Retro pastry shop, with authentic interior It was recommended by different media for the tsoureki. However, tsoureki and deserts were really mediocre and overpriced! The texture was very hard and the aromas weren’t strong enough There are much better ones like Maxim in Nea Smyrni Expect a line over peak periods like Easter The owner was really friendly

There are few places like this around Pagrati not to mention Athens 😊 You'll immediately fall in love with the smell of butter, tsoureki and cookies when you enter this cozy shop. It is quite special and moving to see that the family tradition continues after all these years. Although I live in the neighborhood for the past year or so I've only recently tried a few items and I crave them every day now 🤣 You should definitely try their tsoureki, lemon pie and small krouasanakia! Ok! I tried Baba too. Top quality, top service, superb taste what else do you need?

We take 2-3 pieces of κουραμπιέδες και μελομακάρονα and 4 pieces mini baklava for 7€. Too much expensive and to be honest I expect more for that price, the pistachio baklava was tasteless, don’t have a taste of pistachio just a colour of it, very disappointed. From all the things I liked only the μελομακάρονα, but I believe that the place is overrated and not deserves to be so expensive.

What to say about Lido ? The fact that you have to queue very often, and always during feast periods tells it all. The quality remains the same through time. Very kind and quick service. Parking is another story...
