My brother, cousin, and I took a day off midweek to spend the day at Canada’s Wonderland — and heading straight for Yukon Striker was the best decision we made! We’d heard that the lines for Yukon Striker, Behemoth, and Leviathan can get pretty long as the day goes on, so we made this our first stop. The wait was totally worth it — and Yukon Striker ended up being our favourite ride of the entire day! The coaster itself is incredible. It’s the smoothest ride of all the big coasters in the park — no jerky motions, no uncomfortable bumps — just pure, thrilling fun. And the dive straight down into the underwater tunnel is absolutely wild! It gives you that perfect rush without feeling rough or overwhelming. Of the three big coasters (Yukon Striker, Behemoth, and Leviathan), this one easily topped our list for both excitement and ride experience. If you love coasters that are fast, smooth, and exhilarating, this one is a must. If you’re visiting Wonderland, definitely make Yukon Striker your first ride of the day before the line gets too long — you won’t regret it!

Probably our new favorite coaster. The initial drop is what you want from a coaster and the way it dangles you before dropping just adds to it. Not for the faint of heart

That ride is just so fun 🤩 Really enjoyed for the first time I try a Dive roller coaster and I scream a lot. 😆 I love ❤️ it. The best

Google
The best Dive Coaster in the world. Always use the single rider line if you are a single rider

This is one of be BEST rides at Canadas wonderland. The view is incredible and the drop gives you a good adrenaline rush. Something that gives the ride a lot of more thrill is how it stops you at the very top for a couple seconds then drops you. Would recommend this ride absolutely loved experiencing it.

Google
The Yukon Striker is one of the best rides at Wonderland! The first drop is insane, like such a stomach turning thrill. If you aren't concerned about sitting together, the single rider line helps cut down on the wait by a lot. Specifically for this ride, because of the cubbies moving on a conveyor, you cannot bring big bags or large items with you and you have to rent a locker, unless you have a non-rider holding all the bags.

Pavandeep Singh

Google
Very good ride awesome feeling when the drop comes but if you are a sikh just like me be careful of your turban because the seat has a protection barrier around it to make sure you don't move much when it comes up at the end of the ride it does get stuck on your turban and forcefully removes it.

Amazing ride I love it so much its my second favourite in the park and the drop is awesome definitely recommend this to anyone who is going to Canada's Wonderland

Yelp
Ticket sales needs to capped as it really takes the fun out of the experience. The event starts at 7pm and ends at 12am. All rides and haunted houses were 1-1.5 hour waits and you will consume most of your time waiting in line. The amount of people were a LOT, it really needs to improve. Tickets for entry were 45$ and 30$ for parking. This event felt like a price gouge galore, and really defeated the experience. Please save your money and time, it really isn't what it used to be.

Yelp
I don't understand why this has such low reviews. This event is amazing. Wonderland has a different vibe at night time. Spooky sounds, lights, smokes, and decorations all over the place. Scary monsters will jump scare you at any moment. Many monsters were surprisingly pleasant though. There was a dance party going on as well. The DJ was great and everyone was doing Fortnite dances. Some rides were closed, others operated with a halloween twist. Check out bumper cars, that's all I'm gonna say! I noticed some reviews mentioning haunted houses. I'm guessing those were cancelled due to COVID or maybe I just missed them. Right now you can buy 2022 gold pass which includes unlimited admissions to 2021 & 2022 halloween haunt and winter fest plus discount on food for $100 ($8.33 a month for the next 12 months). Honestly the price is such a steal that buying single tickets is basically a rip off.

Yelp
Worst experience ever going to an event! Just getting into Canada's Wonderland was a nightmare. It took us an hour and a half to drive 760 meters on Rutherford Road to turn left onto Canada's Wonderland Drive. People were cutting in front in the intersection and some cars were being so aggressive you had to let them in or they would run into the side of your vehicle. Canada's Wonderland should have seen this being an issue and had off duty cops or someone directing traffic and helping the flow of cars to prevent this debacle. It took us another 30 minutes to actually get into the parking lot which cost us another $30.00 on top of the $150.00 we spent for our two tickets. Going through the gates was ridiculous. People were being told at the gate that they could not bring any bags in and some were forced to have to leave their bags on the ground at the entrance of the park. We were herded through like cattle with everyone pushing and shoving and it didn't get any better once inside the park. The park was overcrowded with everyone basically on top of each other. I would be extremely surprised no one got hurt. My spouse and I were constantly having people running into us and stepping on our feet as we were moved through the very unscary park. Half the rides seemed shut down and there wasn't very many "terrifying scare zones" and the ones we saw were far from "terrifying". If you wanted to go on a ride or through a maze the average wait time was an hour so you could only go on a few before you would have to leave the park. The place was extremely overcrowded and we ended up just leaving after only being there for two hours as it was an extreme waste of time and money.

