Great stay here. Location is excellent, 10 min walk into city centre, and right opposite the bus station. The staff were lovely and the rooms were perfect with AC, balcony and lots of luggage space. Breakfast was also great :)

I think its the only cheap option to stay in bolzano and that is enough reason to stay here. Even in the dolomites, this is one of the very few cheap options. That being said, location is great, right next to bus and train stations, walking distance from old town, super close to ritten-renon funicular. Female only dorms are available. Rates are fixed. Booking is via email. Coming to problems: charging. Firstly, no charging next to beds. Even when this is considered, although there are 4 charging points in 4 person rooms, only 2 can work at a time. I think this is the biggest flaw. Another problem is the shower which automatically switches off. Or maybe, i wasn't able to operate the shower correctly. Other than this, cons would be sound from bus station. There is no curtain for bunks and so bring your eye mask and ear plugs. The pillow is not the comfiest either. Idk if towels available for rent or not. I had my own towel and so did the girls who stayed in my room. You cannot cook your meals but there is fridge in common space. On the plus side, i would say pretty clean, friendly staff, okay breakfast (not great but enough), good mattress, very spacious lockers, easy booking, great price for this region. I also liked shower and toilets being completely seperate. This helped a lot when shared by 4 people. There is a garden which is nice. There is both AC and heater at this price point which is great.

The hostel is very close to the train station, the 3-person room was spacious and clean. The staff was super helpful in the booking process, we were arriving after 7 pm and they accommodated that so we could enter by ourselves. Also, we could book the 3-person room for 2 people which was very nice. I also liked the breakfast, nothing fancy but enough to choose from (multiple kinds of bread, yoghurt, tea/coffee, milk, several bread toppings). The road/trains can be a bit loud, so don’t forget to use ear plugs if you are sensitive to that.

The hostel's location is fantastic. Easy walk to take the cable car that goes to Ritten and many buses that go to many places in the region. Hostel provides fresh linen that we have to lay ourselves - 👍🏻👍🏻 it is also quite value for money. Thankfully there's such a hostel around 🥳

Stayed here for 2 nights and it was a good experience. Hostel is very near the train and bus station. We had a room facing the bus station, wasn't noisy. The room was alright, clean, decent size, with free breakfast (minimalist type). My only issue is the shower pressure. It was really really dreadful. It could be only our room, on the 3rd floor. Otherwise, will not hesitate to recommend this hostel for its price and location.

Terrible experience. I've never been to a youth hostel before where I was turned away because I arrived 10 minutes after 7pm, where they "close their computer" and can accept no more bookings. Impossible to reason with the receptionist who was adamant that I had to find somewhere else, and that it was impossible to simply check in tomorrow? I had cycled from Vienna to get here, and along the way was met with nothing but warmth. That is, until here, where I got the cold shower of dehumanization. The spirit of the youth hostel should be to welcome and accommodate travellers, especially those one long journeys. Clearly not the case for this hostel.

Same as Jack, they aren't Italians but German, if you arrived late then their working time, the remaining staff will simply refuse to let you in for the night and pay next morning. Very bad experience

The location is very good, but the street is very loud and cars and trains horn a lot so thats the trade off. Also the price is ok but the AC is not useful at all, since it is fixed to certain temperatures that were too hot for me. In general, you can get quickly to the main transportation for a good price, but I'd not say you will sleep very well.
