Waitress was soo friendly, the food was amazing, my new favourite Indian restaurant in Perth. I always order extra and take away for lunch the next day. Garlic nann is amazing, soft with lots of garlic. The chicken Jalfrezzi is a must try

Visited this place after long time, must say the vibe is much better as compared to other Indian restaurants in Midland area. Food quantitiy of each item was way too much than expected which is obviously good. Chef was kind enough to serve desserts on the house. Thanks to chef Megha for awesome hospitality. Definitely a goto Indian restaurant in Midland.

We have been going to Zaika Restaurant for many years, back when we were still living in Midland. We supported the restaurant and the previous owners – the food was good, but the portions were always quite small. However, ever since the new owner took over the business – she is also the chef – the food has been absolutely delicious. The quality is excellent, the portions are generous, and we always have leftovers to bring home. We enjoy them over the next few days and often find ourselves praising how tasty the cooking is. They’ve also renovated the restaurant. We’ve introduced so many good friends, family members, neighbours, and even acquaintance to this place, and everyone texts us back to thank us for recommending such a great Indian restaurant. Furthermore, it’s, BYO, which is a real treat! The staff are friendly – especially a bubbly, kind, and helpful lady from Bhutan who always remembers our usual order. She will let us know how long our meals are going to take, and we always start with the entree. The wait time is quite long, as they’re always busy with dine-in customers. FYI, their takeaway is also becoming very popular, but their Indian food is definitely worth it! Two years ago, they accidentally forgot to pack the Butter Chicken we had ordered for our daughter. We called them and my husband was almost heading back to Midland to pick it up however, the male owner asked for our address and drove all the way from Midland to the Perth Hills in winter to deliver it. He apologised, and we kindly told him to drive safely and thanked him. Yummy Indian food, dinner and two thumbs up indeed! Highly recommended! Cheers, Happy customer

I had to follow a restrictive diet for a short period of time, and this was the only Indian restaurant in the area that would accomodate my dietary needs. Not to mention the meal I got was delicious, and the staff were so friendly. Also very affordable! I can’t wait to come back and try it when I can eat everything again ☺️🙌🏻

I recently dined at Zaika Indian Restaurant in Midland WA on Monday 23rd June 2025. The food was delicious, we also took away meals of over $100. The following day, Tuesday 24th June I emailed a billing query. I received a response promising a phone call to explain. I then received another email again promising a phone call. Today is Friday 27th June (three days later) and there has been no phone call or email to answer my query. I am disappointed that one of the staff has not answered my query by email or phone. I sincerely hope that I receive an answer to my query very soon.

Honestly, I have been to many Indian restaurants around the world and this place has the best mushroom curry and palak paneer. Been back to this restaurant 3 times and still they have the best mushroom curry and palak paneer. Great place for vegetarians.

Menu is deceptive. I ordered palak paneer and was under impression it will be $22/$23. I thought it will be $2/$3 more from menu if not same price. But when I went to pay it was $25!! Please update your menu. Food was alright but definitely not worth the money.

Yelp
Popped in for a late spur of the moment Valentines dinner. We both had the Butter Chicken with Garlic naan. The flavours were superb, ambience clean and fresh with linen table cloths. Service was quick and efficient. Did I mention the flavour already? Soooo good, with the Butter Chicken a little smokey from the tandoor and paprika inviting itself to the party, my palate was dancing! Stop by and treat your senses to a party where you will just want more!

