Zane's Tavern Aspen

Fantastic little bar in Aspen with delicious food and good beer at an amazing price especially for Aspen. They have burgers, good selection of sandwiches (Philly cheesesteak), salads, fish n chips and wings with a nice assortment of flavors. I ordered wings and fries. Large basket of fries (a bit too salty but good) were good and the wings were 8.5/10. $17 for 12 wings in Aspen was great I thought. They also Guinness and it was poured properly and very tasty. The inside is cozy and very clean. I was there around 3pm on a Monday and easily got a seat. The 2 girls working were so so nice and very good servers - 10/10 service. They don’t do too many mixed drinks and not a ton of beer selection but for a good beer and great food at a phenomenal price with A+ service definitely check it out!

Great service, owners teen son helps out and seems like a solid young man, and the Philly was legitimately one of the best I’ve ever had. It’s not good “for Aspen” it’s just amazing overall. The fries were really good too. I want to try other menu items but the Philly is so good (I add jalapeños) it’s hard not to get it.

Good atmosphere. We came and they were playing the chiefs game. It was pretty busy. There was not a lot of seating soon we waited about 10 minutes. The waitress was good. I think we waited <30 minutes for our food. The food was good bar food. I had a grilled chicken sandwich and that was good. It was $17 with fries. The other is chili and it was mid and that was $10.

We loved this place. Its small but quaint. Its a bar, so expect just that. Friendly people and they apparently allow pets inside. Normally that would have turned me away but the dog was friendly and did not bother people. Everything we has was great and so was the service.

This place feels like a little taste of home—warm, inviting, and full of character. The beer is top-notch and reasonably priced, and the food looked absolutely mouthwatering. Definitely worth the stop if you want to experience where the locals actually go. @7,920k feet

Grilled-fish street-tacos really hit the spot—small but yummy. Gruff but efficient service was awesome!!

(Late review aka 2 weeks) Amy was horrible, I’ve never had a bad experience with another bartender or server here though. I have been here over 4 times (basalt location + Aspen location) and each time I have had an unpleasant experience or totally mediocre experience with her. I have heard from multiple of my friends that she is great! ( but only if you tip her well or give her a good “online review”) Unfortunately, I was unable to give her a good review BEFORE getting into Zane’s so I got the “normal Amy experience” as many of the people around me said. Poor service and a miserable waitress, seemed like I was dubbed as a poor tip from the start. All good I’ll go to Bucks!!! Good luck with her if you ever have the unpleasant experience!

I only got an appetizer here and a few cocktails. But the drinks were strong and priced well and my Mac and cheese egg rolls were tasty. The server was juggling a lot but was still really good. (Australian guy) The vibes in here were chill and fun. Had a divey ish feel for Aspen. Seems to be a hangout for the local drunkards as well which is cool with me because they all seemed fun.
