Zanders Coffee

I recently visited Zander's coffee shop and loved it. The mudslide shake was TO DIE FOR – a perfect blend of rich chocolate and hazelnut that had me hooked from the first sip. The host was super sweet and made the experience even more enjoyable. Plus, the convenience of their drive-through service is a huge bonus! I'd love to go back and try more of their delicious offerings. If you're a coffee or shake lover, Zander's is definitely worth a visit!

I really enjoy this place. Everyone is so friendly and helpful and the coffee is great! Maddy is so sweet and takes the time to offer suggestions and make sure your order is exactly what you’re looking for. She is so welcoming and helpful. I rarely leave reviews but I left there with such a positive feeling that I called and got her name because she really deserves recognition. I look forward to my next coffee. 🩷

Such a great little coffee place. A stop at Zander's is a must every time my husband and I are in the area. The blended coffees are our fave! The outside seating makes it very family friendly and I appreciate the drive-thru option.

I stop here every day before work, I haven't had a bad drink yet. They are slow I will say, not necessarily a bad thing but if you're in a hurry you might be disappointed with the speed. The food, I only had a muffin and a bagel, hard to ruin either one of those so I cannot give an honest opinion.

Cutest little coffee shop with such a fun menu! Small, but they have a drive-thru and some outdoor seating! We tried the Hufflepuff, Princess Lea, and their monthly special which was topped with lucky charms - all were a bit too sweet for me but still very yummy. Also, they had the cutest pins from the Button Girl. Overall vibes are 10/10!

This is the go-to place for coffee in the mountains. They have a large selection of drinks, flavors, and seasonal specials. My favorites are the blended Slytherin (perfect for a bitter-sweet day) and the good ol' classic Carmilla. Pair any of those with one of their delectable muffins or their breakfast croissant sandwiches and you're set to take on the day!

Found this place on a whim. The place has a lot of personality. Had Harry Potter and star wars themed drinks. I didn’t pack my aeropress for my trip and felt like I was going to regret it. But this place filled the coffee need. Forsure make a stop!

Great Expresso, Cappachino, tea and delicious pasteries! Coffee beans are fresh ground. The staff is warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable. They also offer drive-thru.

Needed a caffeine pick me up on our way home. Such a cute little coffee shop with drive thru and walk up options. My blended milky way was so yummy and my hubby enjoyed his hot milky way too. The service was good as well.

I get this with extra carmel every time I go and it's always so good with great service! The staff are super sweet and get drinks out fast

The redheaded lass had great customer service. She served us promptly and kept things moving in a considerate fashion. I ordered the blended Mudslide with Oatmilk, which was phenomenal. It was sweet but their espresso was featured prominently within this large cup. My wife ordered a decaf iced Oatmilk Carmilla. This was the Door Stopper Award winner. It had several notable elements that won our hearts over. The decaf was clean tasting. I'm thinking they use water processing vs. chemical processing. Second, the coffee flavor was pronounced. Third, even with the coffee flavor tasting so good, it seemed like the caramel they used is freshly made here. Aromatic, pungent, smoky, yet delightfully fresh. They've definitely earned our return visit next time we visit the area. Thanks for the great experience!!!!

First time trying the coffee here. We were passing through from a trip to Yosemite we saw a small flea market/ vendor event in the village and to walk around we got coffee at Zanders!! My son got the mudslide , my daughter got the milky way frappuccino and my partner and I tried the white mochaccinno. I should say we were all very pleased with our picks. They had a very good creamy base taste. We will be stopping by again on our next visit!!! Service was fast however they did get my white mochacciano confused and gave me a regular one but they fixed it and the goodness made up for it. They have a nice outdoor seating which is relaxing and chill!! Lots of seating to sit or grab and go !!! Recommend to try if passing through coarsegold !!!