Yelp
Honestly this was a total mess. Getting into the park was a scarier experience than anything else. We had to take transit to get there and when security told us we couldn't bring backpacks, we felt totally screwed. We thought we could stash them inside lockers but then we nearly got kicked out because of it. I don't understand why we were getting so much shit for bringing empty bags to a theme park (I just use it as a way to stash my glasses, wallet, keys and other items, y'know, the things you'd hate to lose on a ride) but the security sternly told us that they can't risk our items being stolen and their park getting sued. That makes no sense to me but then again, I'm sure people have tried before and likely succeeded. Also, side tangent: why are there staff who stand at the front of the odiously long ticket lines who tell you to your face that it's cheaper to buy the damn tickets online? Thanks asshole, it's not like I waited 30 minutes here. That info sure would have saved my skin since I only get about five hours to spend at your park anyways. The staff are incredibly hostile for the most part. That being said, I don't envy their job in the fucking slightest. They likely have to deal with many alcoholic patrons or uncooperative people (who probably have the same backpack issue as I did). Thank Christ, I stashed my backpack behind a fence and it wasn't stolen. Wish I didn't have to put up with this much shit over an empty backpack but here we are. Please don't go into Halloween Haunt expecting that you'll go on a ton of rides. Because the occupancy isn't monitored, you're going to have a hell of a long wait to go on any of the three mega coasters to the point that it's far from worth it. The other rides are packed too so you really have to plan ahead and prioritize. My advice: just go on Flight Deck ten times. I don't know how but that is the deadest line I've ever seen for a roller coaster that big. Probably because it has notorious whiplash problems. People: just keep your head back the entire ride and you won't box your ears! Ah whatever. The food is wicked pricey and unfortunately you can't have access to the park once you walk out so don't bother picnicking or stopping by Subway. They got you by the balls the second you step foot. How about the actual mazes? Well, out of the five mazes we went through, only one spooked me, the others were just people standing still and popping out for a second. Nothing all that eerie or effective. I get that the staff have to stand around the same room for five hours straight and they thankfully don't do anything stupid like touch you but there's really nothing all that scary about a guy wearing a mask walking past you when you're surrounded by twenty people already brushing past you. I have more appreciation for the employees who saunter around the park and spook patrons since they're a bit more sociable. The one maze that did spook me was the mansion since they have paintings that slide open for employees to shriek at you. My friend spilled Soda all over his jacket and that made me die laughing more than anything. There is something to be said about attending Wonderland at night. The lights, spectacle and creepy royalty free Halloween music fit the season nicely. It's just a damn shame that there are so many drunk people interspersed with way-too-young children. I really don't think it was worth spending $90 either.

Rick L.

Yelp
Way too many people. I spent the whole night waiting and ended up doing very little. Clearly a cash grab from wonderland to get as many people in as possible. The experience sucked and that was my last at wonderland.

Janice W.

Yelp
The scariest part of this experience is dealing with the thousands of guests and then the associated very long lines for EVERYTHING! Parking is a Nightmare, Lines to washrooms are a Nightmare. Lines for food is a Nightmare, lines for rides are a Nightmare. In 4 hours we were only able to make it through 1 ride and 1 haunted house. This experience would have been much better if Wonderland would not be so greedy and instead of allowing a more reasonable amount of guests they greedily allow as many guests as the parking lot would allow making the experience "A nightmare" but not in the way you were hoping. We will never attend this event again and would strongly encourage others not to subject themselves to this incredibly sub par experience!

Derek L.

Yelp
Halloween haunt always used to be good. I don't know what happened recently. It became too kid friendly to the point where it's not scary. And now there is only 5-6 haunted houses. Before there were around 8-10 and some were actually pretty scary. Very disappointing....

