Zebedeus is situated on the edge of a shopping area, quietly nestled within a church, making it both an easy and stunning location with a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. The food was well prepared and tasted absolutely delicious. The menu for the mains all sounded enticing, and I was particularly curious about the celeriac wellington — what a wonderful surprise it turned out to be! It was absolutely delicious. The entrecôte was cooked beautifully and paired perfectly with the Montepulciano. If you’re vegan and often struggle to find a good dessert, this place has you covered. They offer a great selection of vegan desserts — whether you’re in the mood for something fruity, classic, exotic, or simply chocolate, there’s something for you. The hosts were also super friendly and attentive, which always makes for a lovely experience.
If you’re after a relaxed vibe in a beautiful setting, then this is definitely the place for you!

We had a really nice dinner at Zebedeus in Den Haag, right by the Grote Kerk. Tried oysters, gamba’s a la plancha, enoki tempura, watermelon salad, and fennel soup — all fresh and well prepared. Drinks like the White Negroni and Vinho Verde were a great match. Service was friendly, atmosphere relaxed, and the terrace setting makes it extra special. A very good place to enjoy a quality dinner in the city center.

This restaurant is truly a “hidden gem”. Located in the hart of the city in a church it is very romantic and cozy inside. They also have a nice terrace. Since we had dinner beginning of April we were inside. The atmosphere was really nice, private and lively. Staff really makes a huge difference when having dinner and this was the case at this restaurant as well. Very friendly, explaining about the dishes, asking us if we had a specific end time in mind, offering to refill our glasses of wine, etc. Being attentive and there when you needed her! We had a surprise chefs menu with wine pairing and they also offered nice non-alcohol alternatives. The food was really, really tasteful from beginning to the end. The small bites (amuse-bouches) we got at the beginning set the tone; interesting tastes, high on flavor and beautifully presented. The rest of the dinner was as good or better with the highlight being the “Beet-Wellington”. That blew me away. Huge shout out to this team make the restaurant! I have been at many restaurants and this is one that I will remember. It’s not a big place so you best book a table in advance to make sure you don’t miss out on a fabulous experience!

Very delicious and cozy place, the outside table are very comfortable. Gluten free and vegan food is possible but there is not much options. Very impressed that they have desserts without sugar and also gluten free, definitely recommend

I visit the Hague regularly and this is one of my favourite places to have lunch. Especially when the sun is out and I can sit outside. There is a nice tree providing just enough shade and the right amount of sun. The food is really great but if you really want to treat yourself, order some of their pies. My mum's favourite is the apple pie, mine is the chocolate pecan one. Your tastebuds will love you for this. When it comes to lunch, I am a big fan of their gnochi (not sure about the spelling). It has got the right texture, fresh ingredients and is made with a love and passion for food.

What a simply delightful restaurant tucked in next to a church. The service was wonderful and what a surprise in terms of the food and prices. We had soup, salad, main course, desert and beer and everything was wonderful. I strongly suggest you call for reservations as there aren't that many tables. On a par with many restaurants in France; yes, it was that good!

Beautiful plating, very well seasoned and balanced. On a nice day one can eat outside in the shade of a tree. The service is very courteous and professional. Both drinks and dishes show a great attention to details, and they are prepared fairly quickly even when the place is busy. Update: after a few years the quality is still up, and it's a joy to return here every time.

Always amazing everything. To me it is the only place in the Hague where you can have a cosy and sophisticated dinner at the same time. Just laid back enough while everything is truly polished! The menu accomodates to seasonal produce and as well as food sensitivities and dietary restrictions. Ah also amazing cocktails and desserts, and lovely staff!

Yelp
Excellent quiet cafe, centrally located, with large, comfy outdoor seating under the shade of a spectacular (and spectacularly huge) old tree. The menu changes regularly, but in our experience the preparations are sophisticated and they treat seafood with great respect.

Yelp
We used to come very often a few years ago but then found some other places as we were a bit dissapointed by the size of the portions, even though quality was good. However we went again and won't be going again. It's not about the service, which is ok, friendly, and with a smile. But it's about the food. For example the pumpkin soup, much thinner than before. Or the mussels, which did not inspire full confidence. The rest was simple but nothing amazing.

Yelp
Good service, interesting food! Been coming here for years for coffee and lunch. Am such a fan of the JavaMocca and the housewine! Indeed brought the kids, but found the setting is not ideal for tiny persons. I would think the people that come here are çlassy art&culture-lovers. Jazzy background music. With nice weather, there is a phenomenal terrace, giant trees and the church overlooking it. In my book, Zebedeus is part of my The Hague-history :)

Yelp
Used to be good. Now it's plain bad. Slow, really slow service and they have no business selling cocktails.
