Stopped in for breakfast and wanted to try their breakfast sandwich. Combo prices are good and there is seating available as well. I ordered the bacon egg and cheese combo with orange juice. The menu said fresh squeeze, but I received a bottle and the bacon tasted more like ham. When I asked customer service, they said it is correct. This visit was OK. Next time. I’ll try their pastries and coffee instead.

Google
Well worth the visit good Cuban restaurant. Coffee is a 10/10. The food reminded me of my Grandma's cooking almost. Will come back.

Google
We wanted to try Cuban food while in the southern US. The staff were nice and I ended up getting the Veggie Frita Cubana. Was an experience forsure, the vegan steak had alot of flavor (and salt) haha. Would recommend trying especially for a quick bite.

Google
I’m so dumb when it comes to Cuban menu! So I was lost as always. It’s 7am and I’m ordering Cuban sandwich for breakfast :) the cashier surprised :)) , responding “Cuban sandwich for breakfast?” I realized probably it’s not the best choice. So I let her decide for me and she chose an egg and ham sandwich for me. It was delicious! So fresh and just enough for breakfast. She was right! Such a lovely place and lovely staff.

Google
Great service. Food was really good. Cozy. Even though a small chain it had a family run vibe. I prefer the small family run restaurants and this didn’t disappoint. Even though it looks like a dive from the outside was clean and well taken care of. Will return. Visiting from out of state.

Google
I don’t remember what I ordered off of the menu, but the only thing that was tasty was the chicken. The rice and beans were bland. I Thought Cubans seasoned their food.

Google
Was in the area searched best Cuban food and Zaza came up, decided to give it a try and so glad we did, everything we had was delicous..

Google
It's a convenient spot with a clean bathroom. The pastries were delicious. The coffee was ok. The staff is very helpful

Yelp
I love Zaza. That's it. That's the post. Ugh, they're making me say more. I'll just list all the things I like, the soup, the empanadas, the protein bowls, the plantains, the sandwiches, the rice and beans, the employees!! There. 85 characters.

Yelp
I had a mixed experience at Zaza. I ordered the veggie con queso breakfast scramble, served with roasted potatoes & Cuban toast. It was alright nothing spectacular and I was a little let down by how few veggies were actually in it, I kind of expected more for something called a veggie scramble. The restaurant itself is super casual small space, pretty busy, especially the to-go line, which was long when I was there. They do have a nice selection of Cuban coffee and pastries, though, and I enjoyed the guava cheese pastry, it was the highlight for me. Sweet, flaky, and really tasty. Overall, it's a decent spot, especially if you're grabbing something quick and want a Cuban pastry fix, but the food wasn't anything to write home about.

Yelp
Stopped in for breakfast and wanted to try their breakfast sandwich. Combo prices are good and there is seating available as well. I ordered the bacon egg and cheese combo with orange juice. The bread was delicious . The menu said fresh squeeze, but I received a bottle and the bacon tasted more like ham. When I asked customer service, they said it is correct. This visit was OK. Yelp
Quick service , food was good. I had the roast pork plate which came with rice and bean and a side, chopped chicken was also good. Roasted vegetables were very good.

Yelp
We decided to go Zaza's for breakfast on Easter when we arrive I placed my order which was Abuela's (Grandma's) Creamy Oatmeal, Toasted Cuban Bread, a Cuban Expresso w/ Guava Con Queso. My wife ordered an Egg Platter Combo which comes with a Cuban toast a coffee 2 eggs cooked as you like. The problem was the frother on the expresso machine didn't work so you couldn't order hot coffee unless it was an expresso. With milk frother being down it took away from the whole Bread & Coffee experience. A milk frother could've easily been purchased at a near by store while they had a the problem resolved. They gave us a cup a milk so we could mix it ourselves upon our request. The oatmeal was good, the egg & toast was great. The service as far as the person taking our order was also pleasant. The ambiance was very quiet this Easter morning & emptier than usual but I'm sure it had to do with the coffee machine being down.

Yelp
Great service, good food. A great place to eat. We ate a late dinner here and hope to return and try another entree.

