You will not find a better robatayaki experience - especially if you are on the pickier side and do not want an omakase-type experience. The menu offerings are expansive giving diners plenty of choices and im sure they are all done well.
I recommend starting with a set and some add-ons and expect to do 2 rounds or more of ordering. Do not order too much at once, everything is best enjoyed hot. And make sure to pair your meal with a drink, like beer! Or if you dont consume alcohol, I would recommend one of their mocktails.
If your diet includes all proteins, definitely spring for the wagyu or premium pork options. Also note that some meats offer a sea salt or teriyaki version. The teriyaki is a light sweet sauce that enhances the meat, it doesn't overpower it at all! But also try the sea salt to experience a more natural flavor. The duck breast was also great! Any option with the yuzu citrus chili is also delicious (a little will go a long way). My boyfriend lucked out that they had Yellowtail skewers, but I would recommend asking the waitstaff what specials are available and be sure to browse the monthly special menu. Beware that they might not have some options in stock, but it will give you a reason to get back.
The atmosphere and experience feels very authentic and the setting is great for family, friends and lovers. If you are seated facing the grill it is fun watching them cook. Reservations are accepted but I personally havent had issues getting a table. Additionally, they have a 2 hour eating period, but that is plenty of time to enjoy your meal.
Very hopeful that I will get to return in the next year.
