Food was great but what really stood out was the service, top notch. Next time I’m in Osaka, I’ll be back.

If you like eel in any preparation, go get it done perfectly in every preparation. Wonderful staff and a nice, hidden location dating back to at least mid 20th-century. The pictures on the walls are from 1950.

Didn't book a table and went there in last minutes, I was lucky to had a taste. Simple set menu for lunch (grilled eel over rice with a choice of soup), staff are really friendly but can't speak English. There's kaisaki style option for dinner with more choices for food. Traditional Japanese building and atmosphere, if you're an eel lover, it's definitely worth to try

We went there randomly without reservation -- it's a bit hidden also. Looks like a very traditional restaurant from, both, the outside and inside. The staff does not speak english so placing an order was a bit difficult, but not a problem. The meal was great, we had a dish with eel (unagi). It is definitely located in the higher price range though and therefore seems good for special occasions.

No frills, just pure Unagi goodness.

Super nice and authentic food! The staff there are all very friendly and it's a good environment for dining there. Recommending booking in advance as it can get very busy during lunch hours.

Really enjoyed the eel at this delightful restaurant.

Yelp
Service 2 stars Food 3 stars The restaurant was still empty since I got there right after its opened. There were four waitresses basically just starting near me. But none of them checked on me or asked if I need my tea refilled. Their menu needs more details such as what is included in the course menu. The waitress seemed avoid explaining that to me, so I just ordered Unagi Bowl.
