Yujo Izakaya

I am always up for going to Yujo. Please note that it's on the higher side in terms of costs but so worth it!! From the bento box to the sauces, I always look forward to my next visit. Do not forget to try their Tiramisu version. It's a must-have. Side note: Ask if the noodles are cold or hot. My dinner partner was surprised about them coming cold. Also, reservations are better. Depending on the day, there is a small wait for a seat.

I will not lie but this is one of the best gyudon I have! They prepared the beef a bit crispy which turned out so delicious. Also their miso soup is so tasty too!

Had a fantastic dining experience at Yujo Izakaya! The food was absolutely amazing—everything from the sushi to the katsu burgers and dumplings was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The cocktails and mocktails were unique and delicious! While the service was a bit slow, the staff was friendly and the incredible atmosphere made up for it. Perfect spot for a relaxed, enjoyable meal. I’ll definitely be back!

Ambiance was great however didn't get to experience most of it cause of the weather. The fries and wine were great. My steak however tasted too rare instead of medium rare which I didn't enjoy and the service was slow: it took too long for someone to bring me the menu after I was seated. Overall it's a nice gem, would love to go back and try the Japanese cuisine.

Our favorite restaurant in Kampala! Yujo is high-quality, expertly crafted, incredible food. We have tried several dishes and none have disappointed at all. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The restaurant has a laid-back feel to it, but is great for a delicious lunch or nice date night out. I can’t say enough good things about it!

Best sushi in Kampala! Super fresh fish, wide-range of options and all time favourite for a date night. Try the ginger orange martini!

Ordered for the Salmon poke bowl and pork katsu don and both the dishes were done well… the dampener was the dessert - opera cake( only sweet with no flavours, and their manager agreed to their cake not having any flavours). Overall a good evening with good food!

It seemed posh but they couldn’t get the payment correct- waited over 10 min! 🤣maybe take cash with you if you want to visit
