Youth Hostel

We visited Malmedy and its surroundings with 6 adults and 7 children aged 4-10. The staff was friendly, attentive, while the rooms were clean with modern bathroom equipment. Breakfast was good with lots of options, even considering gluten- and lactose-free options.

We had a very nice experience in this youth hostel. The staff is very friendly and the accommodation is clean and pleasant. The buffet is quite extensive with soup, salad bar, main course of the day and dessert. Each room is equipped with its own separate shower and separate toilet. However, these are not made for big people ... it is a youth hostel that focuses on children and young people. The bar is cozy and has a pool table and a lounge. Outside you will find a sports field and a real climbing tower. For other activities you will have to walk a bit. In short, everything clean and complete.

Very happy with my stay here! A great stop for cyclists enjoying the area: locked/covered bike storage, possible to reserve to eat dinner on site, comfy living room area with nice fire place, good rooms, lovely staff! There is a cycling path leading almost all the way from Malmedy to the hostel.

The hostel is located in a great place. Very good access. The proximity of the Ardennes. Rooms typical for summer camps or sports camps, but quite spacious. Besides, the hostel with all facilities is designed to accommodate large camps or sports groups. Breakfast good and you can eat yourself. A great option for travelers and visitors.

Easy to find, free parking, helpful staff. Great communications prior to our visit. ||They provided an excellent evening meal for 8 euros (homemade lasagne - very nice). The bar was well stocked and cost approx 2eu for a bottled beer. ||Our 4 bedded room was a little cramped but perfectly ok. There was a shower and toilet en-suite. ||Breakfast was more than adequate. ||The only downside is that the town is some distance away so transport is necessary if you want to get out in the evening. ||All in all a very good place to stay at very Reasonable cost.

Big hostel, around the hotel are plenty to do. Hotel it self as wel. Breakfast is just fine,not much combination.Helpful receptionist. Rooms are very small, w.c. Smell bad, shower to small for 4 person. Big in picture. Beds are ok. Make yourself bed.

The rooms, beds were very clean. The staff really friendly. They have check-in till 22.00. Cafe open till 23.00ish. Decent, healthy breakfast. There were quite a few indoor game options in the lounge area. Suitable for families as well as group of youngsters. Very close to hiking trails in the Ardennes. Highly recommend! Just that, parking space at late evening can be inadequate if there are too many guests.

Pleasant place to stay. Friendly staff. Large common areas. Clean bedding is provided. Breakfast is provided from 8:00 so you will miss it if starting early but it looks like you can get a coffee.
