We are currently using YOH and are very pleased! yes there are shipping costs but how else do you get products when your in the middle of the Pacific?? And yes there are add-ons that are beneficial when you live in a wet tropical climate....so you get what you pay for. STILL more affordable than a regular house. Just be prepared for a lengthy permitting process while the county figures out the new permitting system!

Base price is 13k, but they immediately try to tell you you need extras which result in the actual price being 30k. Misleading and shipping cost and time were really high.

What's up with the loose fitting canvas walls and roof covering? They look wrinkled - I used to have a 20 foot yurt from Pacific Yurts and the wall and roof fit much better.

Yurts Of Hawaii definitely delivered! We bought the eagle yurt - the 30' round beautiful Yurt. With the help of Melissa and her expert knowledge of what a client might require for the specific location I found her expertise invaluable. She responded to texts, she planned the project & timeline very well. The contractors showed up on time with the big machinery to make our 400' driveway. They did excavation & backfill on a lava hole, provided extra gravel as needed. The road and pad was expertly crafted. The yurt was erected in the timeframe discussed. Very good quality, insulation, and structure stability. Melissa and her office staff was friendly and responsive. Considering another project with Yurts of Hawaii!! Thank you for our new home!

Melissa Fletcher and Ochana and the whole team are truly the best at what they do. Yurts of Hawaii is helping me from start to finish starting with the Site prep and foundation and Yurt set up. Also water catchment and so far what I have seen starting with the site prep is beyond amazing. If you plan to build you are in good hands with Melissa and the whole Yurts of Hawaii team.

I'm in the process of shopping for a yurt on the Big Island and I am having the best imaginable experience with this business. The owner, Melissa, is professional, knowledgable, and even organizes conferences about yurts. She can help you permit and insure the sustainable structures. We're almost done! Yay!