Yelp
I would put 0 stars if I could. Canada's Wonderland Halloween Haunt is getting worse by year. There were only 5 mazes this year, we only entered 3 that were conjoined together (just horrible lol), the other 2 (cornfield maze and another one that I forgot the name of), the line was about a 2 hour wait (we asked the worker that held the sign).., tickets are WAYY too overpriced ($92 per 1 ticket) so glad I'm a CAA member we only paid $50 a ticket.. I understand COVID lost a lot of workers but not even a lot of people working at the Amusement Park, it was absolutely horrible and extremely overpriced. unfortunately we heard a lot of of similar comments from people walking past us or in lines.

Yelp
Halloween Haunt has certainly changed over it's 13-year tenure at Canada's Wonderland. I recall going to the first couple of years and the mazes were... well not the greatest. It could also have been a factor of my age and changing interests (my god this makes me sound old) but after a couple of years, I stopped going altogether. Last week I had the pleasure of attending HAUNT for the first time in nearly a decade and I was floored! The overall production was way better. The monsters roaming the park were far more convincing from make-up to costume, and the 2 mazes I briefly checked out were pretty good. I wasn't able to stay too long to give the whole experience a thorough try (also mostly due to long line-ups, but from what I experienced the mazes were elaborate, new exciting ones were offered this year and the fear factor was definitely at a new high. I would definitely recommend splurging on a speed pass as the lineups at some of the more popular mazes were daunting and prevented me from taking too much in before I had to leave. Looking forward to more freaky nights at Canada's Wonderland!

Yelp
Bought tickets to go on the Sunday assuming it would be less busy but was heavily disappointed. Tickets were $42 each. I've heard that haunt declined in quality over the years and is super over-rated. I couldn't even confirm my suspicions because I couldn't get in the park. Wonderland closes at 5pm to setup for haunt which opens at 7 pm. By the time we made it to the main intersection at the Vaughan location we were greeted with atleast 1 hr + worth of traffic. The scariest thing about haunt was the amount of cars lined up to get into the park barely moving. Clearly the park cannot sustain the capacity of customers they allowed to purchase tickets or were poorly prepared to open on time. There is no refund option on the tickets whatsoever. After waiting in traffic for 45 minutes we gave up feeling scammed and unable to even enter the park. I never saw the park but that money and wait isn't worth it. Think more than twice before grabbing tickets, no refund and no guarantee of even getting in at opening.

Lori H.

Yelp
We went to the Haunt in 2021, so due to Covid, there were no haunted mazes. Instead there were outdoor haunt sections. So, for the positive, the decorations were very nice. However, it really wasn't a haunt. It was more just; "come to the theme park at night, with Halloween decorations." I can't get over how amateur the actors were for the Halloween Haunt. When I went to LaRonde a few years back, the actors were dedicated to their roles and could strike fear into a grown man. You really felt like you were at an amusement park with monsters. The actors at Wonderland were just kids in makeup who would constantly break character and chit chat to each other. It was not scary at all. I am not mad at the kids, but I am upset that with all the money Wonderland makes from this event, they didn't invest in hiring professionals. The amusement park was PACKED, and because there wasn't much in terms of anything scary, all the event was was waiting in extremely long lines for rides.

Yasmine F.

Yelp
I went to Halloween Haunt on Saturday, October 15 2022, I arrived at 8:15pm and pre-bought tickets and had to wait in an hour and a half line just to enter Wonderland! There were only five haunted houses all of which had an hour plus lineup and barely any actors in costumes. It was a complete mess and so disappointing would never go again!!

Yelp
I love my Halloween Adventure at Canada's Wonderland as it turns into a Nightmare during October. I can now shoot zombies and makes them shed blood instead of shooting dragon at The Guardian. FYI I got the highest score for my group. White Water Canyon becomes a corn maze infested by "Cornstalkers". Scream! How about Club Blood or Blood Shed and more of those scary mazes? Fun to hear young girls screams...... I just scream along. Or my Yelp friends laughing at us screaming our heads off! Fright Pass for $40 might not be necessary as the lines moves fast. Trust me, it is not that scary............... ........... For management: if there is a little more lighting effect so I can see how scary those ghosts were would be awesome!

