The Best Way to Travel Through Northern Morocco Is by Train — Here's How to Plan Your Trip

"The Yves Saint Laurent Museum in Marrakech offers a tranquil experience amidst the hustle and bustle of the city. It is one of the more peaceful areas in the city, alongside Jardin Majorelle." - Elle Benson Easton

"The Late Designer's Final Gift to the City Constructed by Studio KO architects to echo the weave of fine cloth, the Yves Saint LaurentMuseum opened in late 2017 to great fanfare. It was particularly poignant because Pierre Bergé, the longtime partner and business head behind the late designer, had died less than a month earlier. No doubt he would have been delighted with what he saw, for the museum is a game changer with its fresh approach to documenting a subject. Many of Saint Laurent’s lauded haute couture prototypes are on display here against a sleek black backdrop, which makes them appear to almost float across the room, and the library is one of the best in the world on the subject of fashion. A separate auditorium hosts seminars, film screenings, and other events, and the café—simply called Le Studio—has become the lunch favorite of the city’s glitterati. Saint Laurent, you can’t help but feel, would have approved."

We bought the package tickets and visited the gardens and bookstore - well worth the price. Everything was immaculate. All of the plants were healthy and in bloom; it was amazing how plants from different climates were flourishing in this one area. The garments on display were a great representation of YSLs career and creativity. We went at the beginning of 'low' season and still waited in line. You must purchase tickets online; there are no ticket sales at the window.

YSL Museum is average for people not really into the clothing thing. I mean the first picture is worth it considering the hype about the brand and place. But generally goes down from there. The souvenir shop is decently priced. You need to book in advance and online No physical ticketing office available. MUST CARRY A CARD, no cash payments inside too.

You need to prebook tickets online, which helps manage the number of visitors. It’s a beautiful garden with a wide variety of cacti and other plants. Thanks to the timed entry slots, it never feels too crowded, allowing you to explore comfortably at your own pace.

Absolutely breathtaking. The vibrant "Majorelle Blue" and lush, exotic plants create a stunning and serene oasis. A truly beautiful place and a must-see in Marrakech.

The Yves Saint Laurent Museum in Marrakesh is an absolute must-see. The architecture is stunning, with a modern design that blends perfectly with the city’s charm. Inside, the collections are curated with great taste, offering a fascinating journey through YSL’s legacy and fashion history. The atmosphere is elegant yet inspiring, and the staff are welcoming and helpful. It’s not just a museum, but a true cultural experience that combines art, fashion, and history in one place.

Interesting museum currently with Hamish Boules collection on display, a nice hour spent out of the midday heat. No photos allowed in the collection. There is only 3 rooms of collection to view, two rooms with posters on the wall and an auditorium showing 2 films about YSL which were interesting

Absolutely stunning place! A must-visit for fashion and art lovers. The museum is elegant and inspiring — from original sketches to iconic outfits. Peaceful, stylish, and full of Yves Saint Laurent’s spirit. Don’t miss the Majorelle Garden next door!

The museum is very great but the staff at the entrance was VERY unfriendly and absolutely did nit want to help me buying a ticket. Apparently, the website has some problems with Austrian credit cards…I just wanted to find a solution, bc I really wanted to see the museum, but he started to curse at me in Arabic.