Yelp
Zaza is my go to for Cuban coffee and quesito. It's a chain but it always feels like family

Yelp
Ordered grubhub excited to get some cuban food while in Florida on my way back to Maryland. Very disappointed. The yellow rice sucked. It was hard and tasted like it was two days old and cooked from a box. The picadillo and black beans were decent, but eating with old rice was a bummer. Do Better ZaZa. This food was not comforting.

Yelp
We found zaza on Yelp because our favorite BBQ restaurant was closed. So glad we did. The sandwich was hot and delicious. The pork was shredded which was a little different than usual cuban sandwich which has sliced pork. Ordering at the counter was easy. I expect to come back at later time to try some other menu items.

Yelp
Love visiting this location! A family member just moved near this location so it was a great excuse to stop in for a quick breakfast empanada with delicious aioli and cortados. Planned to take it to go, but sat at the coffee counter. This location is smaller than the Waterford lakes one but still has great seating and the counter was a nice little spot for me and the hubby.

Yelp
Walked to Zazas with my partner and he got a coffee and I got a lemonade. This is the location off of conroy rd.- it's about a seven minute walk from the cleaners. The lemonade I got was fresh and yummy. Zach seemed to enjoy his coffee. The service was quick and efficient. Definitely need to get food next time. Ambiance is a quick Cuban coffee/ place! 10/10

Yelp
Whenever I travel I always look for traditional regional cuisine. In Orlando, there is a thriving Cuban community and I just happens to love Cuban coffee, so Zaza was recommended to me so....I hurry up and got there. Everything here is authentic Cuban comfort food. Wonderful staff, with a family atmosphere. The place was small but had a bustling crowd that came in and out. I got a Cordata which is a double shot espresso with steamed milk. It took me straight to Havana! The guava pastries took it over the top! Amazing! This is my new morning Java spot!

Yelp
I never leave reviews-- I created an account just to post this review. Check my profile. TLDR: awful experience from a usually reliable spot for good food Ordered the vaca frita and a café con leche. The food was tremendously MID. The braised beef was very chewy (not in a good way). The tostones were burnt. Rice and black beans were fine (but they're also incredibly straight forward). The worst offense is the coffee. Tastes like it's been sitting on the pot for hours then they just threw in some milk and sugar. YUCK! It was stale and COLD. Zaza is usually amazing- it's my go to Cuban spot. But this was just a pitiful experience. Will NOT be ordering from this location again. Generously gave 2 stars (instead of 1) because the order was actually early (uber eats). But then again, half the food was burnt and the coffee was awful so I would've taken an on-time (or even late order) if it meant actually good food and coffee. Sorry Zaza, but this was awful

Yelp
I recently made a pickup order and did not receive the items included with my order, upon requesting help to correct this error I was told I'd have to resubmit my order so basically pay for my order again to receive the food they NEVER gave me. In addition to that the cashier walked away in the middle of our transaction to fulfill another customer's pickup order. This establishment is extremely unprofessional and rude! do not go here I recommend maybe another location.

Yelp
We love the croquetas and café con leche. This time the quesitos were slightly burned over baked and we didn't realize it until we made the 1.5 hr ride back home. Previous visits have always been on point. Perhaps it was just a one time thing but we will be back.
google avatar

Yelp
Authentic Cuban diner good for breakfast and lunch--real tasty and fast service. I thought the space was a bit cramp, but I highly recommend their veggie bowl option.
google avatar

Sandra A.

Yelp
Great service! Delicious empanada. The sauce is amazing! Vaca Frita was savory. The cortadito was scrumptious!! It needs to be a little bit more clean. It felt grease.

Yelp
Was passing thru Orlando after living out of state for several years and wanted a great Cuban sandwich with black beans and rice. This place delivered for sure. Very satisfied and will stop in again when in Orlando.

Lorena T.

Yelp
Authentic Cuban food. The ropa vieja is so tasty. The quesitos are amazing. I have being in several of them and the service is always excellent, even at the airport.

Yelp
I stop by this Zaza for take out regularly, and I especially love getting their coffee and a box of pastries as a morning treat. Service is always great. If you haven't tried their quesitos or dulces, this is a recommendation that you need to ASAP! I highly suggest you pair any of these with one of their hot or iced coffees -- delicious!