Yelp
Finally attended Halloween Haunt after not being able to the last couple of years. I've gone to this Wonderland attraction a couple of times in my young life and to those who are new to this Halloween spectacle expect the same Wonderland (rides being operational, food services open) but at night with spooky Halloween themed decor and additional haunted mazes throughout the park. There are also many Halloween Haunt actors that roam around the park with the soul purpose of scaring unsuspecting attendants. With that said, some of the rides and sections in Wonderland are closed due to the focus on Halloween Haunt like the 4D movie ride, White Water Canyon and the Splash Park. Now my star rating may be pretty low but there is a reason for that. Don't get me wrong, Wonderland has gotten better production wise to give you a more authentic scare with better make-up on monsters and better overall mazes. Where Halloween haunt falls short in my opinion is the overall experience when going through mazes when the people lined up go in HUGE groups. This is a disadvantage because if you are not in the front of the herd, all the scares happening to people in front of you, you would already see coming. So by the time it's your turn to get scared, you would already expect it coming, or the scare could be meant for someone behind you and you will just get an actor looking at you waiting for someone who wasn't paying attention. That would be my main gripe with the attraction since I came in order to feel scared, if anything I just felt slightly startled as I had gone through mazes. Which is why my party and I have gone on rides in between mazes which made my experience entirely as a whole wonderful. A couple of tips regarding the park and attraction. -I'd recommend going to Halloween Haunt earlier in the month or at least not the weekend closest to Halloween, reason for this is I've made that mistake in the past and realized that there were long line-ups for rides and mazes, the only way me and my friends could get a good amount done was to cut in line (sorry!). But if anything I would say if you have a little more money, get a Freak Lane Pass (only for mazes not rides). I would say its worth it if you have the money -I highly recommend purchasing your ticket's online, for us it was $14 cheaper (well they had a $7 processing fee so really you save $7 ~I'm rolling my eyes~) and you can skip the line to buy a ticket and go straight through the metal detectors to enter the park. You can also buy a parking pass for $20 online rather than $22 at the gate. -There are these necklaces that are about $6 called "No Boo Necklaces". These are green glow in the dark necklaces that allow monsters throughout the park (not the mazes) to not scare the user. I've seen many people where them, including children, could be a great asset for some family fun In the end, Halloween Haunt was alright, personally for me, I'm going back mostly to ride rides at night and go to mazes here and there. But if you are looking to be really scared, I'd say go to Screamers at the CNE (not sponsored to say this loool)

Cassandra E.

Yelp
Totally oversold. Park was absolutely packed, shoulder to shoulder, super long wait times even with fast pass. Absolute rip off.

Steven M.

Yelp
What a rip off. As others mentioned, there are no haunted houses of mazes. Just some tiny walkthrus on the main path, with what looks like teenagers wearing shabby clothes and a little blackened makeup to be ... zombies, ghouls or whatever .... no scares, no special effects, no acting, just really really sad. Not as sad I am for having to queue for 45 mins to get in, and paid for Fast Passes that don't even get you on lots of the rides. They do have one Halloween ride, but the Fast Pass is invalid on it (so why sell a fast pass on this night?). I'll be complaining to American Express for false advertising. If I'd know it was going to be this low-rent, and so obviously a cash grab - I would have came in the day time when the queues were less, and I could go on more rides. Utterly shameful. A rip off.

Alyssa C.

Yelp
No mazes this year, such a terrible decision! They easily could have had outdoor mazes and still kept it more COVID safe.

Doug L.

Yelp
What a waste of money and time , arrived at 7pm and stood in line for an hr to get into park . Park was over crowded and a lot of the rides were closed making the wait times for the open rides over an hr long The haunt zones were lack lustre clearly a true money grab Dont waste your time or money

Yelp
I actually feel really badly when I write a negative review but the HALLOWEEN HAUNT is definitely not worth it. I came with friends for the Grand Opening and we were really disappointed. In the 5 hours that it was open (7-12am) we only managed to get through two haunted houses (totally not scary) and rode two roller coasters. First let me start with the haunted houses. The haunted houses were not scary at all. Wonderland has everyone walk in right behind the people in front of them so you see the haunted people jump out at the person in front of you. Then when the same person jumps out at you, you don't get scared at all. It was as if we were just walking through a dark house with nothing there to make us scared. Talk about BORING!!! We waited an hour for that?? Are you kidding me?? I went to the Haunted Farm a few years ago and it was much better than Wonderlands Halloween Haunt. At the Haunted farm the haunted houses are actually scary. They allocate a gap between groups so everyone has the opportunity to get scared while walking through. They also have a guarantee where they allow guests to come back if it rains or they are not able to get through each of the haunted houses. Second, we only managed to get on two rides. I have to say the Leviathan is a great roller coaster but how are you supposed to get on a good amount of rides or go through all the haunted houses if the wait time is over 1 hour per attraction?? That is ridiculous! The entire night we felt like time was against us and we were unable to do everything we wanted to do. I really think Wonderland should open earlier for this event. If this event continues to open at 7pm, it truly is a waste of time.

