Love that the exhibition is held in the house Zadkine lived in. The Zadkine Modigliani exhibit is great, but the QR code that is supposed to take us to the English guide didn’t work: The works themselves were extraordinary! I will return in the summer to fully enjoy the garden with all the sculptures !

Zadkine is a small museum near the Luxembourg Gardens. I enjoyed the exhibition and the signage was very clear. They have an app you can download before you visit which I recommend.

It's a small and pretty museum to visit when you're near the Jardin du Luxembourg. The art in this museum is really precious and beautiful and unique from Zadkine. Book your tickets in advance on weekends because it's a small museum and can get a bit crowded.

Tucked away in what I would describe as my dream house in Paris you will find the musée Zadkine. It offers thought provoking exhibitions and an interesting permanent collection - all displayed in a charming residential setting. I visited with a 4 year old (who was very welcome!) and we both appreciated the works and the building. (Would also recommend a nice stroll in the Jardin du Luxembourg after!)

Yesterday I went to the Zadkine museum, and while the exhibit could have been wonderful, the museum and the exhibition rooms are very small and the directors of the museum let WAY TOO MANY people in at one time. In a room that would comfortably fit only 5-7 people there were close to 15. It was so crowded that people were bumping into each other AND into the sculptures. It felt extremely claustrophobic and took away from seeing, learning, and reading about what was on display. At one point there was a huge bottleneck leading from one small room to another. People were just standing waiting to get into the next room which then created a pile up back into the other rooms. I feel it is irresponsible to run a museum like this, one that has so much to offer. Please limit the number of visitors per 15 minute intervals so that paying customers can actually see the art and enjoy the experience.

As a Belarusian myself, I went to the museum to pay respect to my fellow countryman Ossip Zadkin. Although the ticket price is definitely too much (the museum is basically Zadkin's old house where he used to work and where the pieces donated by his widow are left), it was nice to see what a true genius he was.

A beautiful exhibition of an extremely talented artist. Located in a quiet area of Paris with some of the sculptures set in the garden.

Yelp
This hidden little gem of a museum shows the sculptures of Ossip Zadkine (1890-1967),a Russian sculptor and major figure in the School of Paris. The pieces are very well displayed in what used to be the artist's studio and house, the glass roof allowing plenty of natural light. You can also see a few of the bigger sculptures in the small garden. The visit does not take long but is lovely. The place is very peaceful and private, you'd almost forget you are in the middle of Paris. The museum is not too far from the Jardin du Luxembourg and can be the starting point of a nice walk. Entrance is free, no excuse not to visit!

Yelp
Fascinating, creative sculptor but this museum should be avoided. The number of Zadkine's works on display is slight. Those in the garden are difficult to see due to untrimmed bushes and forbidden grass spaces. The great majority of works are by other artists and Zadkine's are insufficient in number to qualify as a museum with a regular entrance fee.
