Zajal Restaurant

We ordered barbecue pizza, zajal salad, zajal smoothie and lime and mint juice. All tasted good except for the salad, we didn't like it at all, and it was quite expensive. The place is nice and comfortable, I loved the decor especially in the inside court, the terrace is nice if you want a view of street outside but I liked the inside court more. Rating atmosphere 4 because the workers kept standing at the door close to our table and talking to each other, so it was difficult for me and my friend to talk and eat comfortably until they left to do something else. But overall it was a good experience.

Zajal was the first place I ate during my stay in Jordan and I made sure to return before leaving. I had no idea what to order and on both visits Eiad was able to recommend me, honestly, the tastiest meals I had throughout my week stay in Jordan. The chicken makloubeh was lovely and their lamb fell off the bone. I was travelling/dining alone and the staff made me feel very comfortable and welcome. I would definitely recommend.

I went there based on the many good reviews. On the positive side, the food tasted good, beautiful presentation, friendly staff and nice service plus a very central location. Unfortunately the day after I had very bad stomach pain and diarrhea 🤢🤢🤢 and that was the only meal I had that day, so I can't blame anything else except food hygiene 😵‍💫 Really unfortunate as the food was nice and I never write such reviews, but it is what it is!

If you are looking for a spot for you to enjoy the vibe of the local Jordanian theme view in the downtown. Their food is good but quite expensive for what you are getting. Their food view is outstanding and sooo cool. I got bothered by the employees constantly trying to make me order more food when i clearly didn’t need anymore i think they were trying for me too keep adding stuff for the bill. Overall good experience just watch out for the employees who keep asking you for stuff.

BEautiful restaurant, great vibe, amazing staff and most of all delicious food. Definitely must try Maqluba and Mansaf and also tahini kofta 👌👌👌 we had an amazing experience! Thanks guys !

The atmosphere is unique and calming. I think the waiters would make the experience better if they themselves took in the restaurant's atmosphere and were calmer. Most of the dishes tasted as good as they get, though it's a shame they only serve eggs as omelettes despite having "sunny side" given in the menu as an option. If you order that, you'll get an omelette.

Extremely welcoming place where hospitality among servers is top notch. Food and drinks were very good which included variation of juices, starters like hummus with meat and maqluba. Beautiful spacious place with a two floors and a beautiful terrace view to the buzzing street.

Loved the food, big portions. Service is amazing. Shisha is great. You should try lemon mint flavor.