Jillian S.

Yelp
Maybe it was just the date I happened to go, but this year's haunt was clearly a money grab and a waste of time. I usually look forward to going every year and am impressed by the production. First of all there was definitely no capacity limit, they wanted to sell as many tickets as possible so it was a nightmare seeing the lineup for the park. It went from the entrance all the way around the parking borders around where Behemoth is. That took around 2 hours from lining up to get in the parking and then lining up to get in the park. Keep in mind this event is only 5 hours, 7pm-12am. Second, there were no haunted houses this year. I heard they'd be outdoors which was understandable, so I thought there would be some cool mazes that you'd line up for. But they were actually just random areas of the park's walkway decorated along with some actors for the theme of each area. These areas were nicely decorated, but I had expected that I paid extra for this event to be able to see exclusive haunted attractions, not just the park you'd normally see as a day pass visitor with some halloween decor. I could tell they were desperate for actors too, some of them seemed kinda burnt out and tired or didn't know what to do. Since there were no haunted attractions to line up for, everyone obviously wants to just go on the rides. Every ride had at least a 1 hr lineup, or if you want to go on a more popular one like Yukon Striker or Leviathan, probably 3 hours. We lined up for around 1.5 hours for Yukon striker and didn't even get halfway through it so we left to find another ride, as the event time is too short to spend the whole time lining up for it (since we already spent so much time lining up to get in). I assume the only way to have a decent time is if you have a fast pass. Which is disappointing because previous years I could go on multiple rides and visit all the haunted houses without lines being a huge problem. Although this was an outdoor event there was no way of social distancing because of how many people there were. Overall this event was just a disaster and a waste of time and money. I wish they had capped the tickets or cut the line off at a certain point (and given a voucher or something to come another time) so everyone could have enjoyed their experience, but instead we were all let in and it was made impossible to do anything but line up for stuff the whole time. They listed this date as sold out but it was definitely more than sold out! Tldr we spent money to walk through a Halloween decorated park and go on two less popular rides.

My T.

Yelp
This year is honestly bad. I can't believe Wonderland promoting this as Halloween Haunt. The "haunt" is 4 tiny spots in the park, where vans wearing actors, who are probably barley 18, try to scare people so badly that even small kids are not scared of them. I went to the Haunt a couple of years ago and was amazed by the production, however, this year I'm surprised how low budget everything was. The only fun we had was riding the new "Yukon" ride and that's about it. Honestly, not worth it.

Sue M.

Yelp
I would give this 0 stars if I could. I don't know what happened this year, but I have gone to Haunt for years, and on Saturdays, and there were never any issues and I did quite enjoy it. HOWEVER. DO. NOT. GO. First of all it is extremely pricey but we did it anyways because of good past experiences. We went last night and it was a disaster. We left at 6:45 (it takes 10 minutes to get to Wonderland from where we are) Just getting INTO the parking lot took over an hour - backed up all the way to Jane and Rutherford. Then getting into actual Wonderland took another hour. It was horrendous. Once we finally got into the park, we waited in line for one ride and had to leave because it was almost midnight. I would like to remind you we left at 6:45pm. We didn't even get to do one maze. The lines were wrapped around rides and buildings. Such a waste of money and waste of time. Never going again. We will be calling and complaining to get money back/season passes.

Ryan T.

Yelp
We have gone to Halloween Haunt many times pre-COVID and understand that we are in a new reality. Unfortunately, the loss of the mazes was a serious downgrade from previous years. There also seemed to be a lot less attractions open which combined with the lack of mazes (and what seemed like reduced staffing) to make the lines at every single thing super long. We would not return to this event if the mazes don't return.

Gelareh B.

