Its the perfect place for overlanders. With nice pitches and great views of trees and ocean. Theres play equipment for children and games for adults. The bathroom block is well designed for campers. The bar is nice and they were making a barbecue when we came. The only problem is the pitches are quite expensive at 5000pp.

Zebrabar is a fantastic campsite nestled in the unspoiled nature of Senegal’s National Park, offering a true oasis of peace and authenticity. The location is perfect for those looking to immerse themselves in nature, with stunning views of the lagoon and the opportunity to spot various bird species and local wildlife. The facilities are well-maintained, simple yet comfortable, making it an excellent choice for campers who appreciate nature without giving up basic amenities. The restaurant serves delicious meals made with fresh, local ingredients, turning every dining experience into a delightful discovery of flavors. One of the biggest highlights is the staff—always friendly, helpful, and attentive to every need. The owners and key staff members speak English, which makes communication much easier for international travelers. Zebrabar is the perfect place to unwind, explore the surrounding nature, and enjoy an authentic experience in Senegal. A true paradise for those seeking adventure and tranquility away from mass tourism. Highly recommended!

It's THE overlander meeting point in Senegal. Beautiful camp site close to the ocean. I was getting all kind of help like print out of eVisa for Mauretania or checking my car for potential problems. A must place to go everyone passing by

We stayed here after 3 nights crossing the desert in Mauritania and it truly was an oasis. We could have stayed here for a week longer than we did as the facilities were just so good and made it so comfortable.

On the way from Mauritania to Gambia we were staying here and everything was so good that we came back here again on our way back home. Really nice chill place to recover after Mauritania or prepare before Mauritania 😄 Nice and helpful camping owners helped us to print the visa also. 10/10

Location is very nice, on the beach if you are lucky. What brings it down is that the prices of food and drinks are expensive. A beer is almost 3x more expensive than in the supermarket. That's okay, but water is 1500 (€2,30) a bottle while its 400 (€0,75) everywhere else. It was very hot weather and the closest other shop is 25 minutes walk. Camping was a bit expensive, but the crabs make it a problem if you are in a tent. In the night they will wake you up, walking against your tent. Ofcourse this is part of being at the beach. We did dine there once. The food was mediocre to say at best. And for what is was, very expensive. The owner is very helpful, but the man who does the paperwork was very rude. We put a number in the wrong column, and he got angry at us. Then he made a couple of mistakes to our advantage, that we told him but he was very mean. When we left we didn't have a good feeling.

We were greeted aggressively by the owner of the place. She allowed herself to film us when we tried to get rid of their own dogs who attacked us. One of the worst places I've ever been. Excessively overpriced.

The place is perfect for relaxing and enjoying a great time, far from civilization. I highly recommend spending at least one day here if you're in the area. However, be cautious with the woman who works at the bar (see picture). She is by far the rudest person you’ll encounter in all of Senegal—rude, offensive, and constantly trying to charge extra for no reason. Never ask her to explain the bill, as she will shout at you. Instead, speak with the guy who also works at the bar; he is very friendly and pleasant, no matter the time of day. I give 3 start due to the woman at the bar. Otherwise, i would give them 5
