This wasn’t just a hostel stay — it was a moment of genuine kindness I’ll never forget.
Out of all the cities and countries I’ve traveled to, I’ve often found myself in stressful situations — and this time, I thought I’d miss my bus on Christmas day because public transport wasn’t running. I had no idea, but the staff at the hostel noticed I was unfamiliar with the city and gently explained everything. They told me they could help arrange a taxi if needed. I was already panicking, trying to find one on my own, and was about to give up. Then, without hesitation, they stepped in — not just with help, but with warmth, reassurance, and even gave me money for the bus fare just in case I missed it.
It may sound small, but in that moment, their kindness meant everything. After so many stressful travel experiences, this place felt like a pause — a breath. Somewhere I finally felt safe and supported.
Also, the hostel itself is amazing: the rooms are clean, and the bathroom was honestly the cleanest I’ve ever seen in a hostel. But more than that — it was the people that made it unforgettable.