Yelp
Don't waste your time and money. It isn't worth it at all.we went there last night and it was the worst experience ever. Long lines , terrible attitude of park's employees made it even worse! Staff who dressed up to scare people were just walking and staring at people .... no attempts! And of course the mazes were disappointing!not SCARY at all. Definitely won't be back next year.
google avatar

Herman L.

Yelp
Over the years, Halloween Haunt has become a place where it is more family friendly or perhaps the age group is generally more high school students than not. After it reaches to about 8-9 pm, the lines and place becomes extremely crowded. Long lineups and to make things worse - they don't properly space you out so you end up just walking through the attraction without being scared at all. Would recommend to create some gap in general rather than sending a huge group at a time only to catch up to the next group in the attraction and just be in a cluster. Some of the shows were nice to see - Sin Lounge demonstrated a spectacular performance with pole dancing, acrobatics, and a minor fire show. Very good in that sense.

Yelp
I went to Halloween haunt this year Friday the 13th 2017 october just to go in the entrance I had to wait 20 mins. I thought since the haunted mazes were gonna be long lines the rides will be empty I guess not. I went to three hai ted mazes the corn maze was a joke and the people ru mig after you were not scary at all. I think it was a a waste of 39 bucks for this garbage I will just come to wonderland to go on the rides

Australian Yelper ..

Yelp
This is the first time i have attended Haunt in 5 years and overall, i was dissapointed. They paired mazes together so you go through 2 in 1. This sounds like a cool idea in theory but it made wait lines excrutiatingly long. After waiting in line for 1 maze for nearly an hour, the maze had "technical difficulties" so we didn't even get in! After looking at the lines i had a choice to either make it into 1 or MAX 2 mazes all night or buy the fast lane pass. I bought the fast lane pass for an additional $50 + tax per person. This allowed me to skip lines for mazes but not rides. Rides was an additional $90!!!! No way. So i ended up able to visit the majority of the mazes which were overall dissapointing, some of the scenery (especially the 1950s-70s themed stuff) was cool but the monsters themselves were for the most part pretty lackluster. Otherwise, typical wonderland stuff, $12 for a hot dog, 45 minute wait for a coffee at tims. The usual. BOTTOM LINE IF YOU ARE GOING TO GO: -would be good to take your children if they are 8-14ish -buy the fright pass beforehand online because otherwise you will not see much -get an attraction map right when u enter the park because the mazes were difficult to find -arrive right at 7pm when it opens to beat some of the traffic -if u drive, park elsewhere (i parked at vaughan mills) then uber to wonderland, the lineup out of the wonderland parking lot is brutal.

Yelp
This year sucks it seemed way to child friendly I saw man who's children looked 4, barely any scares besides specific spots in the park and all of the haunts were just extremely lazy as apposed to acouple years ago. The scares were also way to obvious and just left you looking around every corner bored as the night went on the haunters just seemed to get more tired. Another problem is they had a drummer band marching around the pack now if they were actually scary would have been good but these dudes were all lit up just drumming like your going to a Disney Halloween event, some of the mazes just had there audio blaring to where it was deafening(which isn't scary just hurts the ears) in conclusion they need to make a version on some of the days for adults and ramp up the scares(sidenote them selling a no scaring necklace is just a cash grab as if you don't want to be scared why are you going to an event about being scared. The prices were also a rip off 310 dollars for nothing

Yelp
I had a fun time--went on a Sunday evening so it was not too busy! Lineup was not too bad at all. The 'scare' factor was a lot of loud noises and 'shock' but with the designs, light, music and random ghouls--it got me good! I would definitely go back! Would recommend a toque and gloves--got really chilly! Beavers Tail was also open!

Yelp
This is my 5th year going to Halloween Haunt and it was just as good as the first!! The ambiance is so well done and the actors are so skilled at keeping in character! They have so many attractions that you can easily spend hours there and do so much! The lines can be quite big but they go by super fast. Also really cool how people can purchase "no boo" necklaces that light up so the actors know not to approach you and try to scare you. 10/10 would recommend!

