was decent and didn't stink, room was rather clean. Toilet in the room could be better but for a short stay it is fine. Hot shower is a couple of steps away.. Food at the hotel is also decent..
