It's the best hostel I have ever been. Very cozy pods, warm common room and kitchen. They have a mini movie theatre which was amazing. And cats, of course cats. They have 2 cats. Those two cats are the best cat in the world. I will surely miss them. Wasroom was so neat and clean. You will find funny party game sets here. If You're a solo traveller, this place worth a stay.

Amazing and welcoming hostel! The staff at Yote 28 were incredibly kind — they even let us stay and rest in the common areas after check-out, which we truly appreciated. The hostel has a great vibe, everything was clean, and the location is perfect. The only downside was that the bathroom and hallways were not air-conditioned, which made them feel a bit stuffy at times. Still, we had a great experience overall and would definitely recommend it. Highly recommend this place — thank you for everything!

Got lucky with quiet roommates—no snoring meant good sleep. The place was clean, though the room got a bit stuffy at times. AC works well in the rooms but not in common areas, which can be warm. Wifi worked fine. Location is convenient with a mall and food court nearby. City center is just a 5-10 minute walk. Solid choice for a budget stay.

BEST HOSTEL IN MALAYSIA. The dorms are perfect. Female only bathrooms are a dream. Good location to the town. Staff are so kind and helpful. Such a pleasure staying here. Will definitely return. Thank you :)

One of the nicest hostels I have ever stayed at!!! Everything was clean. The rooms are above the front desk/hang out area so if you go upstairs it is meant to be quiet. They offer ladies only dorms with the female only bathroom located on that floor. The men's or mixed dorms are located where the only male washroom was located. They have great WiFi. Hang out spot with video game consols, apple tv to watch whatever you enjoy. There was a piano in the lobby area with free clean COLD or hot water (not something you see often) also free snacks. Unfortunately the laundry machine was out of order when I was there but less than a 5min walk there is a local do your own laundry for the cheapest price I saw in melaka. Not only were the 3 beautiful cats great companions but the front desk staff was informative, friendly locals who knew the best places to go. Excellent hostel - one of the cleanest and best equipped I've been to. It seemed brand new, and everywhere was nicely furnished. The beds are in pods, which are comfy and feel nice and private. The bathroom was excellent, with a great hot shower. It wasn't the most sociable place, but there were good communal areas to hang out in. I only stayed for one night, so that wasn't an issue.

I booked through hostelworld since it has the cheapest price. I only stayed there for a few hours since I was visiting Melaka for a day trip only. My experience exceeded my expectation. Room was spacious, bathroom and toilet are spacious as well. The whole place smelled really nice. Staff were accommodating.

Pros: An affordable and beautifully designed dormitory located next to a huge mall, The individual bed is clean, comfortable and not squeaky. There are free decent sized lockers provided in the rooms. Hair/Body foam is provided. Sockets are available next to the bedside. We were brought to our beds during check in. Within 15 mins walk to Jonker Walk. Cons: No towels so remember to bring your own towel. Shoes have to be removed right at the doorstep. Shades are not blackout so light passes through when lights are turned on and it's see through so no privacy. Next door establishment is a family KTV so expect some singing past mid-night. The metal card operated lockers provide convenience at no cost but it's so noisy with the locking and unlocking mechanism. No house rules - people turn on the lights at 11 plus. Open bathroom - means more noise during bedtime. The constant room doors slamming shut creates more noise. There were tiny flies in the bathroom and the cushions are stained.
