Youth Hostel Remerschen

Rooms are larger than the other youth hostels I have been in. Breakfast was nice. Quiet peaceful place. Nice staffs. The only problem I faced was "racism" from other customers. One lady staying in another room saw me in the corridor and immediately said, ah there are indians here that's why so much noise last night.. and the noises she talked about was not from my room but most probably from rooms of children around. Another similar issue, with one roommate who most probably has issues with people of my skin colour..as soon as she saw me, she started to make as if she was so desperate for fresh air etc.. she even shouted at me and said I must not use my phone to call in her presence... 😏 well these things happen to people of minority. Nothing to do with the hostel but it's about mindset. Overall I can say it's a good place to stay. Just ignore what is to be ignored.

Beautiful, clean building. Really helpful staff. Some of the basics left me disappointed though. The deal breaker for me (and may not apply to rooms with balcony) is very little airflow (only one medium sized crackable window) + no ac / fans meant a very hot night. Small nitpicks: toilets in room is nice but to not provide soap for hand washing because it's the "hostel spirit" seems unsanitary to me. Having an ability to prepare my own food seems like it would be in the hostel spirit but there isn't any communal cooking options either due to restaurant.

This hostel was great, the area a little far but beautiful and lots of wineries around. The staff were so nice, rooms were clean, and breakfast was good. You can take transit, I used bus 412/413 and 432.

We enjoyed our stay at the Youth Hostel in Remerschen. Great location in the south of the Moselle region with a bus stop right in front of it. You can easily take free transportation to Schengen in the south or more up north. Along the way you will pass by many wine yards, beautiful! The hostel staff is super friendly and the common spaces and rooms were clean and offered basic comfort. Would just recommend the hostel to put curtains next to the beds and to offer fruit for breakfast as well.

Was here in the Melting Pot Restaurant for lunch. the place is nice it was crowded at the time of my arrival , the staff are welcoming and smiling i asked for the menu and ordered the daily dish. it was served in no time i also had a soup prior to the main dish i had Gyros de Poulet with fries it was good , well presented and tasty amd for the desserta they offer mandarine cake also very nice. a recommended place *****

Located near the Schengen touristy attractions on the luxembourgish-german-french border, this hostel is a very solid sleeping option in the area. I stayed here for one night. I got in a room of 5 but i was lucky the room was all empty for the night. The furniture is a bit old but it’s affordable. Bed linen are provided for you set upon your bed. you have to remove them before you leave and drop them in their dedicated spot. There are no towels or shampoo wich is expected for a hostel… I especially liked the quiet surrounding, i slept well. The church nearby waked me up just on time, at 6:00am. Free wifi. Breakfast starts late at 7:30 and is not very rich however it was just enough for me. Staff are extremely friendly. The lady who checked me in was very nice, she even led me to my room wich was in the connected building next door. Overall good place for a short stay. Does the job. Recommended 👍🏻

I stayed here for two nights. The rooms are spacious, complimentary breakfast is good, WiFi works well. There are wonderful views of the vineyards from the hotel balcony. There are places to explore nearby with the Biodiversity Park not far away.

Beautiful youth hostel with a very convenient location. It's right by the Remerschen, Al Schoul stop and thus makes it very easy to reach the hostel. The breakfast, which is included in the reservation, is minimal but decent with a selection of bread, cheese and ham.
