Unfortunately, our stay was affected by a serious hygiene issue.
The towels in the room were folded and presented as if they were clean. However, only after I had taken a shower and tried to use one of the towels did I discover visible dirt and blood stains on it.
The bathrobes were also hanging in the room as if they were freshly cleaned, but later it became clear that they too were dirty and had not been properly laundered.
In addition, the bathroom was not properly cleaned. Both the toilet itself and the bathroom floor were dirty, which further raised concerns about overall hygiene standards.
This was extremely disturbing. Items and facilities that appear clean but are in fact unhygienic pose a serious health concern.
Clean towels, bathrobes, freshly washed bed linen, and a properly cleaned bathroom are the most basic standards of accommodation.
There was no apology or any form of compensation offered by management. Given the seriousness of the hygiene issues, this response was highly unprofessional and unacceptable.
I strongly urge management to review housekeeping procedures to ensure this does not happen to other guests.
