I loved my stay at Zanzibar Coffeehouse. It has an excellent, central location in Stone Town. The staff were so kind and lovely, especially the women who served delicious breakfast/meals and coffee on the rooftop terrace; they treated me like a sister and a daughter and I will never forget them! Enjoying the beautiful terrace views was a highlight of my stay. ||||The cafe and pastries on the ground floor created a delightful atmosphere. The Espresso Room and private bathroom across the hallway were very comfortable. The hotel itself is not air-conditioned, but the rooms do have well-functioning A/C units. I can only recommend this charming, boutique hotel and would definitely return!

I visited the coffee house, not the hotel. It’s a touristy place, no doubt, but one that’s worth a stop while in Stone Town. Climb the four floors to the rooftop and drink your coffee above the city, with a view few places in town can match. The service was the best I experienced in Stone Town. The coffee, though, is about 40% more expensive than anywhere else.

Such an amazing service. Went there 4 times to drink some coffee and eat some snacks. Every time we were welcomed with a big smile and we were served by the kindest of people. Coffee was delicious, snacks were on point and the whole place, especially the rooftop, was amazing to unwind, relax and get away from the noise on the busy streets. Definitely would recommend!!

Our family had a very nice time at Zanzibar Coffee House. The staff and manager are very friendly and supportive. Great place to stay if you’re looking forward to exploring StoneTown. They have great coffee and the 360 view on the rooftop is amazing.

We stayed on the 12th of April- absolutely fantastic!! The staff were really special - especially Ali who welcomed us so warmly and assisted us with everything until we left on Sunday. The uniforms are so bright and makes everything feel so happy and cheerful. We absolutely loved our short stay there and will definitely return

I had a very pleasant stay at the Coffee House. The people working are very friendly and helpful, always with a smile on their face. Richard helped me very well with telling me about the different places in Stone Town and recommendations. The breakfast on the rooftop is super spot, also nice to sit down after a busy day in town. Only inconvenience is the bathroom down the hall and not in the room. But they give you a very pretty bathrobe to use!

Old world Zanzibar coffee house. We went to the roof and you just feel as if you’ve been transported from the hustle and bustle. Coffee was excellent.

Nice and clean café in the heart of stone Town, very friendly staff, good coffee, and sweet latte art 😉 I had a cappuccino and a chocolate cake, and both were delicious. Will come here again if I ever travel to sansibar. Thanks for the nice time I had here!
