Zazu Bistro

Had dinner last week here and had amazing experience Our server was so welcoming and sweet from start to finish Entricote was cooked very well and my risotto was good (will better with more truffle oil on top and al dente rice ) Cheesecake was also amazing Would recommend if you are traveling Salamanca!

We arrived without a reservation and were seated outside which was a beautiful quiet square with gardens. The food was excellent, we had duck mousse (pâté) with fig jam, chicken teriyaki, followed by tagliatelle with chorizo and pancetta and salmon teriyaki. For dessert a delicious cheesecake with figs. Our waitress, Naiara, was very friendly and most helpful. She asked if we wanted to share our dishes and then arranged for each one to come, one after another, with two plates. It was relatively expensive compared with other places we have eaten in Spain but the food was very fresh and well cooked and delicious.

We went with a big group, precisely 27 people, to have our lunch here and we have absolutely blast here. It's a cozy place perfect for family and friends. Atmosphere is beautiful and so is the food. But what strikes me best is the service. To manage a large group of people like us is not a joke. People working here are very friendly as well as professional too. We have full menu means starter, main course and deserts and must say we just love everything. Highly recommend always.

We had the tagliatelle pasta with duck confit- it was amazing!!! They also can make most of their dishes gluten-free, so it’s heaven for someone that can’t eat gluten. The service is also excellent! Best meal so far during my trip in Spain.

Went for the menu of the day to choose between a couple of options for an appetizer, main and dessert. I loved all the dishes they prepared. It was super fresh and good quality. I would go back to try other dishes. They service was also great! My waitress made great recommendations and explained the dishes really well.

Out of all the places ive been too, this was the best dining experience ive ever really had. With a huge party of 11 they were the nicest service, put all of our tables together, and were patient with us. Naiara and her partner were amazing. All 12 of us left our plates clean. I was nervous but I got the menu sorpresa for 35€ and was not disappointed in the slightest! I got beautifully cooked zucchini, pesto, salmon, and garnish appetizer which was amazing, a PERFECTLY cooked steak from salamanca cows with parmesan and yummy garnish, the best tarta de queso ive ever had, and two awesome drinks! I walked out of here completely satisfied and in awe with the amazing atmosphere and food. Nobody left here disappointed and i was the only one that spent over 30€, and everyone else got main dishes, drinks, and desserts. Amazing and worth every penny. Let me add, with the surprise menu, if there are foods you dont like they tell you to let them know and cater to you, you also get to choose your drinks!

Friendly staff and wonderful pasta. We stayed next door so it very convenient to the plaza. The wine was very reasonable and delicious.

Best experience, situated near the Plaza Mayor. Exclusive spaces if you're a big family. Dishes to take your breath away. Best wines. Best waitress/waiters.
