Good for the price! The room was clean and comfortable. The shared washrooms and showers were nice - private stalls, with benches, hooks, etc. - and also clean. The location was convenient - close the a metro station, and the cafe attached to the restaurant was good for breakfast. My only complaint would be that it was very hot in the room and we couldn't seem to control the temperature.

Room is small, but it's very cozy. Enough room for clothes and a computer with lots of desk space. Communal showers are not bad and neither are the restrooms besides some very minor issues with the stall locks. There are some very minor issues with the room (mirror light doesn't work and the wall next to the bed has some slightly concerning spotting which I will need to get fixed), but thankfully there is a way to report these things and get them fixed as soon as possible without any additional charge :)

Best accommodation for the price. Convenient location, close to a station. Beds are clean and comfortable. I book the private rooms. There is a coffee maker with coffee in room with whitener, tastes decent. Building has a small thrift clothing store but it's closed on weekends. First floor has very nice diner style restaurant, great value and service for a breakfast meal.

The hotel it's self was very nice and the staff was very friendly. The location was perfect for us as we were there for the US consulate and we arrived by train. The room was decent but not amazing(however we were looking for a lower price). There was a bedside lamp and one dim wall mounted light. The beds were fairly hard and the room was kind of cold. I didn't find an option for a heater and the tiled floor just made it feel more cold. Everything in the room was very clean and a small TV was provided with multiple channels.

The hotel is comfy and perect for the price. Myself and a friend shared a room with a double bed and have no complaints between us. The bathrooms are communal, which is the only issue I think someone may have. The room has air conditioning that doesn't seem to be overly effective, but we simply striped a few blankets from the bed. It feels a bit more like a hotel than hostel, but we loved our stay!!

The YWCA is the best hotel you can get for this price range (100$ for a double bed room w. private bathroom and AC). I stayed there for 3 different trips in Montreal in the past 2 years and I am always very satisfied with their service and the quietness of the place. The rooms are extra clean and the walls surprisingly soundproof! It is perfect for someone like me who might be in bed at 9pm or go out to a bar and come back at 3am. Although this hotel is no place for ''room parties'', its location (downtown MTL and close to 3 metro stations) is great to go out nearby and come back later. I give them 5 stars since it's affordable and overall very worth it.

Very pleasant experience for the price of this room. Location is central in downtown Montreal. Room was clean and comfortable. Front desk staff were friendly and professional. Will definitely consider this hotel again next time I am in Montreal.

We booked the room with two double beds and private bathroom for 3 nights. The room was a bit dim but better than I expected for the price. Area is really convenient, with access to the metro and lots to do within walking distance. When we came in, the person at the reception showed us a bunch of things to do in Montreal and even marked it on a map for us, detailing transit routes.
