Zane Grey Bar, Ballroom, & Balcony at the Weatherford Hotel

Great bar (1 of 2) with some history in an old hotel in downtown Flagstaff. Decent beer selection, plenty of room inside and outside on the balcony with great views. It does get quite busy when college is in session, but tolerable. The bartending staff is very pleasant and helpful. Definitely worth stopping in for a brew.

Bella took great care in serving and sharing some of the history of this beautiful (possibly haunted) hotel. It's a must-stop. We came back to watch the sunset from the 3rd-floor balcony. We enjoyed a bite to eat and drinks, too. Everyone is so friendly! Highly recommend.

Fantastic venue for our wedding rehearsal! We got married at Aldea and had our wedding rehearsal lunch here, it was perfect. We used the Zane Grey Ballroom, our party was 35 and it was perfect. The balcony is gorgeous for pictures and to hang out with friends, the views are stunning. The bar upstairs is super neat and all the staff very friendly. Kim Ward did all the reservations and worked with us via zoom and phone calls since we were from out of state, she was very professional and executed things perfectly. All the food was incredible and it was all prepared and ready exactly on time. Would definitely recommend to anyone with an event!

What a fantastic spot! The live music on the night we visited really made the experience special. Cameron Jameson was the performer, and he was incredible. His mix of great original songs and well-chosen covers created the perfect vibe. It's definitely a place I'd recommend for a good time and some amazing tunes.

My husband and I had our wedding reception at the Zane Gray Bar, Ballroom and Balcony @ the Hotel Weatherford on Saturday, June 1, 2024. We have been dating for over eight years, and are both longtime Flagstaff natives. It was important that we celebrated our marriage in a place that exudes the heart of Flagstaff. The Hotel Weatherford has always been a part of that for us, and your team far exceeded our expectations. We simply couldn't be happier with our experience. Throughout the day, the Hotel Weatherford staff went well out of their way to ensure we had the best possible experience. They took care of a handful of requests (ranging from filling the ice bucket to bringing a chair up for my hairdresser) throughout the day in the hotel room. Staff accommodated our requests with urgency, and displayed a pleasant demeanor throughout the day. Hotel Weatherford staff supported planning of our reception; they provided complete clarity on what we should expect, how much to budget for, and what was expected of us. Estimates were spot on, and the entire evening went off without a hitch. The event team far exceeded our expectations during the reception in more ways than I am able to convey in words. Every member of the event team was incredibly helpful, courteous, welcoming, and energetic. We wanted our wedding reception to feel like a wonderful and fun celebration for our friends; mission absolutely accomplished! Many of our guests have commented on what a beautiful evening it was, and how excellent your staff was! The food was great, drinks were poured with urgency, and every member of the staff exuded a sense of dedication to making our evening exceptionally special. As I noted above, we could not be happier with this experience, and would not change a single thing. I would be remiss not to mention: Kim was present for the entire reception, even with a hurt toe; that is true commitment to excellence! We will absolutely recommend our friends and family choose Charly's and/or the Weatherford Hotel for cocktails, dining and/or hotel needs in the future. As a Flagstaff local of over 40 years, it warms my heart to know we have people in this community who care so deeply about doing an exceptional job. Kudos over and over! We had our wedding in the Zane Grey and Balcony. After many changes of what we wanted our wedding to look like we kept coming back to the Weatherford Hotel. Kim was so amazing, and helped us answer questions that we didn’t even think of. Tony was a great bartender, even tended to the kids very kindly. The night was flawless and food was great! Everyone is still talking about that month later. We would relive our special night again and again! Thank you, thank you!

Walked around Flagstaff and got drinks here. The view is lovely and the drinks are unique, strong, and tasty! The atmosphere is really cool as well... Seems vintage

Zane Grey Bar is a cool place to grab a cold drink and people watch in downtown Flagstaff! Located on the third floor of the Weatherford Hotel, you get a great overhead view of the intersection, neighboring businesses and mountains in the distance. There is limited seating on the patio but it wraps around the building so you're likely to get a good view (if you can get a seat!) if not, they have plenty of seating inside and a few chairs at the bar itself. The hotel itself has great history and interesting stories, including a bar on every level! Be sure to check them all out during your time in Flagstaff!

One of our favorite bars in Flagstaff! Bartenders are fun and make an excellent craft cocktail, and the bar itself is a cool western-inspired ambiance. The wrap-around deck is a great spot to hang out at in the summer too!

Worst drinks! Went to celebrate a 21st birthday and was the smallest pours ever! Plus bartenders dipping their hands in the fruit and putting it glasses right after washing dirty dishes! Very disappointing!!!

Great vibes. Wish I knew about this place sooner! Waitress was so kind and helpful! Super cool patio that looks out to down town!

For now their menu prices on Fall drinks is wrong. We were told when we were closing our tab. They said they had to get new menus. They charged us full price, that was $3 more per drink. I get that prices are rising but they should warn customers when ordering.
