"French Cuisine with an Asian Twist Entering YOU restaurant, with its slick black and maroon décor, is as memorable as the first mouthful. The culinary journey - found at the Kameha Grand Zurich , 10 minutes from the airport - fuses elegant French cuisine with a twist of Far East Asia. A six-course menu at this Michelin-starred restaurant could begin with a piquant gruyere foam and zesty wasabi and tuna bites. Following courses span from Norwegian lobster to codfish with white asparagus and US prime beef with fermented silver onions, sweet potato, and spinach sauce. Highly knowledgeable waiters present accompanying wines, but the highlight lies with the elegant and smooth Urakasumi Sake, originating from the finest rice fields in Japan. Note: YOU opens Tuesday to Saturday and a reservation should be made. In early 2016, YOU restaurant, which has also earned 15 Gault Millau points, introduced a unique couple’s package whereby celebrity mind reader Tobias Heinemann predicts what you desire on your culinary experience. By simply holding your hand, Mr. Heinemann can unlock the feelings between you and a loved one. This experience includes an overnight stay at the Kameha Grand Zurich Hotel with breakfast, spa treatments and airport pick up in a Maserati."

Yelp
Oh, what could have been... Restaurant L'Unico should provide a heaven on earth dining experience... it has all the makings of a great restaurant! However, delivery fails start to finish! For an expensive "fine dining" spot, this place does not deliver. Avoid at all costs! Let's begin with the location and our waiter, Alfred. It's a "non-smoking" hotel, but is reminiscent of the 80s in the US when they placed smokers right next to the "non-smoking section." There is a smoker's lounge on the first floor of the hotel, which makes the entire floor reek like an ashtray (think casino!). There are dozens of guests smoking just outside the doors, including the restaurant, which pumps even more cigarette smoke into first floor and the dining room! Disgusting way to eat, none of the food or wine tastes right in a smoke-laced room. The hotel allows a minority of guests to ruin the restaurant for most diners. Alfred, a smoker, greeted us reeking of smoke... 1/2 a table away, it was nauseating! Which also likely explains his prolonged absences from our table, outside on a smoking break! Service abominable... it took 90 minute after we finished our entrees to get dessert and the check. The host serviced most tables around us, one diner simply got up and left. Let's mention food. Asparagus soup was good, as was the house salad. The risotto was very undercooked, which was one whole dish plus side at our table. The veal saltimbocca was cooked well, but quite salty. The red wine was served room temperature, obviously not cared for in a climate controlled atmosphere! Ice cream for dessert was mediocre, the chocolate ice cream tasted freezer burned, and was only 1/2 a scoop. The restaurant could be great. But, management has to step up and deliver the "smoke free" hotel promised in all its advertising. If you're a smoker, this place is for you. For non-smokers, the hotel and restaurant fails miserably. We're here several more days, but definitely will not dine at this place again! Do not dine here if you want a quality meal in a "smoke free" environment!

Yelp
Decent restaurant just outside of downtown Zurich with a pretty neat menu and a very nice cocktail selection. The menu is quite substantial complete with a nice selection of meats, including delicious aged beef and a large homemade pasta menu which you essentially pick the sauce and pair it with the pasta. The restaurant itself was actually nicely decorated and had a pretty good ambiance but the food and service honestly fell a bit short. The pasta was decent, but it was honestly a small portion and a bit bland. The service was below average as well as I had to wait quite a bit of time before greeted and once seated the server seemed disinterested... Overall, great location and decor but not all that great of a dinner experience. Pros- Ambiance Location Presentation Decor Meat case Great cocktail selection Homemade pasta Bread dipping sauces Cons- Very average food Below average service Waited approx 10 mins before being greeted and shown to table (wasn't busy at all) Small portions

Yelp
Great restaurant at the Kameha Grand Hotel in Zurich. It is a good to very good breakfast option for hotel guests (great quality, but not a huge selection), but for lunch and dinner, it is exceptional. The style at lunch/dinner is Italian, with a focus on quality ingredients and authentic preparation, with great Swiss-style presentation. I've never before had salt and pepper ground at the table on a mortar/pestle, but it was a nice touch. The "espresso menu option" is a very good value and quick service for people working nearby, too. A soup, appetizer, main dish, and dessert, in somewhat smaller than usual but still adequate portion sizes, is a great way to sample the menu, for about CHF 30. (Incidentally, a small tray of supermarket-style sushi in Zurich/Zug is the same price at the train station.)

Yelp
We had an early dinner here on a friday. Very attentive waiters and a good selection on the menu. I thought the prices were reasonable. I had a small portion of the tagliatelle pasta with a aglio garlic sauce. It was cooked perfect and tasted wonderful. I also had a soup. I cant remember the name but i posted a pic. My husband took the recommendation of the chef and had Osso Bucco, safron risotto and some pasta. Perfect. We liked the atmosphere also.

Yelp
In general a Good Place to go, but let's go through slowly: - The service was almost perfect from A to Z: Competent, patient, flexible, friendly and professional. The only thing is that our glasses staid more than once empty, even after the waiter passed in our table: If we didn't ask, they didn't poor. - The Menu had a lot of options but from the beginning, nothing that really called our (we were three) attention as "WOW! I wanna eat that!". We were expecting loads of choices (at least on sauces) - When we finally found something and ordered, the food came quite fast with no delay but the main course (home made pasta) was too simple (no decoration, nothing: just pasta and sauce). It tasted good but nothing reeeealy special, just... pasta with a good sauce. Conclusion: It was too expensive for what it served. You find as good as food for less in the middle of Zurich. But definitely worth for trying something different once. If you don't enter there with high expectations, you might leave a satisfied customer...

Yelp
Very authentic Italian cuisine by a very talented and passionate chef. I urge you to try their home made pasta. I personally have a weakness for bolognese so having tried his was truly one of the best ones I have had. I enjoyed and highly recommend. ......

Yelp
Really authentic Italian restaurant with lively atmosphere and good frequented also by local guests. The food was exceptional! I had the homemade pasta with truffle, which was fantastic. Luigi, one of the team, came to our table, with the pasta in a grana padano cheese form and prepered and served it just in front of us. The cannolo as dessert was a perfect closure of the meal. The cannolo tasted exactly as the one made in Sicily.

Yelp
L'Unico is "el ultimo" place you should go. We went for dinner and the food, wine, and Bloody Mary we ordered were "blah." That's the best way to describe it. Definitely, nothing to write home about. Actually, there is something you'll write home about (if you can afford a pen and paper after dining here): the massive bill! If you still choose to dine here, there is one thing to look forward to: the service -- it was excellent, but that's it! Unfortunately, nothing else.
