Zakura Ranelagh

I ordered the Naruto Ramen and the Tonkotsu Ramen, and both were absolutely lovely! I’ve been missing good tonkotsu ramen, so I was a bit worried at first because I know how the original should taste. But this place completely convinced me — it was perfect. The staff were also incredibly friendly, which made the experience even better. Definitely recommend!

I went with three friends to celebrate a birthday. The Volcano Maki was a little spicy and super delicious – also very Instagram-worthy! The shrimp tempura was just as good as the ones I had in Japan. We also shared the Crunchy Salmon Roll and the Salmon Cream Cheese Roll, and both were perfect for sharing. The salmon was so fresh it just melted in my mouth! All the staff were friendly and smiling. For this price range, the service was amazing – very impressive!

I had a mixed experience today in Zakura. Food was delicious, I even shared with my boyfriend how amazing it was. However, I had a frustrating experiences with the staff. I was seated initially at the bar area, then the other waiter asked me to leave saying it was booked. Then the other waiter asked me to sit in the corner at a very small table looking into the wall, that I refused and was going to leave. Then they found a seat for me. When I finished the first dish and was eating sushi, the waiter started asking me if I finished and if I needed takeaway. It was so rushed and I felt like they were waiting for me to leave. I appreciate, the staff found me a place anyway. Thank you

The staff was really friendly and the food was delicious, also the vibe in the place is warm and perfect to have a dinner with friends and family, definitely come back again..

I tried the wasabi cocktail for the first time🍸 I thought it might be spicy because of the wasabi, but it wasn’t spicy at all! It tasted like a refreshing lemonade with a hint of wasabi flavor – really delicious. I think everyone would like it. It also went well with all the food. The staff said you can only get this drink at this Zakura Ranelagh branch, so if you come here, you should definitely try it!

One of the best sushi restaurants around.

Have been to every zakura in Dublin and every time service and food is superb. Staff are so lovely and attentive. Best sushi in dublin by far.