Yelp
Zaza is a good Cuban restaurant to grab a quick, tasty bite to satisfy your hunger anytime throughout the day. On this particular occasion, I avoided the lunch crowd by coming in later in the afternoon. I opted for their Picadillo which is Cuban style ground beef with a hash-type consistency. My order came with white rice, black beans and maduros. The Picadillo had just a tinge of spice which added to the overall tastiness of the meal. I can't complain as the dish was served within minutes of my order by a member of the friendly and courteous staff. The interior space of the restaurant is rather small but, the tables, booths and high-tops are well organized and kept clean, as with the rest of the establishment.

Yelp
The food was ok. Got the Caribe carne bowl and a Cuban sandwich. There was parking available. You order at the counter and they bring it to your table. The place was pretty dirty. The tables were bussed but not wiped down. The floor had napkins and paper around. The person working the counter seemed to have limited English skills, which wasn't a problem for me since I speak Spanish but it could be a problem for others. An ok experience but nothing special.

Yelp
Coming from Miami- This place reminds me of my home town, little havana! The cortado is $3.50 and I highly recommend it. Order it strong with sugar and a little milk. The quesito (cheese pastry) is my favorite. The empanadas are tasty. I would like some spicier sauce to pair it with bc I'm central american. They have sandwiches for $14 served with french fries. Tasty lunch and breakfast items that will not break the bank.

Yelp
This place is a staple and I LOVE it! Service is fast! Food is delicious. I always get the pressed egg and cheese. Sooooo delicious! Their cafe con leche! Oh my, so good! (I want some now, just thinking about it.) Great stop!

Jessica C.

Yelp
I am so glad I found this place before I left Orlando. It was better than the reviews lead me to believe. It's a small place, very unassuming, but get ready to have some seriously good food. We ordered their most popular items: Ropa Vieja & Vaca Frita. Their cashier helped us pick! She was very helpful. They food was great. Our favorite ended up being Vaca Frita, but that doesn't mean the other one wasn't good! They both were delicious. The beans were also incredible. I can't remember the last time I ate beans that were actually memorable! Oh, and we got an order of tostones--which were amazing with the beans. We also got guava pastries, which IMO are a must! We originally got one guava and one quesito (cream cheese like filling). Honestly, get the one that combines both! They are meant to to be eaten together. They are finger licking good.

Yelp
Gia was so nice and patient with my family. My sister was going back home from a short visit and she wanted to take some food back with her. The food was amazing even the next day! It's just a little expensive at $11.34 for just a Cubano. We spent almost $100 total! The decaf cafe con Leche was surprisingly really good. My husband got a cortado and couldn't sleep that night. LOL All the pastries, cafe, and the Cubano was muy delicioso!

Camryn E.

Yelp
Was excited to try this place out! Unfortunately all the food tasted old, definitely not fresh. We must've really came on an off day or something because I was expecting much much more from a place with 4.5 stars on yelp. Extremely disappointed in our experience and definitely wouldn't return or even recommend Zaza
google avatar

Cady M.

Yelp
Loved this place! Both of our breakfast dishes were amazing, we loved them. The food came out quickly and the service was great. My sandwich was big enough for me to save half for the next day and the bread was just perfect. I like the feel of the place, definitely a neighborhood spot. Oh and I got a very good coffee as well!

Yelp
Zaza is one of those ol' reliable type of places. The food and service are consistently good. Service is friendly and fast. And it doesn't waiver depending on location! The location here on Curry Ford has been my go to spot since 2014 when I moved into the neighborhood. Their quesitos are to die for. And their picadillo is the stuff dreams are made of! But please don't skip on breakfast, something as simple as an egg and cheese sandwich, on their Cuban bread, is life changing lol. The portions are more than adequate, my love and I usually split on sandwich they are so big. I do miss their old Tuesdays special where you could get 2 Plates for $12, but things change. Their coffee always hits and I like that they give options for sweetness level. Parking lot is crowded but it seems most of their business is to go at this location so it moves quickly. Definitely check it out and enjoy it for yourself!

Alpa C.

