The food was above average — every dish we tried was delicious.
We made our reservation the day before, but at 3 p.m. on the same day, the restaurant called to inform us that we needed to pay a $20 deposit per person and pre-order our meals. The payment could only be made via PayNow, not by credit card, which was a bit inconvenient.
When we arrived, we were seated right away. We had chosen an indoor table, but unfortunately, there was no air conditioning, and it was extremely hot. The staff tried to help but couldn’t resolve the issue.
Another thing that left me disappointed was the service during dinner. Our reservation was at 7 p.m., and we requested for the food to be served at 7:10 p.m. Around 8 p.m., an Indian waitress began clearing the tables even though there were still 11 of us at the table and one person hadn’t finished eating yet. The rest of us were just chatting. She politely asked before clearing, but the constant interruptions made us feel like we were being rushed to leave — even though there were no customers waiting for tables.
If there is a dining time limit, I think the restaurant should inform customers when collecting the deposit or upon arrival. Personally, I don’t think 1.5 hours is too long, and in our case, we had been there for less than an hour.
Overall, while the food was great, the prepayment process and the rushed service affected the dining experience.
