We’ve traveled to around 50 countries worldwide, and this accommodation was by far the worst. You pay nearly 100 Euros (~£85) a night, then they charge an extra 2 Euros per towel. Ridiculous! On arrival at 1 pm, we were told check-in was at 3 pm, which would be understandable if they were cleaning and preparing the room during that time. However, at 3 pm we were handed a pile of bed sheets and pillowcases and told to make our own beds. As shown in the attached photos, the mattresses were more suited for school gym classes, and the pillows were worn out and uncomfortable—definitely not ideal for your neck. The bathroom was smaller than those found in train sleeping carriages. There was no TV, and nothing about the accommodation justified the 100 Euros/night price. When I asked via email what justified the cost, their response was laughable: we were "in the heart of the capital of Europe." We come from the capital of UK, London, where you get true value for money. Or just a week ago, we stayed at a fully-equipped, quiet Holiday Inn in Germany for £52 a night, and THAT was value for money. Last year we had a great room in a SPA hotel in Amsterdam and paid the same amount.... Avoid this hostel at all costs!

Decent hostel with the decent pricing, the staff was friendly and receptionist explained what to visit and helped me on the first booking of the train. The location is a bit off, but you will get trains/busses to the central with a 4min walk

Yes the rooms are clean good location and polite staff. Only one issue a towel charge is very minor but still its the little things at times.

The beds and the bathroom is designed for a person that is 170cm tall. If you are a tall person, this hotel is gonna be a nightmare for you. Also beds arent beds, they are just very long dish cleaning sponge. So called the bathroom is like 0.5m2. You also have to do your bed sheets and blankets. Breakfast is also horrible. There was a night stand table light between the two beds, which can not be plugged in because there were no outlets. Just stay away. Been in much better hotels and hostels for less money. This isnt it.

Very cheap option to stay at the center of Brussels. We stayed as 2 friends and our room had a private bathroom which is very comfortable for us. Also the breakfast was sufficiently good.

Our stay at this hostel was satisfactory. Although we had modest expectations, our accommodation was decent, allowing us to rest comfortably for the night in Brussels before continuing our travels. Finding lodging in the city was challenging, so we researched extensively before deciding on this hostel due to its relatively affordable price and good location. After a day of sightseeing and dining in the city center, we arrived at the hostel late in the evening, a 30-40 minute walk from where we were. The hostel is situated in a relatively quiet area in northern Brussels. The reception was not exceptionally welcoming and warm, but they provided systematic information, which we appreciated. We stayed in a private room with two single beds with a bathroom inside. The single beds were quite small and the mattress quality was low, making for an uncomfortable stay (if it’s for over multiple nights). Interestingly, guests are required to set up their own bed linens and pillows, and return them to the laundry bin upon checkout. This self-service system was new to us and a bit cumbersome but provided a unique experience 😂 The room was larger and cleaner than expected. The bathroom, though small and exactly like an airplane lavatory, was still acceptable for private use. Breakfast, included with the stay, was a plus, but the options were quite basic and not particularly varied at all (cereal, coffee machine, a few types of ham, jam, and bread, we got another snack in the city afterwards) A minor issue occurred when, despite check-out being at 11 AM, a staff member knocked and entered our room around 9 AM without prior notice, which was a downside…omg. Overall, while the service level was not high, the hostel’s affordability, clean accommodations, and good location merit a positive rating.

Clean modern building with lovely garden at the back. Friendly staff! Surprisingly good breakfast with a coffee machine. But super hot and stuffy. Windows open but you will be blown away by the street noise. Be sure not to stay at the front of the hotel. So noisy! Shouting and laughing until 1am, racing motorbikes and cars slamming doors all night. So hot and stuffy. Why not supply fans or install air conditioning?

We checked in with a friend for a day. Of course, I understand that this is not a hotel, but I had to pay for the towels. But this is not the most important thing. Board games were played all night on the floor below us. Maybe billiards or something else. It was a nightmare!!! We couldn't sleep all night. I wanted to go and punch these players in the face. I will never stay in this hostel again.