Yelp
Had high hopes, but....service was great, food is "ok" but not real Cuban food. Sandwiches have little or no meat or even cheese. All bread. Black beans may be Orlando. Cuban, it's not not Havana or miami. More like canned. Pastalitos have little filling or flavor coffee Cubano was good. This is really a fast food version of Cuban, Not great but meh. Sorry....if you want a Fat Burger or in and out, you don't go to krystals.....
google avatar

Ralph P.

Yelp
One of my favorite places when I'm craving a Cuban sandwich. They are always delicious and perfectly toasted. And don't even get me started on how good the empanadas are, so tasty. The folks working there are friendly and helpful too.

Rebecca R.

Yelp
Order here if you want; hard yellow rice, hard plaintain, sweet red beans, microwaved subway chicken (not pulled, "grilled") & brown salad. I ordered 4 chicken bols and one side of white rice and one guava pastry, both of which didnt arrive. Chicken bols had gummy microwaved chicken. Insane. Inedible. Disgrace to cuban food & liars.
google avatar

Christina G.

Yelp
DO NOT ORDER CATERING FROM HERE! we ordered for 10-15 people and we got food for 5. we had to rush to get more food from another establishment at the last minute! very disappointed! trays were less than 1/2 empty on the meat trays. will never order from here again! we paid $280 for the food and only enough for 5 people. a complete rip off!
google avatar

Sandra G.

Yelp
This place was a dump and so was the food. So disappointing. How could you get Cuban food wrong? They need to work on keeping the place clean and bring out hot, fresh food.
google avatar

Beth K.

Yelp
Loved the breakfast!! Definitely make your way here. Coffee, Cuban food. Very popular. The oatmeal was my favorite EVER!!

John F.

Yelp
I did take out ordered online. On time service Cuban sandwich's were great came with fries which were also tasty. Not real familiar with Cuban food but this is the place to get it.
google avatar

Matt T.

Yelp
Espresso!! Quesitos!! Combo = amazing. Their espresso is probably my go to spot. They make a sugar that is hard to be matched so get your coffee with sugar and thank me later. Their food has the typical Cuban dishes you would expect abuela or grandma to make. All solid choices and super rico!
google avatar

Tatiana W.

Yelp
Great food and quick service. The beans were pretty salty and I wish the meat came with more sauce, but otherwise everything was so good. It's just a modern-casual diner and it definitely a great option for inexpensive Cuban in the area.
google avatar

Samuel H.

Yelp
Having visited Florida and with five days to spare, I prioritized finding authentic Cuban cuisine. Having gotten a referral from a server at our hotel, my wife and I visited Zaza and let me say, it was worth it! The staff are friendly, straight to the point and excellent cooks. I pride myself on making a mean Cuban sandwich, but the Cubano I had here is the best yet. The Mojo-marinated pork is shredded, tender and piled high. Whenever I visit Miami, the bar is set high!
google avatar

Scott P.

Yelp
Quick service and amazing food. True Cuban Comfort Food! My only regret is I was too full for a dessert. The Vaca Frita (Seared Beef) with black beans and rice and plantains was perfection. I will definitely go back.
google avatar

Jay J.

Yelp
The food is good and worth trying but their empanadas ? Amazingly good ! Service was good.

Michael A.

Yelp
Horrible food made me sick menu is week only 5 items beans were gross I would never recommend this place. Horrible la comida estaba quemada los frijoles de latas sobre cocinados y mal condimentados y de paso solo ofrecen 5 cosas en el menú mejor vayan ah un McDonald's.

Thomas W.

Yelp
We went here on a Thursday in the late morning, and the establishment was quite full! Good thing, because its popularity seems well-deserved. Being visitors in Florida, we were hoping to experience a bit of Cuban culture during our visit. I ordered the breakfast combo, which comes with a plate with two eggs, a choice of meat, Cuban toast, and a drink. Even though I asked for sunny-side-up eggs, and turkey sausage, I was served scrambled eggs and bacon. However, I didn't want to make a fuss and was still happy to eat what I got, so I didn't remark about it to the server. The food was delicious, especially after I decorated the eggs with some hot sauce and pepper. I would recommend stopping in here for a nice and filling breakfast. Not sure what made it "Cuban" though, other than the bread being more Spanish-style than what you would typically find at a diner. It very well could just be that Cuban food is similar to American food, or I just picked a very American-like dish.