I wanted a little coffee treat on the drive home to the OC and found Zanders through Yelp. It's in a little tiny touristy-looking area to the right as you're leaving Yosemite South Entrance. I wanted a blended drink which they delivered and it was delicious. I think I just got the Mocha and my husband got a Caramel blended drink. The woman inside was really nice, there were only two cars ahead of us and it moved quickly. I got out while we were waiting and walked around the little area. There's actually an entrance to the coffee shop around back and I saw a little table. Good coffee and great service - lucky to have this in a little town called Coarsegold!

Cute spot on the way to/from Yosemite. In search of good coffee for the drive but didn't want to go out of our way. Found this and bonus, it has a drive through bc we had our pup w us. There's a menu and you order at the window and wait for your order. I got the Milky Way & my bf got a chai latte. Both delicious

Very cute coffee shop on the way to yosemite. Lovely staff, great variety of coffee, amazing collection of flavors for Italian soda. They had star wars themed coffee too. This place is surrounded by antique stores. Must stop if you are on the way to yosemite from the south entrance. We took Mochachino which was super refreshing. Coffee beans had perfect flavor. Poppy seed almond muffin was not that sweet, soft, delicious. They also had GF bakery options.

I've been living here about a year. This community doesn't have a lot of choices but really for coffee Zanders is all you need. They have delicious coffee, smoothies and treats. I've taken them to go and we've sat outside and hung out. I love their space, it's a very peaceful place. If you are driving by, it's definitely worth a stop.

Such a cute little coffee shop with friendly staff and delicious coffee and treats! I didn't get anything crazy, only a tea but it was good. The staff was patient and helpful and I loved the town itself. Such a cool spot

Was staying in Bass Lake and ended up coming back all 3 days in a row for their coffee! I had the Carmilla and couldn't stop reordering it to know what anything else tasted like, but I would bet just as good! It tasted like real coffee, Starbucks could never. The people were very sweet and helpful every time too! I wished I lived closer to really take advantage of their Zander's punch card

We just stopped in here on our way out of the National Park. The girl working the counter was SO SWEET. She was patient as my kids were deciding and she offered multiple lower temperatures for our coffee and kids drinks. She did all this with the biggest smile. The shop itself is a drive through and it has a tiny inside to order only. There are tables outside to enjoy your goodies. All of our drinks were delicious and so were all our baked goods. They were very fresh and delicious. This is definitely a local favorite but also perfect for travelers.

I came here and I absolutely loved my coffee! I got the cold brew and was looking for sugar free alternatives and the young girl working was so helpful! I got some of the best customer service! Loved the Harry Potter drink menu, so cute! Definitely would recommend!

I love the milkeyway blended its awesome. My old man gets the mudslide or the milkeyway. they have locally made treats and bagels, and even have some really great smoothies. They are considerate when ordering for kids and make sure to cool the cocoa and that was super nice! Nothing like Starbucks and the big corporations that we all are so used to, this place has over around 100 flavours it looks like and is super easy. Ive had both fast and not so fast service in the drive through, and always been treated nicely. Also I went inside to place an order unknowing they had already closed but one of the baristas still took my order and it ended up being free because they had already counted the drawer ( I only walked in because lights were on and someone walked in a second before me so I really had no clue) they are deserving of 5 out of 5

We were on a day trip in the area to visit the mountains and I was determined to find a coffee roaster to get some beans to go. Zander's was easy to find through Yelp and they were open in the afternoon on Christmas Eve. This spot is nestled on the side of the road and I believe is drive thru only, but easy to access and our order came out pretty quick. Four coffee drinks and one bag of espresso beans cost $30- so cheap! My sugar free, non fat vanilla latte was so tasty! Others in my party really enjoyed their coffee drinks too. I thought the staff were super friendly and helpful in getting our order out.

Genuinely awful coffee. I was surprised given the positive reviews. If you like espresso-based drinks, I would avoid them here. Latte was pure milk; I couldn't even finish it, tossed it and went to the next Starbucks (which is saying a lot). The owner was especially short with me, and even charged me 75¢ for a 1/4 cup of ice. 100% do not recommend this place. You're better off going to McDonalds or Starbucks for a cup of coffee than wasting your money here.

