Youth Hostel

Stayed there 1 night with a friend of mine. At first it looked nice, we were able to leave our bags in a locker the entire day while exploring the city. Then we came back, guy at the reception was clearly annoyed to work there. He gave us no information about anything. Had to give a 3€ deposit for the key of the room. If you want a towel it’s 10€ deposit but they only give you back 5 😂 So you pay 5€ a towel you gonna use 1 time. You have to make your bed (doesn’t matter if you are checking in at 13:00 or at 02:00 - which is possible because of the 24/7 reception). And of course, you have to remove your bedsheets when you leave. Breakfast included, but breakfast is the bare minimum (quite bad). And cherry on the cake: we came to the room at 21:30, windows were open, it was cold in the room (it’s been -1 all day outside so you can imagine how great it was to enter the room with the windows open). 35€ for the night - I’ve been to 100+ hostels, this is one of my worst experience. Not coming back next time I’m visiting Luxembourg.

The ratio quality price is amazing. Central and safe location, bus stop only 2minutes away. The restaurant also makes acceptable food, for 13 euro/menu of the day, the quantity and options is not bad and acceptable. The rooms are clean, the employees are nice. It's not a 5 stars hotel, but it's a 5 stars Hostel.

It's arguably worth the price. Not so far from centre or public transport. Only the hike is 😂😂 In a 4 bed room (2bunkbed) is quite small but still enough. And it's clean. That's a plus point. So clean even the bathroom and shower inside the room. It has beautiful scenery from the window, stop-contact to charge your device. I advise bring a little lock for the cupboard (i happened to bring one and it's quite handy, i can enjoy my travel without my baggages. They are safe inside the cupboard. In the middle of the night came the other traveler. I was a light sleeper so i woke up but thank god she was also nice and mindful. And free breakfast is quite useful because in Luxemburg everything is expensive except free public transport hehe. Bring contant money €3 for key deposit.

The location of the hostel is great. I came here from the train station by free bus. The price is very affordable with free breakfast and coffee. However, I think I was not lucky as two roommates were snoring all night. And I could not sleep at all. My stay would have been so much better if I could have a quiter room. But it is for sure not the hostel's fault. The door is very near the first bed, so when someone enters the room, it makes lots of noise.

We came for a two-day vacation and chose this place because of the affordable price. The location is great, the breakfast service was also very sufficient. We also had dinner at the restaurant and were very pleased there too

I’m pleased I stayed here! The place was very good value overall and the breakfast was good. They also have decent dinner options if you fancied to eat at the hostel one evening. The rooms were clean but I found it odd they didn’t provide ‘hand wash’ soap in the room toilets.

I loved being there.. I made new friends and had a lot of photos around the hostel as it has nice views at walkable distances. I am happy to say that there were not too much of racism issues that I face in other places.. breakfast was nice

I had a very disappointing experience at this hostel. On my second day, I arrived 7 minutes late for breakfast at 9:07 AM and took some bread and Nutella. A staff member rudely told me to put the bread back and used inappropriate language toward me. Such unprofessional and disrespectful behavior is completely unacceptable. I do not recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a welcoming and respectful environment.