Yelp
I attended HAUNT last night...we have gone every year since 2008 but skipped it last year to try somewhere different. We were disappointed that nothing had changed, it actually got worse. We expected long lines as there are thousands of people in that park...they cant spread you out like Screampark or Haunt Manor, however the actors meant to scare you just walked around...made no effort to scare anyone just stared at everyone. The 2 mazes in the mountain were great last time we went...the decor was amazing to look at but everything was so dark in RUINS you couldn't see any if it. BLACKOUT scared the hell out of me last time...you cant see anything but they had interred on to see us and scared us...this time you're just walking through the dark alone felling the walls to get out...NOT SCARY!!!!! They also paired mazes together which makes lines even longer and crowds even bigger in the mazes...they need to spread them out and make more to spread people out...so you're not tripping over people in front of you. Lastly the people annoyed me...lol...if you're going to go through a maze SHUT UP DONT TALK...you want to be able to hear the creepy music and actors not people talking all through it. Bottom line...not worth the money!!!! Try Screampark in kitchener or Haunt Manor in Niagara Falls...they spread you out so much YOU are the only one in it...will scare the shit out of you!!

Yelp
Came here for Halloween Haunt, was so disappointed, the haunted events were poorly put together, make up and scenery were lacking artistic skill. In the time that the park is open 7-12am we managed 2 haunted houses and 1 ride (all of which were boring). It's seems like the park wanted ppl to come for the everyday rides with a little smoke and minimal Halloween decorations. My advice go to Screamers far more entertaining you will have a good scare.

Yelp
Horrible experience. Described online as the best haunt in Canada. That is absolute B.S. as I have been more scared at my local high school haunted house. The "Haunted Attractions" where 6 or 7 areas where decorations where put along the concrete driveways in the park and the actors were kids (i.e. not professionals clearly) with amateur costumes who would clearly rather be somewhere else. Can't really blame them though given that they pretty much had nothing to work with to be "scary". Ridiculous lines (like 3 hours for each ride) both in the park and to get in. We showed up at 6 pm but didn't get in to 8:45 pm, leaving us about less than 3 hours to actually do anything. We bought the fast pass plus making the total cost for the experience up to $350. We get in and there are zero haunted houses or mazes. The Halloween attractions marked on the map are actually 10 - 15 feet of decorations. There was one haunted attraction which was the dragon mountain laser thing turned into zombies and was not included in the fast pass. Do not recommend for anyone actually wanting a Halloween or haunted event!

Yelp
The limited time available for individuals, and the fact that you cannot access the park until 7:00 resulted in us unable to actually get into Wonderland for about an hour and a half upon our initial arrival due to parking and wait lines to get into the park. This already did not begin our evening with a good impression and felt very disorganized. Also, there was not enough staff working. In our limited time that we had at this event we experienced countless situations of people budding us in the lines, with no staff there to reinforce these rules due to such lengthy line ups. We also could not watch one of the shows as it was always at capacity. We also waited over an hour for the Zombie 4D ride to find an error message on the screens while on the ride, as well as the laser guns not working. There were also about 8 carts that were shut down due to repairs that appeared to be needing to be completed on the laser guns. The lack of carts available did not help for the wait times. The price I paid for the tickets and the experience I got in turn does not seem justifiable.

Yelp
I visited the park on Oct 31st 2018. In one of the haunted houses there was a woman standing on a staircase in a long white dress. This was the first haunted house I stepped foot in at the park, and the first thing we did at Halloween Haunt. Well I took out my phone to record the experience and she screamed at me as loud as she could, telling me to turn off my phone. I had no idea phones were not allowed. (In other haunted houses i have went to in Ontario they had a rule of 'no flash', but phones were allowed)..... Her rudeness ruined the experience for me. I understand she was 'in character' but there are better ways to politely inform patrons of a rule IE. a large sign outside the door, a staff member politely telling ppl before they walk in. At the end of the haunted house, when we walked out the back door we all felt the woman ruined the haunted house for us. We also overheard at least 2 other people complaining about how rude that woman was. Please fix this for next year.

