I spent a week at YOTEL in Porto and had a great experience. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help. My room was very comfortable, clean, and quiet — I barely heard any noise from the street or other guests. Breakfast was delicious, offering a wide variety of pastries, fresh fruit, and juices. The hotel’s location is also excellent: about a 15-minute walk from the Ribeira area by the river. There are plenty of restaurants, cafés, and churches nearby. Iconic spots like the Lello Bookstore, the Imperial McDonald’s, and the Bolhão Market are all within walking distance. Keep in mind that Porto is a hilly city, so you should be ready for some uphill walks. The hotel also has a gym if you prefer to exercise indoors, and a restaurant for dinner. Overall, YOTEL Porto is a great choice for anyone looking to explore the city’s main attractions while enjoying comfort and modern amenities.

Great overall experience! The Hotel itself is quite different from your traditional hotel and we found it very enjoyable. The rooms were spacious, well designed, meticulously cleaned and with a great view - I highly suggest the room with a view. The entire staff (Front Desk, Restaurant and Housekeeping) were very friendly and helpful at all times and always with a genuine smile. Breakfast was also a plus with great quality and plenty of choices which allowed us for a great start to our days in Porto.|Dinned once at their Vela Restaurant - dishes were very tasteful, well prepared, nice ambience and service.|Surely a place to recommend and return once again in Porto!!

Very disappointing stay — uncomfortable, noisy, and poorly managed Review: My stay at this hotel in Porto was unfortunately a very negative experience. Unfriendly staff / poor service: The receptionists were not welcoming and seemed unprofessional. Requests were met with little care or attention. Room amenities missing: No slippers, no toiletries kit, and nothing to make the stay more comfortable. Uncomfortable bed: The bed was very bad and made it difficult to get proper rest. Faulty technology in the room: The motion sensor system was terrible — even if someone was inside the room, the electricity and AC would shut off automatically. This made the stay extremely inconvenient and frustrating. Lighting issues: The room lights were poorly designed and uncomfortable to use. Very noisy at night: The hotel was loud during the night, making it almost impossible to sleep. Overall, this hotel failed on all the basics of comfort, service, and design. I would not recommend staying here unless major improvements are made. And for me is worst 4 star hotel I have stayed

Hi, The hotel was new, clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly. We stayed for five days.Everything was fine except for a small adjustment from the end of the holiday.|| The key card stopped working, breakfast was paid in advance but it was not known at the restaurant. The city taxes were paid on the day of arrival but it was settled on the day of departure.|| I still recommend the hotel. Very good and good atmosphere

Location is great! I just felt that since the hotel is a 4 star, there would be a bit more thought put into it. The breakfast really felt old, the hash browns were a day old at least, it didn't feel fresh. Same goes for the pastries, they weren't fresh as they usually are in higher star hotels. Also to note - we slept on some sort of a sofa bed which was SO creaky, not a bad bed necessarily, just not 4 star worthy in my opinion. The service however was great, they were very nice at the desk. Keep in mind - there isn't much parking and they might ask you to park at a public parking that is about a 5-10 min walk away

The location is very convenient, close to the historical centre and well connected by metro Trindad. The rooms are of reasonable size. The facilities are on modern design style. Unfortunately, not everything works well: doors to bath and toilet are not closing perfectly. When you take shower, the water flows under the bed. There is almost no space for luggage. The organisation of breakfast is a disaster. Customers have to wait in a long line while the stuff is slowly checking room numbers. Stay in this hotel only if you don’t find anything better!

Check in was easy and the staff was friendly. If you speak English they are able to easily assist you. My issue is mainly with the room and the lighting. Whoever cleaned the room did a minimal job as the bathroom smelled like piss and there was urine all over the seat. There is no separate area for the bathroom. I also booked my room for two people but the bed was so small and uncomfortable. I’m 5ft and my partner is 5’9 so if you’re tall or need extra space, go somewhere else. The lights were annoying because the mirror light faces the bed and you can’t turn off the light. The mood lighting cannot be adjusted to be anything other than a color or which after a while, it gets annoying. Thankfully the noise wasn’t bad. The elevator is also super tiny and slow which makes it a headache to get in/out. The morning breakfast was also pretty sad. They charge you 19 euros for basic cold buffet food. A lot of places don’t open early so plan ahead if you can.

Good size room. Adjustable bed. Large tv. “Modern” space saving glass bathroom so if you’re with a friend it may be an issue otherwise not sure why people complain. It’s Europe so it’s all close quarters… Check in desk service - one happy girl and one grumpy, if you don’t like your job then change it. Room tag showed coffee and tea but none in the room except for a kettle. Don’t waste your money on coffee from the vending machine in the lobby. Parking. Use the silo one and prepay for in and out privileges.
