Nice restaurant directly at the beach with good Portuguese food, perfect service and wonderful view. The "The Fisherman's Starter" with Octopus Salad, Anchovy, Cod Fish Cakes, Boiled Prawns, Sardines in tomato sauce, Mussel Salad, fried Moray Eel and Bread (sorry, no photo) is my suggestion for the start. It is very authentic portuguese

Excellent mussels, the best I’ve eaten in a long time. The views are breathtaking. It’s a simple place otherwise , only complaint is it closes too early, more of a lunch than dinner place. Vegetarian burger was also good , so it seems it’s good for different tastes.

The service, atmosphere and food (we ordered the mussels with sauce) were amazing. I don't give 5 stars because they only accept cash payments which is a bit odd in today's day and age.

Beachfront terrace and extensive menu options. Service is too notch and it wasn't too crowded on a Sunday afternoon in summer. You must bring cash however which is a bit inconvenient, and also the flies are pretty aggressive. Overall though, a gem of a restaurant in Western Algarve

The wind on the beach was pretty intense, and to escape while still taking in the view, we popped into the restaurant. The service at first was good, then our server disappeared. The food was tasty, except for when we complained about 80% of the muscles being closed, the server just tried to show us how to open the closed ones, and obviously had no idea that you shouldn't eat shellfish that don't open while being cooked. Really a mixed experience. Probably won't go back. Definitely don't recommend getting muscles.

The king tiger prawns with piri piri, their speciality, is amazing!!! Absolutely worth every penny!! We also had the frango panado (fried chicken baguette) also delicious. Service was excellent very kind. Thank you for having us!

Zavial Restaurant was absolutely amazing! Upon entering everyone was extremely welcoming and friendly and the view of the beach was stunning. The food was insanely delicious - everything from drinks to apps to meal to dessert. Would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone who visits southern Portugal. When I come back to Portugal I will definitely be visiting again!!

Very Nice Place to eat and drink! Perfect Mojitos and Sangria. The Food is excellent, its slow food, served with lots of taste. The service is nice and efficient. Highly recommended!!!

Very good seafood, the cataplana was excellent but that vegetarian dish as well, friendly service, nice surroundings. A nice experience.