Yelp
I did NOT enjoy my time over there! I wasted 45 dollars and good thing I did not buy HAUNTLANE (similar as FASTLANE) for 50 dollars extra it would have been total 107 dollars. Parking is expensive cost 20 bucks to park just for measly 5 hours (Halloween Haunt event only opens at 7 pm to 12 am). Security was unable to control vast number of people at the gate. People keep on cutting lines and no organize lines all of them are scattered to get tickets then go back to other long lines just to get in. Once I went in and found all of the haunted sites/the amusement rides are at least 1 hour wait to get 3 to 5 minutes ride/walk. I am deaf and no thrill for me to see anything in that Haunted place. I screamed at the staff and they pissed their pants. NOT ME! They often tried to scream at me and I cannot hear and nothing really scares me. Their costume looks not frightening. Their inner decoration is plain...its like they rushed and build it for few days without a lot of interesting lighting effects/props. My deaf friend and I swore we never go there again and its damn boring. Also it was too dark for us to communicate. Just give you advice go to Screemers at Exposition and it is 10 times better! (No interpreter for Halloween shows, no discount for the deaf, no refund, and no return stamp if once you leave the gate.)

Yelp
Been here in the past and it was great. Came here in the evening and it was the worst experience ever. Traffic was backed up for an hour, impossible to even get in the parking lot. Wasn't even a line to get through the gates more of a crowd. In the 5 hrs we had only went through 2 mazes and 2 rides as the lines were ridiculously long. No organization, people would start their own lines and butt in. Waited an hour and a half for the corn maze that maybe took us 2 min to walk through. Left at 1130 to avoid the traffic leaving the park but it is currently 112 and we just left the park. Not worth $50 Definitely won't be back next year unless management can control the crowds better.

Yelp
Had a lot of fun, nevertheless long line of waiting to enter. Almost same attraction as last year.

Yelp
Huge line to buy tickets Huge line to get in. Spent 2 hours just trying to get in. All the lines for the haunted attractions were over 45-1 hour long waits. Finally when you go threw they just let everyone threw at once so the workers had zero time to get back in place. Lines had zero organization everyone just jumped in line. I went there to get scared and have fun but I got mostly disappointment and frustrated. I wont be going back I got more of a scare from screampark in bingemans.

Yelp
I went to this attraction last year and I would say it is one of the best Halloween events in North America. They are super scary which is ideal because I feel like I never get scared at haunted houses over otherwise. There are so many rides open and there are so many hunted houses that have been created. Everything about this is super fun and it's definitely a great place to go with friends. I do feel that the price is a bit too high though but I guess it's worth it if you're able to afford it. I did notice there were a lot more highschooler's and college students versus adults but that didn't bother me one bit. I went on a Friday night and it was very cool out and I figured that would detract from my experience but it definitely made it enjoyable and I had a great time. It was a fun experience and I think I would definitely come back another time.

Yelp
I've attended Haunt every year, and this was by far, the worst experience ever. It took us 1.5 hours to find a parking spot from hwy 400. Another 45 minutes to get to the admission gates. We didn't ride our first ride until 2hours after the park opened. Too criowded. Vending machines were empty. Lines for over priced food were minimum 30 minutes long. No ice, no straws, no drink lids. Very few ghouls. The most irritating part was the number of rides no longer included with the fast pass such as mine buster, bat, time warp and drago fyre! I spent over $600 for tickets for family plus $20 to park. I will Not be back.

Yelp
The props and the attention to detail is great. Having employees in uniform every few steps kills the whole scene. We spent a lot of time trying to find the lines and on 2 occasions waited in a line that turns out wasn't even a line that we had waited 30min in already. More signs or employees to help direct customers. Less employees in there uniforms in the houses. Though I know why they are there is for our protection and their employees. Maybe black them out and have the odd one visible.

Yelp
Great atmosphere. Very busy. Try to go on a Sunday. I advise everyone to get the speed pass. It's an extra $45, but it's the only way to get in to all the haunted houses.

Yelp
I've been to Halloween haunt before and it was great. Went last night and got into one haunted house. Takes over an hour to get into the park even with a ticket and over an hour and half lineup at each Halloween attraction. Parking was $22 on top of what we paid for our ticket, was not worth the price. Could barely walk through the park.

Yelp
The props and houses were well done, sinner's lounge (show) was amazing. And that's all your gonna get out of your money. This event was the biggest waste of money that I've ever put out. The costumes for the most part were poorly done (costumes i would expect from a teenager going to a party, not a professional haunted house) the make up was terrible, not even close to how they advertise it. The employees were beyond lazy and didn't even seem like they wanted to be there. There was nothing scary about this event. There was no surprise aspect of the "monsters" they didn't try the least little bit to put any effort into scaring someone. I was beyond disappointed with this event, i will never go back to it nor will i ever suggest it to someone.
