Zapote Restaurant

This is my first time visiting this restaurant. We ordered chicken soup, it was delicious, and the atmosphere was calm. I will return to try more options on the menu.

Pizza was good, however the waitresses sadly weren’t too attentive of us. First they forgot we ordered drink and don’t get them until after the food arrived and then I had to ask twice for some hot sauce. They were busy at the time, however I think at least the drinks should’ve been remembered! Nice location and atmosphere, would be nice to add some more art work to the walls though!

Nice looking restaurant, the menu has little options. Serving sizes are small, and service is a bit slow. Presentation could be better as well. The burger was good; the filet mignon was good, although on the menu it didn’t mention it would have a mushroom sauce on it. I didn’t mind it, but I think it’s important to mention it, especially for people who don’t like mushrooms. And, we could use more ketchup on the side!

Never had a club sandwich before with all processed ingredients (and old lettuce). Fries were excellent 😋. Overall it was an ok experience/service

Good food with very good service. Try the chicken with mushroom sauce. I haven’t tried the pizza, but it looks pretty good.

Stop at Zocalo today after a day of hiking and thermal baths. Fantastic! It was the real deal (food quality, portion size, and price) Our party of 4 had; roasted chicken, pizza, burger, empanadas. All yummy! Salad, yuca frita and fries came as part of the meal I would pass on the fries and select other accompaniment. Anyhow, I defo recomend this place

Great location, bad service. Lots of dishes in the menu were not available. We ended up leaving. In another occasion the dishes took a long time to come out. The staff tries their best to provide a friendly service, but this restaurant clearly requires professional help.

Not very tastefull meals. We ordered clams as a starter, ceviche, shrimp wrap, shrimp soup and onion soup. I have to say, that clapms especially infusion was almost disgusting, ceviche too sour. It seemed that shrimps in the wrap where not fresh. I asked if Corona beer is served with the lime, althoug answer of the waiter was yes, she brought some artificial substance instead of lime. Ketchup with the french fries by the wrap smeled after all of the artificials, really disqusting. Only not so bad was the onion soup. I kind of hoped for something better as a desert so I tried banana split, but can you imagine that they didnt had a banana? LOL they grow in near by gardens...