Yelp
1/2023: Today we had lunch: steak sandwich and chicken platter, delicious. Cafe con leche was better than expected. Next time I will taste it before adding sugar. Previous Review: My sister and I lucked out and got 2 dinner platters for $15 total!. She had Palomilla Steak and I had Seared Pescado. They we're Delicious. There were 13 sides to choose from and you got 3! The service was friendly and attentive. This place is a New Cuban Diner.

Yelp
You'll find this location off of Curry Ford Road with a smaller parking lot that has options for side street parking if it's busier. Came here with my sister, mom and my little one. We ordered up at the front counter and took a seat at one of the few booths they have inside. The food came out as it was prepped, so some things were quick and some things took a bit longer, but everything was delicious. I had the chicken with rice, beans and plantains as well as some ham croquettes. They have a self serve soda station and a few tea options. The inside is small and has limited seating, but we did see a number of customers getting their orders to go and a few delivery drivers picking up customer orders as well. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The space was clean and dirty tables were cleaned up quickly for new customers. Overall: A Great place to grab a yummy meal or take to go!
google avatar

Jessica J.

Yelp
I actually love Zaza's. But, perhaps this particular location was having an off day during the time that I was there. There were quite a number of empty tables, but they were all dirty, with crumbs, dishes, etc. That caught my attention and sure enough, when it was time for us to proceed to a table and be seated, we could not. We had to literally ask for someone to clean the table. I wondered why the staff seemed to not notice that all the tables were dirty. I found that odd. It was almost as if each employee had the attitude that cleaning a table was not their job. Eventually, we received our starter, but we did not receive any flatware or small plates on which to put the food. I had to get up and ask for this because the server who brought the food left before we realized this. When I asked a person for assistance, she basically had an attitude as if it was not her job to pass out flatware. Instead of just grabbing some, she went to complain to another person who then brought the flatware. It was so weird. The food was okay but the service left much to be desired.

Yelp
I had an absolutely fantastic experience here.... All of the staff was extremely welcoming and helpful! I was so excited to finally get Cuban coffee again that i got a Cafe con Leche while eating, an iced Cafe con Leche to go and a cardata and cordaito to go. I ate the El Macho which was very accurately described as fluffy scrambled eggs prepared with ham, bacon, turkey sausage, and cheese on our toasted Cuban bread. The sandwich was warm and fresh. The meat cooked perfectly and the eggs were definitely light and fluffy!!!! Omg so yum and it was bigger than expected and i had to take half with me. I tried the guava pastry as well and it was so freaking good. The pastry was light and fluffy and the guava jelly was so good! I bought six to go with some guava con queso and Quesitos too! The location was very clean. Not the newest but clean and continually maintained! The service was first class even when it picked up and got really busy. I initially got here right when they opened around 7 and by 9 it was busy! I want to still try the empanadas and Croquettes.... i will be back this trip I will definitely come back here everytime i visit Orlando! You should try it if you haven't.

Yelp
There's nothing negative I can say about this restaurant! It's a great business and I'm glad I got to visit this place on vacation. I've seen this place many times over social media and they do not disappoint! Great people and amazing tasting food. The chicken/beef empanadas are a must get! They're big in sizes and have so much flavor to them. I've ordered their breakfast egg sandwiches and a pan seared pescato mani plate. I definitely recommend y'all coming by this cute little spot!

Yelp
Ooooo weee! This place is so YUMMY! I got the Bacon egg and cheese sandwich with a guava pastry and boyyy was it good. The bread was super soft and fluffy, also a bit sweet. The eggs were perfectly cooked and not too salty, they cut the bacon into little bits so you can have it with literally every bite and just enough cheese to make it perfect. The guava pastry was super good it wasn't too sweet and it also was super soft almost like it could melt in my mouth. I also got an iced con leche but it wasn't very good, I got it with splenda but you couldn't taste any sugar and the milk did not mix with the coffee well after about 20 minutes of if sitting. Either way the food is great! If you're looking for a good priced yummy breakfast spot this is definitely the place you wanna be at.
