Yunomori Onsen & Spa Sathorn 10

The place is so relaxing and love the spa. The water is so well maintained and hygienic. Love to spend whole day there and eat nice vegetarian food. Love the place and so big and nice staff too. The Thai massage is very good and very friendly.

It was an interesting and fun experience especially on a rainy day! They have hot pools and one cold pool. Only wished that the massage beds had a dip for our heads

Unfortunately, my experience at this onsen was disappointing. First of all, they do not provide dry towels. After using the baths, this creates obvious discomfort. For a place where guests constantly move between hot water and relaxation areas, this basic service should be standard. Secondly, their tea policy makes no sense. If you order a teapot, they refuse to bring more than one cup. I may want to share the teapot with someone instead of drinking it alone — that seems completely reasonable. This rule feels unnecessary and not guest-oriented. In addition, the space organization is confusing. You constantly have to move between different floors and even separate buildings to access various areas. It interrupts the relaxing atmosphere and makes the whole experience less enjoyable. Overall, I expected a much better level of service and attention to guest comfort. Unfortunately, it did not meet expectations.

This was my first visit to Yunomori Onsen’s Sathorn branch, and honestly, I left feeling underwhelmed. From the start, the cashier was unfriendly and unwelcoming. I’m not sure if it was because I only opted for the onsen day pass instead of their massage service, but his attitude certainly didn’t set a good tone. I’ve tried the massage at their Sukhumvit branch before and wasn’t impressed, so I didn’t see a reason to try it here either. Once inside the onsen area, I noticed something odd—some patrons were wearing black shorts. I’m not sure if these were provided by the onsen, but it felt strange and out of place. Naturally, you’re supposed to be fully naked in an onsen, and having clothing in the baths makes the experience feel less clean, especially considering detergent residue from the fabric. On the plus side, the facility itself was clean enough, and they have a nice garden, which adds to the atmosphere. There’s also a restaurant just beyond the garden offering food and chilled drinks, though I didn’t try it this time since I had dinner plans at ICONSIAM. The rest area is located on the upper floor above the restaurant and was fairly relaxing. They provide a blanket, which is a nice touch, but I would have preferred if they offered something to layer over the pillow for hygiene purposes. Overall, I’m giving this place 1 star due to the unfriendly cashier, the allowance of shorts in the onsen, and the lack of attention to small but important details. It’s still a decent enough place, but these factors made the experience very much less enjoyable.

Service and cleanliness - Staff presence: Limited staff patrolling the pool areas, so oversight felt minimal. - Hygiene/etiquette: Towels were sometimes washed in the pool area, and there were lapses in etiquette—some ladies had hair down, and a male guest wore shorts in the pool. - Language encounter: The yukata attendant spoke Thai to me, but I don’t speak Thai. When I mentioned this, her mood turned unfriendly and she explained the onsen rules more sternly. This left a negative impression. - Comparison note: For better service, the Sukhumvit branch generally feels more attentive and better staffed around the facilities. Overall impression - Yunomori Sathon 1 shines with its spacious resting areas and larger pools, offering a relaxed experience overall. Main improvements would be more visible poolside staff to ensure comfort and stricter pool etiquette to maintain cleanliness. The interaction with the yukata attendant also suggests a need for more language-friendly, customer-focused service. If service quality is a priority, Sukhumvit might be the more reliable option. Fantastic place, you cannot go wrong with anything you choose here. The place is quiet and so relaxing, people simply fall asleep here and there. The onsen baths are out of this world - I especially loved the deep cold tubs, and the salt scrub for the steam room. Nice little Japanese restaurant, and wonderful massage options. I look forward to going back!

I went to the onsen alone and absolutely loved it! I spent almost the whole day there 😊enjoying the hot baths, relaxing, and even taking a nap in the super comfy nap space. The restaurant is also really nice with good food. Such a perfect place to unwind. I’ll definitely go again!

Always excellent service by new staff who kindly helped me charge my phone due to power bank failure & also store my newly bought luggage while I relaxed at their very well run establishment! Their services are very good & always able to relax & unwind before heading back to stress filled reality.
