Zaza Backpackers Hostel

Me and my boyfriend stayed there for a few nights. On checkout day he told us we could check out in the evening if we needed. When we left I forgot some clothes in the closet and the owner sent them to us for free! The owner is super nice and helpful, the location is superb, the room is super big and even has a washing machine! Everything was super clean also and I didnt spot a single bug. Highly recommend staying here for the best location and a great room and staff ☺️

I loved everything about this place. The room was big and spacious. Everything I needed was in the room (a big fridge, microwave, washer). The room smelt really good too. Actually, the moment you enter the building, there is a very pleasant scent which I thought was a pleasant welcome. I couldn't hear any noise from other guest in the other rooms. My room was quiet and peaceful even when I had the windows opened. The bathroom was big as well and had a shower curtain to demarcate the toilet. They provided some essentials like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothpaste which I thought was really thoughtful of them but I didn't use them cos I brought mine. They also provided a towel (not big enough to wrap your body if that's what you are looking for) The bed was hard and perfect for me. I slept really well after a long day's walk. Woke up refreshed and ready to go the next day. The location was perfect and pretty easy to find. Alot of convenience stores and food places around. Close to subways, bus stations, Myeondong market and Nandemun market. Walkable distance to most places. I meant the owner a few times at the reception and he was kind and answered all my questions politely. On my last day, it was raining heavily and I was allowed to stay until the rain stopped which was really very kind of them. If the three places I stayed at, this was by far the best. I can't recommend this place enough and will definitely be back here on my next visit.

The location is great, in Myeongdong, with the subway, cafes, bars, shops etc all within walking distance, including Myeongdong market. |The rooms are clean, and facilities are basic. The beds are fine. It's cheap and cheerful and It's good value for money. |In Seoul you're looking for something that's well located, and a quiet place to sleep at night. Which this is.

First of all and most important I think is this place is worth the money you paid. To get to the place, from Incheon airport you can just take the airport limousine and get down at myeongdong station. It will cost around 17k won (as of Dec 24). From there, you see the Pacific hotel and use the left side road and walk up a bit. After the Kampungku restaurant, just walk up a little further and you'll see the place signboard. Not so far from the nearest subway station and also very close to Myeongdong area. I booked the place for three nights. The person at the counter can speak good English, even the owner Mr. Min also speaks good English so it was very easy to communicate or get information. They also have WhatsApp for anything you want to ask and makes the communication even easier!! Thank you 😊. Our room was equipped with microwave, fridge, washing machine and tv. They provide only small towels but you can request for big towels with deposit. Toiletries like toothpaste, tooth brush, shampoo, soaps and shower gel are available for take aways everyday. The common room in the basement was a cool place to hang out after a long day out. They have cooking induction, microwave and even iron and iron board there as well. So convenient! I think not so many places I've been provided iron facilities. There was no elevator in the hostel unfortunately so if you have lots of luggage and bags, good luck with that. 😬. Not so far from the place, you can find gs25 and cu mart. So it is very convenient in case you want to find simple food and drinks. Overall, I think I like the place and will come here again on my next visit.

Everything about this place was perfect. Perfect walking distance from the walking street. Perfect rooms with washing machine machine and perfect service.

Our stay was fantastic! Beautiful and affordable place and a very kind owner! I like the fact that the place is really near the shopping/central area, it's conveniently located near the N. Seoul Tower. I like the place, so quiet and simple, there's also an eating area where you can just bring in your food, everything is there already. Love the fact that there's also a house slipper provided, so it really feels homey. The rooftop also was cool! Sadly, we didn't get to see the place at night. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay! A homestay style of place, compared to many other hostels in seoul it was very good for the price. In the room we had a big fridge, microwave, washing machine, Tv, and a kettle. The staff were all too nice and very helpful. Not to mention the location is fantastic, in the heart of myeong-dong and very near to namsan tower. We could actually watch the tower from the roof of the hotel everyday. Overall it was comfortable.

A lovely place which makes you feel like home. The room is not so big but not so small, and very well-equipped with microwave and a washing machine. There are kitchen on the basement and a nice balcony view on the roof of the building. The owner is so nice and friendly. The place is close to metro and bus station as well as Namsan cable station. There are many restaurants and supermarket around. Just a few steps from the building you can reach Myeodong market. I am very happy with the place.
