I have visited DC almost a dozen of times. Last March we took our middle school students to show them our country’s capital. Tony was our tour guide. We (the organizers and students) enjoyed our tour with Tony. He is very knowledgeable, kind, respectful, and flexible. He tailored the tour to our need and showed a great deal of passion to what he does. We very much enjoyed his companionship and definitely will setup all our future trips to DC with him. What a great man!

Tony was an outstanding guide for my high school choir’s trip to DC! He has a love and passion for DC’s rich history and legacy - Tony did an excellent job of highlighting the best DC has to offer. He’s also a great guy and the kind of person you’d want to be friends with. We loved our experience in DC with Tony and can’t recommend him highly enough!

Tony is an incredible Tour Guide. He is passionate about what he does, to the extent that you feel immersed in the experience. During our tour (and for days after!), I felt that I was living through every period Tony walked me through on the Tour. He is a great storyteller; his narration of history is so rich with quotes, examples, and real context. Like a museum curator, DC with Tony is like a beautiful exhibit: carefully laid out, artistic, and historically preserved for generations to come. Thank you Tony - I will forever cherish DC because of you..

I’ve been bringing my 5th graders to Washington DC for over 20 years. The most memorable year was when we had Tony as our guide. His interaction with my students was outstanding. His keen knowledge about DC, his nuturing personality and his attentive style kept my students completely engaged. He’s an amazing problem solver with a fast and outstanding wit. Simply put; we just loved him.

I am a motor coach driver, who visits DC several times a year. Over the years I have had many step on guides. And though I’ve had some very good ones, Tony Spadafora is the best by far. His knowledge of DC, and it’s history is second to none. Not only will you learn the history of DC, you’ll be entertained as well. Tony is the best!! Bar none!!

Tony Spadafora is a knowledgeable, conscientious and experienced city guide, with a reputation for originality in his approach. In addition to guiding groups of visitors to our city as a professional guide, Tony has volunteered for many years with the United States Capitol Historical Society, providing commentary for our program for public school students in the District of Columbia; he has contributed some original commentary for our eighth grade programs. We are pleased to recommend Tony as an outstanding tour guide.  Steve Livengood, Public Programs Director United States Capitol Historical Society

I've been on a couple of tours that Tony gave and he was engaging, informative and knew how to make history come alive. It's obvious he loves what he does as he imparts his knowledge with so much enthusiasm. Not only that, he's great with people of all ages and has the ability to gauge what his audience wants. I highly recommend you seek him out to be your guide.