Yelp
In Spring Park Road opposite Centrepoint, Zaika has been around for five years or so and we have had many enjoyable meals there. The menu is similar to many Indian restaurants around town- samosa, onion bhaji, pakora among the starters; a range of tandoor dishes - chicken tikka, lamb seekh kabab, salmon tikka; and an extensive list of curries, chicken, lamb, beef, seafood and vegetarian including butter chicken, lamb korma, lamb rojan josh, beef vindaloo, prawn madras, palak paneer and malai kofta. The list also contains a number of breads, rice dishes (biryani and pulao) and accompaniments such as chutney and pickle. It is BYO and is made up of one large dining area - although there are a couple of tables on the footpath out front when the weather suits. We opted for just a couple of mains this lunch visit - an old favourite dill salmon tikka from the tandoor and the eponymously named fish curry, along with steamed basmati rice and a garlic naan were quick to arrive. The salmon was very good indeed -the juicy, firm and tender salmon fillets had been marinated in yoghurt and dill and had a smoky flavour from the oven; the flesh was succulent, the skin crisped and crunchy. The delicate spices married with the salmon to produce a top notch tikka dish. The fish curry was spicier. The rich red sauce made from tomato, onion and peppers had a chilli lift -the fish tender and moist - again all of the spices well integrated. It was another very enjoyable dish. Our naan was fresh, hot, charred and doughy with a lot of garlic aromas and flavours - perfect for mopping up the sauce; while the basmati was well cooked the grains firm and separate and topped with a few strings of fried onion. The service at Zaika is very friendly and welcoming; and the food is of very good quality and generously proportioned. Zaika is among the better Indian restaurants we have visited in recent times. We recommend it.

Yelp
Decided to get something different for dinner after cricket training. If any of you know me, you know I'm a total wuss with anything spicy. So I went in and ordered butter chicken MILD and some naan bread. All for take away. The lady told me the price but then asked me to wait as the guy was on the computerised till. So he then puts my order in and it came up about $6 more expensive than what the lady said and what the menu said. So naturally I questioned this. He said there was a price increase recently. I replied that's fine but you can't just charge more. People need to be told or it's false advertising. Went on for 5 mins or so.... Aaaaaaannnywayyyyyyyyy......got my over charged meal and headed home. The chicken pieces were cut huge which surprised me. Had a bite and my mouth caught fire!! It was THE SPICIEST butter chicken I have ever had. As I was seriously hungry and had already felt ripped off, I ate as much of the chicken as I could. Normal night followed, went to bed. And then around 3am, I was up with food poisoning. I can't help but think it was deliberate. I have since reported them to the health dept. never will I return and never will I say anything good about the place.

Yelp
I am a regular here and always order a variation of the following: vegetable birayni, mixed vegetable curry (extra spicy), dhal tadka, baigan bharta. The menu is varied and is a vegan/vegetarian's dream. The food is ALWAYS delicious, the service quick - no matter if I dine in or order ahead - and the staff are so super friendly. They now know me by name. But I'm beginning to realise that wherever I go, the staff know me by name ;-)

Yelp
Came here for the first time the other night. Staff are friendly and the place filled quickly. Only about 10-12 tables so go earlyish if you don't want to wait. The butter chicken and tandoori mustard potatoes were my faves. So yummy! The rice and garlic naan were also great. Lassi wasn't quite my style (it had more yoghurt, less mango) but was still good for cooling your mouth after the spicy food!

Yelp
Best Indian in Perth, I reckon. Eat in or take out, it's always good and definitely my favourite place to eat in Midland. Fresh, delicious, friendly & excellent value!!!

Georgina B.

Yelp
Dined here twice and had many a takeaway. Absolutely amazing curries! Portion sizes are great, usually have enough for leftovers the next day. The waitstaff have always been friendly and attentive and we have never had to wait too long for anything. Always recommend it to everyone

Yelp
I have dined here twice and other than the curries being tasty, I have been disappointed. Burnt naans, average bhaji, bland samosas. I always like to give a venue a second chance but unfortunately I still wasn't in love with this place like other reviewers.

Yelp
Regular customer's. We stumbled across this place looking for somewhere that serves vegetarian food. Excellent customer service and delicious food. Large range of vegetarian options and never need to wait too long.

Naomi H.

Yelp
Loved this place. The food was so good!! Prices were reasonable. Food came out fast. All 3 curries we got were so tasty. Will become our new favourite spot.

Yelp
The best Indian food around. Nothing further to add. It's just brilliant. Try it and see for yourself!
