The oldest art shop in Florence is a must-visit for art enthusiasts. The staff are wonderful, and the selection of paints is incredible. They also offer a wide variety of papers, including excellent watercolor papers.

Probably the best art shop in Florence! They are super helpful and knowledgeable on all the materials. The gentleman who helped me (I believe his name was Massimiliano) was very attentive to details and helped me find all the supplies I needed, and gave great recommendations when I was indecisive.

We worked with Massimo to get lots of canvases and easels for an art retreat and they delivered! We got to Florence and were able to pick up everything in the lovely store (NOTE TO TRAVELERS: you’re not allowed to drive on those back roads without a special permit!! We didn’t know this before lol). The store has all the art supplies you need and Massimo was wonderful to us. Thank you!

such a fantastic place to buy art materials.. they have plenty of gilding materials. They also produce their own materials such as paint, watercolor gessoed panels, paper and much more. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They will also ship materials overseas!!

They have everything. And if they don’t they have what you need to make it yourself. I visit every year, even if I don’t need a thing. I always find something…

This place was everything all the reviews said it was and more. We spent a significant amount of time finding the right material to sketch Michelangelo's David and all the other incredible sculptures in Florence and the staff was truly top notch. They were professional and friendly and attentive. The shop has maximized their space to be able to satisfy an artist's needs. I really have no complaints but wanted to add a review just to commend them for their staff, expertise and service.

This place is good for artists or students looking for art materials and stuff. They can speak English and are very friendly. There is also 10% discount for students.

This is my husband's favorite shop. An artist, he loves to stop in here on every trip to Florence and pick up watercolor supplies. A well stocked art shop with a terrific staff.

My favorite art supplies store in the world. Literally. I am a student from SAIC. They know their stuff, they have a proper selection, aren't too big with a bunch of junk. Its perfect for a painting student especially.
