Zaidee's Bar and Grill

This is one of my favorite places to eat. The view from the outside patio is lovely. Or you can sit inside on a cool day next to the fireplace and have a glorious ambiance. My go to is the steak frites with a side salad and fries. Yes, both. Steak, medium rare. It comes with an aioli and fried onions. I usually don't eat the crispy fried onions but I do enjoy the aioli. I will say, the steak is good enough without the aioli though. I had their acai bowl a few weeks ago and it was very good! Delicious in fact. It comes with peanut butter on top. Lots of granola...in every bite. I'd suggest getting that on the side.

You can't have a better breakfast in Ojai. Pictured here is the Smoked Salmon Board and the Acai Bowl. It was hands down the best Acai I have ever had. The views here are outstanding!

Dog friendly patio with unbeatable views at sunset. Affordable drinks. The staff was super accommodating and the food (largely pub grub) was excellent and well cooked. Note, it’s located on a golf course, but this did not affect the experience at all. Highly recommend.

Zaidee's is located at the Soule Park golf course and having eaten at many golf course restaurants I wasn't expecting much. It turned out to be a great place to enjoy a casual lunch. The food was excellent and the view from the terrace was beautiful.

We stopped by after a long overnight backpacking trip and the food was exactly what we needed! The place was interesting because we had to drive up this private street into a plaza almost like an estate entrance. We got seated by the fireplace which was super cozy. The food was good but we had to send back the spicy margarita… it was pretty bad. Overall, I’d recommend this place if you’re in Ojai. It’s not in downtown which is a plus but not that far off either. We had the nachos with chicken and the CA burger.

The jalapeño tuna melt sandwich at the Soule Park Golf Course restaurant is a must-try! The sandwich is perfectly toasted, with just the right amount of spicy kick from the jalapeños, and the tuna filling is rich and flavorful. You can choose to pair it with crispy, golden fries or a fresh salad, both of which are excellent options. On top of the delicious food, the restaurant has stunning views of the golf course and surrounding mountains, making it the perfect spot to relax and refuel after a round. Highly recommended!

Stopped by here after Ojai Holiday Home Tour & recommendation by sweet young women at Ojai Will Call office. They recommended the grilled cheese & tomato soup combo - we shared it - so yum! Space is lovely & fireplace so appreciated on this rainy day. Our bartender/server - lovely young woman so nice & professional - wish we got her name. & young tall man working with her equally kind. Such a non-pretentious gem in Ojai!

Great for breakfast! Service was a bit slow except for the person who actually brought out our meals. Food came out hot and delicious. We sat outside so we had great views of the First Tee and the 9th green. An order of Brioche FR. Toast, a Breakfast Burrito &a Ranchers Omelet all meals were hot and delicious.

Went here for a late lunch on Father's Day. Fantastic find! I had the bistro burger with salad. Their lemon vinaigrette is delicious! Hubby had the nachos with carne asada. Not a bit left! Yummy!! Daughter had the Caesar salad and said it was great! Gaby was our server and she was amazing! So friendly, cheerful and attentive. We'll definitely be back!

Beautiful location next to the golf course. Wonderful seating outside in the patio. Enjoyed my turkey club sandwich along with the cesar salad. All very fresh and tasty. Service was very good. Servers very attentive. Buen provecho.

The place is a gem! The remodel they completed a few years ago was done really well. The natural wood and stone decor make you feel like you're in a country cabin. The space is airy, clean, and gorgeous. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. This place delivers platters of delicious and fresh food. The Veggie Omelette is my favorite. You have to split the Pancakes and added Blueberries. The fruit is added to the batter, so when you cut into the three layers of hotcakes, you see the blueberries warmly rolled into the middle. The bar serves up reasonably priced cocktails and great views of the golf course! If the weather permits, sit outside and enjoy some sun and fairways.

The setting here is unbeatable: looking over the sweeping green golf course with the beautiful Ojai bowl mountains in the background. And during sunset it's so serenely peaceful with the hint of pink moment coloring the scene. The service was super kind and attentive. The portions of food here are very generous and the food is fresh. My husband got the California burger and my dad got the Cobb salad. The Cobb salad had huge chunks of delicious chicken! The menu has one of everything I'd say, but is not too expansive in its offerings. I look forward to bringing more of our guests back here to see the beauty of Ojai.

Prettiest morning breakfast spot in the valley. The menu is perfect, big enough for all tastes. Small enough that the chefs get it right every time. The salmon is smoked to perfection, not salty at all. The servers and staff are friendly and well trained.

A local kept secret. First time in Ojai, and when visiting a new city I love to ask the locals for recommendations. Glad I did because this place didn't disappoint. The spicy margaritas were spot on. I ordered a burger with the onion strings (yum) and my mom had fish and chips. Zaidee's is tucked away in a golf course and has an amazing backdrop of the mountains and course.

What more can you ask for when visiting the beautiful Soule Park golf course. Great golf and delicious food! Hands down - one of the best places to get a meal after a round. The renovation looks great and the menu update is amazing.

I can't say enough about the view and ambiance - spectacular! The staff was friendly and attentive. The lunch menu offered a variety of items and the 4 of us settled on 2 veggie garden wraps, fish tacos, and a turkey club sandwich. The portions were quite generous - 3 of us took half our wrap/sandwich home for another day. I highly recommend you enjoy a fine meal at Zaidee's Bar & Grill.

An excellent dining spot after a wonderful round of golf. Lots of lunch and dinner choices or just a drink with a wonder view of Ojai Valley . The new interior furnishings were in line with that of a premium resort. Bartenders were always there to keep the drinks flowing with delicious hot food. Friendly too Prices were very reasonable. Definitely coming back - after I fix my golf swing

Absolutely delicious Huevos Rancheros. Not only did it taste amazing but it was quite a masterpiece. Service was excellent and food arrived quickly. Even if you aren't interested in a round of golf come for the amazing food and views.

I had the breakfast burrito. It was delicious. The kids' pancake meal was enough for an adult. The service was great. Try to sit outside. It's beautiful.

Zaidee's Bar & Grill was a nice place to stop for lunch as we drove up from Oxnard into Ojai. Zaidee's is located at the Soule Park public golf course and the views from the restaurant are really lovely with the mature trees and nearby hillsides. The tables outside have the best views but it was too cold to sit outside today. Our hostess and server were both friendly and pleasant. I ordered the grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup combo which were yummy - the cheeses inside the sandwich had the perfect melted cheese pull! My husband had the Zaidee's classic burger with onion straws - he was very happy with his choice and commented that he really liked the bun. We will definitely be back to this hidden gem in Ojai. The vibe was casual and relaxed and the area is beautiful. Highly recommend! (I took one star off because the parking lot was pretty beat up with cracked asphalt and potholes - it was a bumpy drive in with a lot of trip hazards walking to and from the restaurant.)

The recent renovation of the old Soule Park Bar and Grill is beautiful....classy but unpretentious. Amazing cocktails, never busy (shhhh), beautiful views, food is great. Ojai needed something just like this.
