Zakura Ranelagh

I went with three friends to celebrate a birthday. The Volcano Maki was a little spicy and super delicious – also very Instagram-worthy! The shrimp tempura was just as good as the ones I had in Japan. We also shared the Crunchy Salmon Roll and the Salmon Cream Cheese Roll, and both were perfect for sharing. The salmon was so fresh it just melted in my mouth! All the staff were friendly and smiling. For this price range, the service was amazing – very impressive!

The staff was really friendly and the food was delicious, also the vibe in the place is warm and perfect to have a dinner with friends and family, definitely come back again..

I tried the wasabi cocktail for the first time🍸 I thought it might be spicy because of the wasabi, but it wasn’t spicy at all! It tasted like a refreshing lemonade with a hint of wasabi flavor – really delicious. I think everyone would like it. It also went well with all the food. The staff said you can only get this drink at this Zakura Ranelagh branch, so if you come here, you should definitely try it!

A nie place for lunch. The food is tasty and the staff are nice. The restaurant is not too big.

Had early dinner with family together. We love japanese food. The restaurant is nice, service is very good.

The food was delicious. We tried Naruto Ramen and the rice bowls. We don't have to wait too long for the food. The place is slightly small you may have to wait for a table at peak times. There are decorations but I think they could do more for the ambience of the place. It would be a much better experience with the tasty food.

The restaurant is not pregnancy-friendly, and unfortunately, the manager lacked basic managerial skills. While the food was good as always, we were cramped into a small space despite having reserved a table in advance. There were high tables available, but you can’t expect someone who is 8.5 months pregnant to sit there. The wait time for food was also unusually long. Overall, a disappointing experience. Update - Thanks for your response. Just to clarify, it was my birthday, and the experience was genuinely disappointing due to the lack of basic accommodation. If high tables are standard for bookings, customers should be clearly informed in advance—especially when it’s visibly obvious someone is heavily pregnant. A little effort to “try and manage” the situation better would have gone a long way. I hope you take this feedback seriously to improve future experiences.

Good value for money. Really good food with quality ingredients. Good service. A bit small in terms of space but tidy and clean.