I haven't been to this place for years because once I was there and they were making my $6 hot chocolate with water and a packet.

I really wanted to like this shop given that it's a small local business with native heritage and no ties to larger corporations. Disclaimer that the staff was not the issue, they were kind and patient. They were busy but acknowledged me as they made their way to take my order I usually order two things from most coffee shops: coffee for me, and a matcha for my wife. I dislike matcha but I know what a good matcha should taste like, and unfortunately the matcha just did not the marks. I can understand that matcha isn't their main product but it shouldn't have been as plain as it was. Now for the coffee, I was genuinely disappointed it. I'm plagued as an aficionado (6 years in coffee) because I look for certain details and flavors. I read the bag for their dark roast and was eager to try, so I asked for a single shot of espresso. The bag lacked any detail for tasting notes and the types of beans, which dramatically effect the flavor, but I was optimistic. The flavor of the Dark Roast espresso was appalling...it was too light, extremely fruity, and biting on the tongue. All the markers of a light or medium roast and/or low quality beans...not a hint of bold, deeper flavors as a dark roast should have. I checked the website for more information and was surprised to see how they handle roasting their coffee. It's rather impressive and conscious of health quality. Unfortunately, it did not lead to an impressive cup. All of this to say the coffee did not meet, not just my standards, but the typical standards of any knowledgeable coffee drinker.

There is no better coffee in Coarsegold, Oakhurst, or the surrounding cities south of Yosemite. Great black coffee, delicious specialty drinks, and delicious pastries. It's a perfect stop for coffee lovers.

Mini drive-thru! Worker was really nice! Two medium .Americanas with nonfat milk.They did not have nonfat, but did have almond milk. That instead. Good coffees and good service! Recommended!

Amazing taste of iced lattes or hot & sweet staff!! Drive thru idea is perfect for the way up to Yosemite or the way down after a yoga class/workout. J ordered the carmillo with extra Carmel and he loved every sip!

Best coffee, atmosphere, and customer service in the area. I recently ordered my favorite vanilla latte with oatmilk and it was amazing, I just tried my first ever Americano that my girlfriend got and it was the best (black) coffee I've ever tasted. I've tried to like every other major shop from Oakhurst - to - Fresno, and this place beats them all. It must be in the nature of it being a small-business, and owned by a lady who I believe is a Chuckchansi native which means there's a passion and spirit of friendliness and quality that comes through every experience we have there. I recently moved and will travel back when I come to visit and come here since I won't get coffee while going out from anywhere else! It's a pleasure to support a tribal-owned business in the area and leave knowing you're taking part in a fantastic coffee experience, it's worth going out of your way for.

Stopped here on the way back home from Yosemite. Great coffee. Bought a bag of their medium roast to brew at home.

Wanted a little caffeine for the drive home from Yosemite and stopped by for a latte. I ordered the popular iced carmila and my husband got an iced mudslide with added caramel. The carmila has vanilla and caramel and the mudslide has chocolate and hazelnut. I thought my drink was too sweet and couldn't finish it, but my husband enjoyed his. He's not much of a coffee drinker, but if it's sweet, he's into it.

Great place to stop by before heading to Yosemite. We got the blended Carmilla latte. Very delicious and like people have mentioned better than Starbucks. So happy we found this hidden gem. Also plus they have a drive thru.

My favorite coffee place on earth. What's better than getting your morning coffee from a pleasent young person who seems genuinely glad to see you.? ...and their coffee is far less expensive than some of the elite joints but just as delicious.

Cute coffee shop close to where we were staying for the weekend. We came by to pick up drinks before our drive home and I originally wanted the cold brew but was informed it's only offered in the summer. However one of the girls working behind the counter offered an iced coffee alternative with a shot of espresso which was so great drinking for the 3 hour drive home. I was really impressed by the service and they knew other ways to serve customers even when something on the menu wasn't available. The roasts offered just smelled wonderful so definitely don't miss out on picking up a bag of beans to take home if you ever stop by here.

