The food was above average — every dish we tried was delicious. We made our reservation the day before, but at 3 p.m. on the same day, the restaurant called to inform us that we needed to pay a $20 deposit per person and pre-order our meals. The payment could only be made via PayNow, not by credit card, which was a bit inconvenient. When we arrived, we were seated right away. We had chosen an indoor table, but unfortunately, there was no air conditioning, and it was extremely hot. The staff tried to help but couldn’t resolve the issue. Another thing that left me disappointed was the service during dinner. Our reservation was at 7 p.m., and we requested for the food to be served at 7:10 p.m. Around 8 p.m., an Indian waitress began clearing the tables even though there were still 11 of us at the table and one person hadn’t finished eating yet. The rest of us were just chatting. She politely asked before clearing, but the constant interruptions made us feel like we were being rushed to leave — even though there were no customers waiting for tables. If there is a dining time limit, I think the restaurant should inform customers when collecting the deposit or upon arrival. Personally, I don’t think 1.5 hours is too long, and in our case, we had been there for less than an hour. Overall, while the food was great, the prepayment process and the rushed service affected the dining experience.

Went with my friend on Saturday, cozy environment & surprisingly not crowded at all. Very friendly service staffs…. Suitable for families & friends gathering & chill … Food was nice & has variety of drinks too. You can walk around The Oval after food … sunset is beautiful…

Nice and cosy restaurant. Not expensive for food and there is a live band, the vocal of the lady is fantastic. The server are super attentive. Love the place.

I'm amazed there's not more people coming here. But probably cos it's a weekday night. Food is fantastic and service was prompt. Food came out super fast too. Definitely a bookmark place to come back to.

Made a reservation to dine there for my dad's birthday. Wait for the food was ok as we did not wait too long, but it was also not too crowded at that time. I would give high marks for their food, their steaks are excellent, even the sides are delicious. My mum had the seabass which was also very good. My dad had the chicken, the breast meat part was a bit dry. Overall environment is also cosy, though the music was blasted too loudly. Service staff was not attentive though, they are friendly but we need to really get their attention. Empty plates are not cleared before they serve the dessert, and we even have to ask for cutlery and plates for sharing. As I was walking out after finishing my dinner, one of the staff made a tsk sound at me for blocking his way instead of allowing me to pass through.

Nice and cosy restaurant. Not crowded for Sunday brunch. The staffs were friendly and attentive, explaining to us some of the speciality food like the baby potato and the pasta :)

We booked a surprise birthday dinner for my son at YOUNGS on Saturday night, 29th November. Everyone was excited, and we arrived on time, ready to celebrate together. With a promising menu, we were all looking forward to a wonderful evening. My husband and daughter ordered the meat platter, the birthday boy chose the half grilled chicken, his girlfriend ordered a spaghetti dish, and I decided on a pizza and a mushroom soup. My daughter also topped up an order of truffle fries for the table. Sadly, the disappointment began as soon as the food arrived. Apart from the pizza and the truffle fries—which were at least decent—every other dish was either bland or tasteless. The mushroom soup tasted like plain water, and the meat platter, grilled chicken, and spaghetti all lacked flavour. Everyone at the table fell silent, staring at each other in disbelief before sharing that we all felt exactly the same way. What made this even more surprising was that I had visited the restaurant last year, and the food was perfectly fine then. This year, however, the standard has dropped so drastically that it felt like a completely different place. For a dinner meant to celebrate a special birthday, this was truly disappointing. Based on this experience, I definitely will not be recommend YOUNGS to any of my friends surely and for me or my family, we will definitely will not visit again!

Stafff are nice and polite . Otherwise I will only give 1 star. Instead of spend money to put so much advertisement, maybe you should spend money to upgrade ur chef. Went for their Sunday semi-buffet, they don’t even have their signature beef burger on menu. Food are really not nice, especially kids meal. If only the buffet spread food is not nice, we still can accept, but even their main also cannot make it. Salmon and pasta don’t have any seasoning, not even salt. I will NEVER go back to this place again.
