Youth hostel

This is a clean, safe, welcoming and friendly hostel close to the center of Cherbourg. Since its very quiet in November,I even got the 4 person room all to myself, quite a luxury! Each bed has some cubbies/ storage area and place to plug in your phone. The shared rooms also have a shower (the bathroom is not in the room but it's very close). There was a kitchen with some basic appliances, and the breakfast was very nice: coffee, tea, toast, baguette, juices and cereals.

Nice place. The personal is friendly and helpful, speak English . There are tidy kitchen, you can cook for yourself, rooms are good and tidy. Breakfast is continental : tea/coffe,milk, small things. Its good choice: price and serivce . I recommend this place apparently.

This Youth Hostel is a really pleasant location to stay. It is one of the nicer hostels I have experienced. It was warm and cozy with a decent self catering kitchen. Breakfast was included which was basic, but I felt good value considering how much the room cost. I supplemented it with a Pain Au Chocolat from a Boulangerie nearby! 20 min walk to SNCF Rail Station, 25 minute walk to Ferry Port. 5 min walk to town centre. Cité De La Mer attraction was really worth a visit - especially the submarine.||||Check Reception Hours before arrival, as you will not get in when Reception is closed.

I'm from Ukraine. We, a family of 5, were received warmly and warmly at this hotel. We spent the night and ate for free here. Great place, nice people. And France is the most beautiful place on earth!👏🏻

I missed two ferries so I've stayed all over Cherbourg - and this place is the best. It's the cheapest place to stay, it has the best 'vibe,' and the staff are absolutely amazing! So kind! Thank you to the team who work there!

There was dog hair in the food lul

Expensive, seems slightly run down and a bit dirty.