The Carmella was delicious! Caramel flavored coffees can tend to be over sweet but this was the perfect balance of strong coffee with caramel flavor. Would recommend!

Zanders Mangonada with Almond Milk is the BEST so far (at least for me). I hope Zanders will serve Boba drinks soon!

There aren't many coffee places between here and Oakhurst so we figured we would give it a try, We got the cotton candy Italian soda, that was not good at all... went into the trash. We also ordered the mochaccino and carmella. Both were super sweet but decent.

The service is great . The coffee and other items they offer are delicious. It's fun to go there. All the employees are very friendly and it's a relaxed atmosphere. All around a great experience at Zander's !

The coffee was very good. The people were very nice. If you are looking for fast this is not the place. 30 minutes in line waiting and another 10 or more getting the order ready for four (4) drinks.

We visited Zanders Coffee on a trip to Yosemite in June 2021, and the experience was absolutely incredible. The options on their menu are delicious! I got a Milky Way in a large iced quad shot oat milk latte, and I've never had a coffee this good. It was a delicate combination of mocha and toffee nut, with very rich espresso topped off with oat milk. My friends got similar drinks that were just as good. Their location is very cute, right off the highway in Coarsegold leading up to Oakherst, the main town before Yosemite Village. Their spot is super shady, which is nice for the hot summertime weather, and it was only outdoor seating, but they have a super cool wooden patio and a drive thru. It's also right next to a great breakfast spot, Wild Fig, which I also highly recommend hitting up after getting your coffee from here! The service we received from the baristas at Zanders was so sweet, and they were really helpful navigating the menu and what we would like best. I'm sad this location is SO far, but that only means I'll have to visit again ASAP because of how special my experience at Zanders was!

Stopped by here on the drive out from our Yosemite visit as a back up option because the coffee shop we intended to go closed on Sundays. We are so happy that it worked out because we discovered a new go to spot for all future Yosemite visits! Love that it's drive through in a cute little plaza with little shops. We got: -iced vanilla latte (really good!) -hot latte (parents loved this and finished within minutes of leaving the plaza) -iced blended chai (this was the highlight. Wish we tried more of their iced blended because this drink was heavenly) The plaza also has bathrooms here as well so definitely stop by during a bathroom stop in/out of Yosemite!

Such a cute coffee shop. Staff is always friendly and service is pretty quick! They have many fun flavors to try and do a coffee of the week. I love to grab a coffee here and shop in the little shops at the Village. Highly recommend!

Coffee is meh. It's always a hit and miss if I get a good cup of coffee here. One day I got a great breve latte and the next time I got one it was all cream and no coffee. I literally threw it away!

The coffee is delicious and most of the time the staff is friendly. I think one staff member misunderstood the situation when my mom's drink came late. In my opinion the barista was rude when I tried to put her at ease, but I still recommend this shop.

Their blended coffee is sooo good love the Carmella and the milkyway soo good they even have smoothies and tea its been around for along time and the people are super nice that work here

Zanders is my go to place for drinks! When I want a sweet drink they have really good blended drinks and when I want something fruity their Zingers are amazing! The staff is always super friendly and they are quick. I always find myself going here multiple times a week!

Amazing! We got Carmillo and Mudslide iced and both taste amazing. Super friendly service as well. Drive thru is open during Covid and the waiting time isn't that bad. Actually tastes like amazing coffe

We ordered mudslide and my husband asked the barista if he could make a drink similar to one he gets at Starbucks, he thought it was better than Starbucks. Great stop for a pep in your step!

Had our usual WONDERFUL experience!! Great coffee, tasty!! The BEST was Emily, the young lady who took our order and served us with the FRIENDLIEST, WELCOMING attitude!! Big smile, acted as though she'd served us many times and happily remembered us!! I pray she's there everytime we go!! And we do go often when we're in town... live up here in the mountains and travel off and on throughout the year in our rv. We tell everyone about Zanders and Emily!!
