I stayed at the Youth Hostels Association of India and overall had a decent experience. The place is budget-friendly and good for solo travelers or students. Walk-in rooms are usually available, which makes it quite convenient for last-minute stays. The rooms are simple, clean, and well-maintained for the price.
However, the food quality was quite disappointing. Meals are basic and not very tasty, so it’s better to eat outside if you’re looking for good options.
The staff members were polite and helpful, and the atmosphere felt safe and peaceful. Overall, it’s a good place for short stays and backpackers who don’t mind simple facilities — just don’t expect much from the food.
⭐ Rating: 3.8 / 5
✅ Pros: Budget-friendly, walk-in rooms available, safe and clean
⚠️ Cons: Food not good, limited facilities, common toilets
