Yuli's Homestay

Very average stay. Wifi doesn't work in rooms and even in the common areas where it is meant to work it is terrible. Ants in the room. Beds were covered in stains so I asked if they could be changed and he asked what colour they were. I said white, so he said he will give me yellow ones. Not to give me non rank ones, just some it was harder to see how rank they were. Not enough tables for breakfast so often waiting to sit down for breakfast. Breakfast itself was decent, pools were decent but not cleaned very often and the rooms were large. No hot water in the showers in the room. Spent most of our time there with poorly stomachs and listening to others staying there we weren't the only ones. Not sure if it was the breakfast or the water. Staff were by in large nice. Location was great. Very much an arrogant surfer vibe there. Would defo stay somewhere else next time.

Amazing place to stay that literally feels like a home away from home! We stayed here for over a month and it's the perfect location to reach all the local surf spots as well as being close to all the restaurants in town. Yuli, mike, gawan and all the staff are so lovely, nothing is too much trouble and a great selection of breakfasts every day! Makasi 🙏🤙❤️

My wife Maria, and our daughter Amanda stayed there last June/ July. Yuli and her Kiwi husband were so helpful and friendly. 3 swimming pools, breakfasts, shared kitchen, a short walk to an amazing gellato shop and Rocket (tender) chicken across the road . We are back and booked in for 7 days this July.

Excellent location yet quiet at night. Large, comfortable rooms, good AC if you need it, free drinking water, and extremely warm, welcoming & friendly staff who all make you feel right at home. Special mention to Gawan on reception & the two young men who work the breakfast shift - they're always so happy & helpful. Three lovely pools to cool off in, and very fairly priced, convenient scooter hire. We stayed for 3 weeks as we had such a great, relaxing time. Yuli & Michael are fabulous hosts, and it was a pleasure getting to know them during our stay. We would strongly recommend staying here. You simply won't regret it! 😁

The place to stay in Kuta. Owners are a lovely family, which together with the great staff will do everything to make you feel comfortable. They have shared kitchen with free water, coffee, tea etc, a nice garden and pools to chillax. I wish I could come more often to visit my bros and sis 🤗

Centrally located, 3 pools and friendly people. Very clean inside large rooms. Our bedding pillows and duvet cover had rips and holes in, which we looked past as we were only there for one night. Breakfast we walked into and saw the tables covered with ants so walked straight back out and ate somewhere on the street. Everything was clean maybe have a look at renewing the beds

The patio area outside the room is not protected by the rain and the tiles are dangerously slippery! I slipped and hurt my back and I saw the guy opposite me also slipped on the steps. Hotel management need to put down mats before someone is seriously injured! WiFi doesn’t work in the rooms and no hot water in the rooms.

First everything looked nice. Big spacious garden with several pools and the guy who greeted us was nice and friendly. After we got the room, we realized that there was only cold water in the shower and centipedes coming up from the shower floor. Think they have a nest in the cracks. Rooms were old and run down, doors didn’t shut etc. The wifi was not working at all so when it didn’t improve for a few hours, we went and asked the evening staff at the reception. He was wery quick to blame the thunderstorm that was 24h ago, power lines etc. I tried the WiFi in the reception and it was working just fine there so I asked why and he just stopped responding. Since he was done communicating, I asked the owner if there was anything to do and she told us to ask the staff to help get a SIM card. We went back to the reception only to get rude answers that he can’t help with a sim card and that there is nothing wrong with their WiFi. He got angry and rude and said it was our devices that was the problem. After that incident we didn’t feel welcome there at all so we decided to stay one night and leave first thing in the morning. We haven’t experienced this kind of rude behaviour from a local before and we’ve been living here for 6 months. Hope that they take this kind of incidents seriously and help the person to be better in the future. The breakfast staff could also use some training in customer service. Breakfast was also tasteless, milk I ordered for coffee wasn’t milk and we got a bit sick in the stomach afterwards. Not price worthy and won’t be back.
