We stayed in a few youth hostels on our bikepacking trip, including this one. This was the cheapest we stayed in but also didn't include towels unlike most other youth hostels nowadays. They can be booked extra for 4€ a towel. Our two bed room was on the 5th floor, which contrary to what one might think did not come with beautiful views of the mountains but a tiny floor level window that could barely be opened and a skylight window (there was an AC though in fairness). The ceiling height was around 1,40-1,80m with a big protruding beam I hit my head on twice getting out of bed. It felt very claustrophobic. Also, the elevator stops working at 7pm for "security reasons" which only added to our frustrations with our room. Checkout was early at 9am and people come to check if you've cleared out the room even though they don't start cleaning them for hours after. Breakfast was okay for one day, no eggs or anything special. If the room hadn't been so tiny and claustrophobic, I'd have given four stars.
