Yesterday I went to the Zadkine museum, and while the exhibit could have been wonderful, the museum and the exhibition rooms are very small and the directors of the museum let WAY TOO MANY people in at one time. In a room that would comfortably fit only 5-7 people there were close to 15. It was so crowded that people were bumping into each other AND into the sculptures. It felt extremely claustrophobic and took away from seeing, learning, and reading about what was on display.
At one point there was a huge bottleneck leading from one small room to another. People were just standing waiting to get into the next room which then created a pile up back into the other rooms. I feel it is irresponsible to run a museum like this, one that has so much to offer. Please limit the number of visitors per 15 minute intervals so that paying customers can actually see the art and enjoy the experience.
