My lovely lady and I came here seeking the sweet taste of gyros. Our server seemed to be extremely rushed and working 10 jobs at once, so I can’t knock him for that, but what I can say is that the services we received was equivalent to that of a McDonalds. This was disappointing, especially seeing many reviews about how good and attentive the service was. The real issue was when our food came out. We had hoped for chicken gyros, but unfortunately they had run out of chicken, so we settled for pork gyros. Our food was served very quick after ordering (about 5 minutes), which was much appreciated. However, the biggest issue was that our gyros were made without the fries and lettuce. This may not seem like a big deal, but once we realized that the other people (who were locals, speaking in Greek) had gyros with fries and lettuce, we felt heavily discriminated against, as we were tourists. All in all, if you’re a tourist, stay away from this place. You’ll be discriminated against as we were. If you’re a local, go all in on this place

This was definitely one of our favourite Greek restaurants in Athens. The gyros were extremely fatty and delicious! Highly recommend! And the Greek salad had a lot of tomatoes, which I also enjoy.

Veryyy delicious, no fries which was pretty different, but the portion was fair. The pork skewers were soooo tender and well seasoned but not overly salty The Greek salad was also delicious It’s so busy though. The servers take forever to even acknowledge us…

Service was friendly and fast. Good quality. A little pricey? Apparently that’s the price these days! The server got a little distracted and busy at some point but I didn’t mind getting up to ask for things which were promptly and politely brought out to us.

The staff at zaxos were terrible and condescending, we were squeezed into a table that didn’t fit our group size and made us feel uncomfortable to ask to combine table. We witnessed other groups experience the exact same thing; seeing multiple table free with no one seated yet when we asked to combine two tables they simply said “we don’t do that” we waited at least an hour to be served and seated. We were extremely disappointed in the service and atmosphere created by the waiters and floor managers.

i never do that, but this experience was really terrible. the service was so arrogant and rude and the food as well. they asked what we gonna have for dinner after like 25 minutes and then we waited another 20 for 2 gyroses in pitas and one salad. after all they wanted us to pay water and bread what we did not even touch. really terrible experience and i hope this review gonna save at least one human.

Yes pretty nice. Fries ok, tzatziki, vg standard choriatiki salad. Wraps and skewers all nice. Especially thick fresh onions and not the acidic thin ones left out for ages. Tourist kids on nearby tables were having a great time with the skewers and chips. Niceish fix on draught.
